What a treat that was. You should be the snowrunner guide to kola peninsula. Exceptionally clean gameplay on this final kola episode (no irony this time :D), really well done and you took the high road to give us some last panoramic views of this beautiful place. Thanks for doing this, thanks for sharing all the shortcuts that you know, I greatly enjoyed watching (as I did with all the others). Keep it up, mate, you're delivering quality content!
That was a very nice comment. 🙂 It means a lot to me to hear uplifting words like that. I'm going to miss Kola (until the next time I play it again 😉), but I need a break from it after doing the series.
On to Yukon, things are starting to get serious now. The next 3 regions are gonna be a bit more challenging than what we've done so far, especially when we get to Amur.
I don't know how Yukon is going to go, it's been a while since I played it and I'm feeling rusty. Guess time will tell, it could be a huge flop. 🙄 See you then, and I appreciate you for all the conversations we've had throughout all the series. ✌️
@@zorshix you could always skip ahead and get the derry special or kenworth to make things easier
Impressive how you mangled that region. Looking forward to Amur, which you'll hopefully show as well! Thank you for such nice videos.
I'm looking forward to it too. 🙂 Thank you for all the support!
Real nice! I’m really blown away with how smooth it looks when you do it 😅
It just comes with practice, I've done this contract many times. 👍
Fantastic wrap to this region! Super pleasing to watch and listen too! Again, the music was great, and yeah... my new soundbar needed some tuning to kinda get everything on the right level! Lol! Still sounds amazing, and looks as good as ever! I also appreciate ya going out of the best route to give us the visuals that really make this game fun to just roam around in! Can't wait for The Yukon!
It was fun to get to the end of Kola and do this contract. I'm getting really excited to play Yukon, it's a visual pleasure and a good region to play. It definitely grew on me after doing it more than once.
Yeah, I learned a lot from watching this and my own play through. The steep hill you climbed up with the Dan I took all 3 plane parts through on the way to turn them in. Yeah they got stuck in the trees and I had to attach and unpack to make it through. It was super sketchy and I almost sent the one airplane flying 😂. The other thing was when I saved and quit the mission would always reset, so having the mission trailer be the last to go is helpful just in case that happens to anyone else.
Even though airplanes are meant to fly, you really don't want it to in this case 😅. I'm sure that was nerve racking. That save bug with the mission resetting must have been frustrating, glad you got it done and when you get the chance to do it again hopefully this helped out.
Great series! I also really liked kola. Been playing through it a second time now, trying some new trucks. I'm also working on Yukon on my main safe, so looking forward to that series as well!
Very cool, what trucks have you been using on your second time playing Kola? It's such a well put together region and a lot of fun.
I am looking forward to Yukon, it's big but a really good experience too.
I used the Dan lot on Lake Kovd with a van body add on as a repair truck. For the few haulage missions I've been using the white western star and the Voron Grad. In Immandra I'm using the Tayga with a low saddle and a mini crane as well. For scouting I tried the action but kept flipping it, so switch8ng to the F750 and the Yar now.
I try to use different trucks this playthrough and play chronological, although I'll wait for a while after Kola to do Yukon again, because I just started Big salmon peak on my main save.
@Yannic1982 that's great! It sounds like you're challenging yourself with the early game trucks and having fun doing it. Nice work 👍
I remember when I did Kola, I hardly took these shortcuts now watching this I will surely go back and explore a bit
Taking the right path can make it a lot more enjoyable
Just subscribed. Really enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time to put them together. Helpful as well as entertaining. 👍👍
Thank you for being here! Have you watched any of the previous seasons as well or just starting out here? ✌️
I’m so excited to get here and do Kola in its entirety. My old save that went corrupted was 92% complete in Kola and it was heartbreaking but I’m super excited to do it again. Enjoy Yukon and its contracts that have over 100 slots of cargo needed to do a single contract (including crafting).
So you're doing Don next, and then moving to Kola? To end the series in Amur? It will be fun.
Yukon is ridiculous with its contracts and can be discouraging to do but I'm ready. The region grows on me a little more each time I do it. It's so beautiful there.
@@zorshix agreed I like Yukon it’s just a bit of a slug to do solo but I’m up for the challenge
@theoriginalzinng it really is a slug solo, good way to put it. I'm looking forward to seeing you play some of the early regions again.
@@zorshix soon if I can make it out of Maine without flipping every truck in my fleet. Don should be relatively quick then off to Kola!
@theoriginalzinng when Maine first released I was flipping constantly, to the point of being tilted. It's so uneven and you can't see the spots that make you flip until it's too late.
Lovin' that u-turn action.
Do you mean how hard it was to get the P16 turned around? Or the Idea of making a u-turn at that loop?
Both my man. Plus other reasons. You think like a trucker, "staging areas" and all, to make things easier and you explain it well. How do you come up with your mission and resource management patterns?
@hansolo8489 I used to drive off-road Heavy Haul in the oilfield when I was younger so it's like second nature for me.
As far as mission and resource management, I just replayed the regions many times until I started to see the patterns
This is one of my favorite missions in all of Snowrunner. They should make more like this instead of easy cargo just from A to B.
I totally agree!
When the plane parts are attached to a crane they will clip through trees and such. I used the Tayga and when I got to tricky parts I would unpack the fuselage, attach the crane to it, the breeze through
That's true and a good way to get through the tricky stuff. So did you make 3 trips back and forth for the 3 parts?
Man, I took a break from Koka during your summer-drought and payed a visit to BC. I’ll probably be back to do this contract with the big Kenny at least…but darn it’s so good seeing both the P16 and Derry making pretty short work of the hauling. Really impressive! ✌🏻
Yeah sorry about the slow summer, but we're rolling through now. The big Kenny should make easy work of this contract and I hope you enjoy doing it (it's pretty epic). Have you been playing BC through or just get the Kenny and going back to it later?
@@zorshix Nah, I will finish BC, it's a nice switch from the hardships of Kola :) I think BC is a very chill and enjoyable map with some great trucks to gain. Kenny, of course, but also the Mack Defence and, for some reason, a stranded Tayga on the second map just ripe for the taking :)
@johnandersson1013 BC is very chill, and the Mack is a great truck. Glad you're having fun with it.
wow, crazy mission!!!
It's a lot of fun, have you done this one before?
I am a little late in viewing; just got busy and did not have a dedicated time that I could focus on this video. I did not want to view while distracted! Anyway, a fabulous series. You were certainly more efficient than I was, and no...I am not trying that cliff edge road along the chasm. No thank you.
You and Knull Modem (wish he'd return) are by far my two favorite Snowrunner Y/T content creators. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle Yukon.
That's really great to hear! I too have been waiting for @KnullModem to return for almost 3 years. I don't think it's going to happen but you never know. He's my favorite SnowRunner creator.
Yukon is going to be a lot of fun. I'm working on episode 2 this week and I'm being reminded how much I love this region. Looking forward to getting further into it. 🙂
you can pack the wing on western star twin steer (and fun fact...you dont need 2 heavy flatbeds for this mission:)
Hey thanks! Are you willing to elaborate on your fun fact? What are some other options to complete this contract? Just curious 🙂
@@zorshix i used DAN to haul heavy semi to where it is required, i used white western star for crane truck and lifted the biggest plane part on the DAN. Than i used tayga to go pick up wing with engine and bring it on road and put it on a trailer. The last part (wing) was lifted out from water with white western star and put on western star twin steer...for routes i will look at the map tomorrow evening and send everything to your discord if you want:)))
@mvettr793 nice work, and you were using all vanilla trucks, no mods?
I would definitely like to take a look at your routes whenever you get a chance. Thanks 👍
There's a 5 slot blue flatbed that should be able to carry both wings if I'm not mistaken. Or you could have just carried that last wing on top of Dan's head attached to the crane if you wanted
Do you mean the 5 slot without the sideboards? I suppose it would pack on that trailer. I used to always carry it back with the Dan's crane but I'm trying to change it up recently. 👍
@@zorshix That's the one
@mattevans4377 I'm curious if the Twinsteer could haul the smallest piece as well
@@zorshix I don't see why it couldn't, but you'd have to be crazy to drive a Twinsteer in Imandra
@mattevans4377 I'm trying to remember for sure but I know I've seen in the game code some trucks are coded specifically to not allow the airplane parts to pack, even if they fit. I'll have to dig into it again and double check.
But yeah, it would be a challenging trip to take the Twinsteer up there.
Yesterday I moved into there and I was getting the stars in the sky contract completed when all my trucks flipped my Dan flipped on the ice and it fell into the water and then when I was bringing the Pacific brew there wide semi trailer it also flipped in the water so I gotta get another truck out of the crane over there so I can lift them back up
Oh no, flipped into the water? That's a rough situation. I hope you can get them back out.
I’m actually loading in snow Runner so I can fix what I’ve done and I can fix my truck and stuff and then I’m actually gonna go to drown and complete couple of contracts drowned land
@liddynicole Sounds like you have a good day ahead of you. I really hope you can get those trucks out of the lake!
Well, one is by the big airplane piece so the main part of the airplane so it’ll be easy to get that truck out but not the other ones
@liddynicole good luck!
I have a similar strat for this mission
Nice, so I'm guessing you've done this contract a few times?
Which app you record vidoe
I use OBS Studio to record 👍
