It’s important to remember that wasn’t always the case. We have the Enlightenment to thank for the moderating of other religions. Islam needs its own enlightenment period. Muslims are largely stuck in the Middle Ages.

Islam is not like other world religions, it being a world religion, and even more so a religion of peace, is the biggest con in modern times. What people think of as "extremism" is actually just true islam, they are more honest than the so called moderates - and may of those are not so moderate as one might initially think once the muslim majority grows to a certain level.

According to the information about the locations of the rescued hostages, all hostages were kept in civilian homes, does that not violate international law for putting civilians in harm's way?
Besides the children, how many of the casualties were Hamas operatives?
It is widely known that Hamas operates without wearing a uniform, how would you distinguish civilians from Hamas operatives?
Who is more responsible for these deaths, when it is Hamas who shouldn't have started this war in the first place when it also is Hamas who could have ended the war at any time all through these 8 bloody months if only they had released all the hostages and surrendered to the Israeli Defense Force?

A few years ago l got to know a couple of young Iranian guys through a sports activity. One was a doctor, the other a dentist. Their families had escaped Iran when the Shah was deposed.
