This is one of the best videos on UA-cam. Actually all the videos I see myself in are excellent. How this channel has not yet reached 1k subs is beyond me. The alpine vape left me as hazy as the beers. Glad we both managed to fit in that small tent. Well done for giving praise to friends of the Cobb and the excellent work they do. An old timer made me cowboy coffee last weekend which I had never tried and it was supurb , no press just a pan and coffee simmered not boiled and tap the pan to settle the grinds. I am going to try and perfect this art! Lovely video and comradery.
I want to give this style a go also. I imagine it would taste very similar to a plunger. Give a moccona mocha a go. Not really a coffee but tastes nice and gives you a bit of a caffeine hit.

…ultimate respect to the friends of Cobb and flora. Apparently they regularly advertise in the local newspaper for new members….always love the coffee time in these videos. Taking beers in a great idea. Many moons ago I’d go hiking with a guy who took in a frozen cheesecake. In his pack without anyone knowing. Then at end of day when everyone is tired and hungry he reveals it perfectly defrosted. Also kudos for the swim… gotta be pretty cold but I suppose very refreshing. Great stuff as always.
You're not wrong about the birds up the Cobb. Spent New Year at Cobb Lake and was blown away by both dusk and dawn choruses and the Rurus in the night. So cool to fall asleep to. 👍
@@rachelfogarty4786 nice spot. One of my older videos I camp at cob lake but a bit past the tree near where the stream enters the lake. That’s also a good spot for a tent. Has a good outlook.
Hi there Abel & Victoria, This location is one that you HAVE to do again as a couple for your channel, it is Breath Taking! One cheeky question, what type and brand/model video camera are you using? because the footage combined with the music is basically cinema quality. I'm thinking of getting the Go Pro Hero 11 and doing something similar here in Aus.
I’ll be back here at some point. The camera is a Sony a7c and I use a 24 to 105 lens and a 20mm 1.8. The camera has a nice quality right captures the nature nicely. In our older vids we use our phone and a go pro 10
@@AbelandVictoria That even sounds expensive, Damn! Lol. The Go Pro Hero 11 is on special here at the moment but even with that, it's making me tremble with retail fear because of its cost. I will check out the videos that you captured on the hero 10 to find out if the fear is justified, Thanks guy's.

Hey. Really from Dan Becker didn’t know he has mentioned me. That cake was a plumb cake or maybe you would call it a plumb pie. It was tart with sweet pastry delicious

Thanks. Dimond lake is an exceptional spot. My camera has in body image stabilisation. It’s works ok if you can try minimise the jerky motion. If it’s perfectly still it’s a tripod shot. Yeah I missed the camp chair on this one
@@richardhudson3437 sometimes I use post processing digital stabilising software if I’m walking and talking with the 20mm lens but not in this vid. I have the peak design carbon tripod it’s not the lightest but its compact and very fast to deploy. It’s also full length which is great for some shots.

It was hard work getting onto the ridge. All wet and slippery. I haven’t been down to lilie yet. Must do at some stage.

Its pretty fun doing an easy overnighter and taking in a few treats. Yep flora and Cobb have so many birds about its so nice
