Awesome content. Touched on all the key aspects. Full funding is such a BIG PLUS ahead of a visa interview. Partial funding is NOT the end of the road; people do get their visas. Here's a bonus targeted at those who do not get full funding. You will need bank statements of whoever your sponsor(s) is(are). I believe it's a plus to have a bank statement of someone with whom you share a last name, or someone who is a very close relative. Expect questions about what each sponsor does for a living. It might also be helpful to have a statement signed by the account holder stating emphatically that he/she intends to fund your education using their own resources. This can be handed over to the consular when the bank statement(s) of sponsor(s) is(are) requested. And as Dennis said, KEEP YOUR COOL.
I was offered a graduate assistantship at a university in Texas, and I'm required to present a bank statement with a balance of $5000. The academic year's expenses are $24000, and my assistantship is $12500 plus a $7170 in-state tuition discount . With this funding, what are my prospects of receiving a visa?
Hi Evans, Congratulations on your admission and graduate assistantship offer! This is great! looking at the required bank statement, you should not struggle securing your Visa. Your funding is relatively good. I know people who got their Visas even without graduate assistantship, thus, they were offered only a tuition waiver. This is good and I think you should gather your relevant documents and prepare for your interview. I am sure you will get it! stay positive and safe.
@@ampofoa_gh thanks! I've been denied three times; at the time, I went there without funding, despite the fact that my relatives were willing to fund my studies; however, I was denied the series, and now the new school has offered me an assistantship with that amount, so I'm a little worried that I'll be denied again.

Sorry about the past.
I believe you will make it this time around. Your funding is good.
I wish you the very best😘
Will they ask for my area of specialisations if I'm going for an undergraduate program?
Hi Sandy, it is likely they will ask and probably why you chose that particular field. This is to know whether you are a genuine student.
