Your hair looks gorgeous. I’m still trying to find a routine that will work with my 3b, 3c, 4a hair. Why I need the hair texture of all my ancestors, I don’t know, but here we are.
Thank you! I’m sure your hair is beautiful! It’s all trial and error with products. I recently tried a brand called curldaze and the products are bomb! I may do a review soon-you should try them!
Only just discovering your curly girl method. Tried it the other day and my curls were banging. Definitely applying your method going forward. Thing is, the place I stay is humid asf. And towards the end of the 1st day, there was frizz (unlike other methods I had tried previously where my hair starts getting frizzy immediately 😔). You mentioned just using water to refresh your curls. Long shot here since you did this video 2 years ago so not even sure if you still use this routine, but any chance of doing a curl refresh video??
Yay! I"m so glad it worked for you! What gel did you use? I think since you live in a more humid area, you'll definitely want to use a gel with pretty strong hold. I def can do a curl refresh video!
@@tiaraanalyse291 unfortunately, the country I live in doesn't offer as many brands for curly hair like the US, probably about 10 different brands that are sold here. But I've been going back and forth between Aunt Jackie's, Cantu and Shea Moisture products as those are the most common brands that are usually available here (I switch between brands depending on availability). For your routine, the gel I used was the Aunt Jackie's "Ice Curls Glossy Curling Jelly" from their Grapeseed Collection. And soooooo looking forward to your refresh video. I tried refreshing this morning but I don't think I did it right lol, but my day 2 curls still look amazing and you're right about it becoming voluminous the days after. Also, still not as much frizz as opposed to the curly methods I've used before where I needed to apply more product on the 2nd day.
Forgot to mention, thank you so much for your quick response. Been on this curly journey for about a year and most questions that I have asked on other influencer videos are usually lost in the comment section. You curls are to die for, I absolutely love your routine and I've received so many amazing comments about how wonderful my curls are looking these last 2 days since using your routine that I've been recommending your video to my friends as well when they ask 🥰🥰🥰
Girl, I don't even know tbh lol. For a long time I got my hair colored a 3BR, and eventually it turned black. I wanted it lighter so I did a bleach wash and that didn't really do much, so my stylist ended up just doing a low volume bleach all over and then a gloss!
We have smiliar hair but my hair’s always frizzy in the middle and when i’m in the shower it’s wavy (maybe because of heat damage but idk) can ya’ll tell me what hair type i have? I haven’t got a curly routine or nothing
Hi! It honestly just depends on how you want to style for the day. If I have to go out somewhere, I typically will just get a spray bottle and wet my hair a little bit and use the water to "refresh" my hair since there is already product in my hair. I wouldn't recommend moisturizing every single day because it can weigh down your hair and make it start to feel heavy and cause buildup on the scalp. If i am not going anywhere, I just keep my hair up in a bun and don't do anything to it. Hope this helps!
Your hair is really similar to mine , but mine is much thinner and I don’t know how to help it grow thicker like it grows longer but it’s always thin so It doesn’t look very voluminous also my edges are messed up like I have bald spots and it’s coarser than the rest of my hair idk why so when I lay my edges it doesn’t look good
@@user-si2wi4sk2u try out using a mixture of castor oil, avocado n olive oil . Then infuse cloves n rosemary n fenugreek into your spray water bottle n spray it every time you’re moisturizing your hair this helped out thicken my hair
“After 6 hours my hair is dry” the curly haired struggle!
@Curly Haired Bella Exactly, me: 8 hours.
Your hair looks so healthy!!!

Girl your hair is pretty😍 super defined tight curls I love it ! and half these products I need to try ❤️☺️
My hair would never be fully dry after 6 hours of air drying. In fact right now my hair is still wet and i washed it Sunday lol
I have the same hair type and I’m trying this especially the pick the roots part because me hair’s so flat.

For curly hairs... is it good to wet hair everyday or wet few times a week? if im not wetting that day....do i need to apply moisturizing everyday?

Also I don’t use any heat on my hair, I deep condition once a week and use a protein treatment approximately every 2 weeks. Any suggestions?
