This is a solid track!! I remember going to their concert for the first time 20 years in Sacramento and just loving their delivery. They have evolved but still sound like the band somehow. Amazing band, loved them since my first listen.

I think the only thing heavy about this song were some of the beats. Fast tempo riffs don't make music heavy without the right tone.

I've been listening to demon hunter since I was in middle school. I'm 30 now and demon hunter is still my favorite band of all time.
Dude same. My youth pastor popped Triptych into the van's CD player and I was hooked immediately. It was my introduction to metal too. Nothing else hits like Demon Hunter.

I was the only teen in my youth group back in the early 2000s who listened to heavy stuff. Once on a retreat, the pastors son, then youth leader asked, what are you listening to. I said "Demon Hunter" and he laughed thinking i was just playing around and made the name up. When he saw i was serious he asked to listen to it. I think he got scared. LOL.
You guys never cease to amaze me the passion for God and for Christ that you have through your music is amazing and brings me to tears almost every time I listen to any one of your songs although sometimes the messages arent clear I have to admit I still feel the passion and the love of Christ is coming through your music you brought me through a lot of hard times and I think you guys are just one of the best bands out there Christian or not but especially since you're Christian

Just incredible. I love Ryan's voice. I wish we had gotten more of it on silence the world, but Tom's was great too. This easily rivals any great rock song they've put out from Peace, TD, or extremist.

Wow! How these guys can sound THIS CONSISTENTLY GOOD with so many different sounds! That makes four very unique singles IN A ROW that have DELIVERED! And that's only the Exile songs. Not to mention Outlive, Extremist, The Tryptich, Summer of Darkness - need I go on? My favorite band, and it's not hard to see why. They're sure firing on all cylinders with these new songs!!

I work at a freight truck mechanic shop now and we blast Metalcore all day long. A lot of my coworkers had never heard Demon Hunter before and every time I put them on the whole shop rocks out. Came around the corner the other day to one of the mechanics head banging to Everything Was White while working on a break chamber. Haha

Demon Hunter are one of those rare Christian bands that are not only capabale of writing great songs, but have those fit within both a religious and secular message framework. Anyone can take something away from their songs, whether it be a religious message or a message of conquering depression or anxiety, for example. It's a beautiful tight rope they walk with such ease.
Wow! This is not only my favorite DH song, this is my favorite song EVER! I cried so much when I heard this! I will find the rest in time! My family who isn’t saved! I will give them the Gospel! I will reach them in time!

I had a stroke 1 day before this song was launched, and it was the first song I heard after recovering. Almost 2 months later, I'm still recovering, but said recovery has astounded many people, both in the speed of it and the fact I had no lasting effects.
I am so incredibly hyped for this album. If this song is any indicator it'll be their best one yet

Que bom gosto vc tem, eu conheci eles em 2016 quando procurava bandas de metal cristão, guardei Demon Hunter, Red e Wolves At The Gate, e desde então acompanho ambas, más a singularidade musical da DH me atrai mto, cada álbum tem suas particularidades maravilhosas, o "Outlive" tem meu coração, assim como o "Peace", e essa música, me trouxe uma lembrança boa das músicas que me levaram a ter a Demon Hunter em grande frequência na minha playlist, sempre vou ter a "One Step Behind" como minha favorita, gostando mto de todas essas que tem essa pegada melódica e intensa❤

@@GabySilva-xx5ge Red eu gosto demais tmb,é outra banda que tem uma particularidade musical, e eles não tem álbum ruim, apenas uns com menos quantia de músicas boas, e justo no álbum considerado um dos mais fracos no todo, o "Of Beauty and Rage" de 2013, está a minha favorita deles, a "Take Me Over", pra mim as melhores deles são as mais melódicas, Never Be The Same, Pieces, As You Go, Best Is Yet to Come, Not Alone, Already Over.... A voz do Michael Burnes é tão perfeita no conjunto e tão suave, gosto tanto quanto a do Ryan Clark com os tons graves e ora agudos no DH

Dou destaque pra "Praise the Void" tem essa pegada tmb, ah, e não sei se vc sabe más o Ryan Clark tem um ptojeto alternativo de música dance meio synth chamado "NYVES" eu descubri faz alguns anos, e simplesmente amei, é algo totalmente inesperado, más tem várias músicas uma mais perfeita que a outra, dou destaque para "Common Ground", "Just Give Up" e "Parasites", foram poucas feitas, acho que só 2 álbuns, más vale mto a pena ouvir, eu viajo bonito ouvindo kkkkk mto perfeito

The flowing elements of the bridge and chorus are beautiful. That's what initially drew me to demon hunter around 12 years ago and I've never been disappointed.

Great music, for almost 20 years ryan has been giving us the most amazing music, i could listen to all albums all day, every day for the rest of my life. It's also interesting that is among the very few songs that mentions God and also Heaven, this is probably one of their more optimistic and bolder songs
