Your prices are WAY off… good luck finding an ionic 5 in the $30k’s.
Ioniq different from ioniq 5 I think.
@@ricardon.2641 Yes, but the video is talking about the IONIQ 5, which is $45k. I own the first IONIQ and paid $24k for it.
Yeah, you are right, Hyundai Ionic 5 was previously eligible for a $7,500 tax credit that's why we mentioned lower price.
@@gasev oh man, I wish I knew at the time.
UA-cam is global, please correct your title. Your prices are for the US only.
90 miles in a single charge is NOT a standout feature, that’s one of the worst if not the worst range of any electric car or car in general
Looks like the Bolt wins again.
EV credit doesn’t mean automatic discount, it’s a tax return if you qualify for it people don’t just get that credit. You should just list the actual price!
Thanks for the feedback!
I mean even if you are above the limit if you lease it you get it but leasing is different
For me price and range are the 2 most important features for an EV. Unfortunately the WLTP range specs provided by manufacturers is usually way over the mark. Actual range tests show a realistic range which is usually 10 - 20% less than the WLTP range spec provided by the manufacturer. I haven't yet seen any reliable range tests which resulted in a higher range than the WLTP spec! And as for price - in the Netherlands you can't order a Hyundai ev for an agreed price. You have to order the vehicle, wait several months for delivery and then finally pay a price which is unilaterally determined by the supplier on delivery of the car!
I agree with your assessment on price, but range is WAY overrated. If you comment on this, I'll elaborate.
But you will still need a diesel generator when it snows😂
Most of these cars are way over MSRP. Dealer Markups are hurting the everyday consumer.
Thank You Everybody for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste
Great Video 👍👍👍
I feel your title is misleading in true price aspects. Dealers alwats add many markup and various fees. So 50K is much reasonable in 2023. Still it is a good EV video.
Thanks for your feedback. You may qualify for a credit up to $7,500 under Internal Revenue Code Section 30D if you buy a new, qualified plug-in EV or fuel cell electric vehicle (FCV).
The video says the Ionic 5 ‘0-60 mph’ acceleration speed is “around 9 seconds” but I looked it up and it is suppose to be 7.4 seconds.
Supposed to be.
The charging times are deceiving. While its accurate to full charge, typically charging up to 75% is relatively fast, its the last bit to fully charge the battery that takes hours. I'd like to see some experiences traveling long distances that require charges. Does it make more sense to stop for a 20-30mins charge to get another 100miles before continuing onward?
They electronically limit it after 75% because charging that fast over that percentage damages the battery over time. So they have to take it slow.
You really should get a real person to voice these. It’s very difficult to listen to a robotic voice for 10 minutes straight. Many decent voiceover artist will only charge you around $15 to voice a video of this length. It’s worth it especially when you’re in 185,000 view range.
chevy bolt is just $26500k and has the longest range and powerful motor
Yes, it's on our list already.
$26500k? $26.5M? Lol
Chevy Bolt is the fastest, 90% hilltop charged range is 277 miles on my 18 Bolt with new battery pack installed.
No timestamps, no party
Kona elec in Australia $57,000 +
I was planning on getting a Kona……but there were none available………their website gave no hope………so i just went with a new LRMY in late may……i cost more.. but I’m very happy with it……it you like tech….go with a Tesla!! It moves so fast……sometimes, its like riding in a roller coaster! I have gone on one road trip…….no problem…..as Tesla chargers are EVERYWHERE!!! & they all work! Good luck finding many of these cars in those price ranges in the US…except the volt….
Hi Karen, thanks for your feedback. Price may depend on various factors such as trim levels, tax returns, etc. Example for 2023 Nissan Leaf $27,800 ($20,300 after full federal tax credit)
Depending on your state you get like 10,000$ back fed/$tate
you neglected to add where each of these cars will be available. As you know most of the cheaper cars are NOT available in the US leaving many of us Americans unable to buy an electric car.
Hi @pamelab1400, thanks for your feedback. This is our first video ever. We will update future videos with release dates. Please subscribe to our channel bit.ly/3CSSOiD

Mini elec in Australia $72,000 +
Wow!
The 2023 Kona EV has a defect that Hyundai cannot fix! We are on our second 2023 Kona EV and it has the same problem as the first one. There is no internal heat and @hyundai cannot fix it. Our dealerships solution, @Colonial_Hyundai, was to swap a brand new car (same make, model and color) for more money a month. But, the new Kona EV has the same exact defect! Obviously Hyundai quality controls are severely lacking. When we reached out to @hyundai, they don't think anything is wrong with our situation. I will NEVER buy another @hyundai again! #HyundaiKona #KonaElectric
Welp, the cooper mini electric starts at $52 900 on my country, gotta love getting payed less and charged more unlike other countries
Horse and buggy does the same thing .
Focus???????? They're extinct. And the MX-30 has either a battery or a rotary engine range extender with 50 mile battery.
You can have a BYD SEEGAL at 15000 an MG4 for less than 25000

The Volkswagen Beetle, also known as the VW Bug, was first built in the late 1930s. The initial development of the Beetle started in the mid-1930s under the direction of Ferdinand Porsche. The car was designed to be affordable, practical, and reliable for the average German citizen. The first production models of the Beetle rolled off the assembly line in Germany in 1938. However, due to the outbreak of World War II, production was halted, and the Beetle was primarily used for military purposes during the war. After the war ended, production resumed, and the Beetle became popular worldwide, eventually becoming one of the most iconic and recognizable cars in history. South America was still producing the "Bug" long after the United States no longer had it.
That's why I still daily drive my 1962 bug. It runs excellently, and when it breaks, I fix it!
I'll consider buying an ev when they're under $20k, charge in
The future cars will probably run on hydrogen fuel and that’s why Toyota isn’t convinced the future is EVs.
I can't sleep at night worrying about my carbon footprint
Lol :)
No byds in your list??
Hi there, thanks for your suggestion, we will consider it next time.
30k is a ****load of money
I want to inform you that cars don't have to be electric to be 100% green, cars can use a type of fuel called "hemp fuel" which is 100% green, it is revolutionary and Henry Ford made a car that could run 100% on hemp fuel, but of course there is a reason why it hasn't become normalised. By the way, electric cars are about control, they want you to be dependent, controlled and weak. Please study hemp fuel for a couple of minutes and tell your friends and family about it, sharing this info also helps. Cannabis or hemp is the miracle plant, which can be turned into paper, ropes, clothes, cotton, insulation, concrete, wood, fuel, a plastic like material, and it can replace normal fuel, plastics and a lot of other materials, it can be used as a medicine, but also as a drug, it is said that cannabis has over 25 000 uses. .
Sounds like you smoked a little too much of it! 😂. Srsly. EV allows YOU to control your own destiny. I’m on my second, and charge at home off of my solar array. Gasoline, diesel, and your unicorn piss fuel are not the way.
@@Chris-bg8mk you preach a false narrative.... im not condoning the use of hemp... BUT YOU NEED TO DO SOME EDUCATED RESEARCH ON EVs... EVs are not green! You are just making the the oligarchs RICHER!
Ford Focus EV? I don't see it on the Ford website, what you talking about Willis?
Who says the abbreviation for torque as LBFT? Everything is the perfect choice, regardless of range, acceleration or top speed?
This is by far the worst video on EVs I have seen. It says NOTHING. According to this, everything is pretty much the same. Stupid.
When can we have small EV cars?.... Sizes that fit Wigo, Toyota... :)
Pretty soon)
I would get the ioniq.
Only one starting around 23,000.
Dacia Spring is the cheapest electric car, my friend!
What is the car in the thumbnail please?
Hyundai Ioniq 5
What about the Fiat 500 EV?
Not available to purchase in the USA atm.
Stupid Iconic is $55k now in Canada
I would just like one about the size of a 2023 Golf 4dr hatchback with 0-60 in >6.0Sec, top speed of a hundred or a bit more and an honest range of 200 miles. The problem is that I need it to be
I want a pony and a baby elephant.
Yeah I think if you have a price range you need to be thankful for what's on the market in the price.
1:56 I like this part of the video.
Thanks!
I don’t believe we are going to going this route in anyone’s lifetime if your around my age, 51. I think it’s like when the cd player came out in early 1980’s. $700.00 for a player and CDs were like $26.00 I believe!
True!
and cds are now extinct...
lack of chargers ... long waiting time to charge
i want the soul ev or the volvo x30.....
Use comparable specs not marketing hype!

Affordable??? Most EV's are in the 40-50K range, add some options and prices quickly go up to 60K...
Hyundai cannot build enough cars, they get booked in 15 minutes in Australia, ridiculous!!
Interesting!
Km please
Electric cars have no engine, no engine power transmission system, and no engine cooling system. They are like empty cans having batteries.
Any electric car must be priced at less than $10,000.
Great ' machine , low than oil .
My friend just bought Neeson $41,000
Cool!
Any vehicle with less than 150 mile range should bot cost more than 25K!
Watch UA-cam video on the new silencer that removes all harmful emissions only water vapour is released into the atmosphere regards Graham Flowers
Electric Muscle Cars are not cars. They are APPLIANCES!!!!!!
It sounds like this was written and recorded by an AI
GONE ARE THE DAYSOF BEAUTIFUL HORSE AND BUGGY ANYONE FOR AMISH RIDE?😂
chevy bolt will be discontinued in 2024,,,,,,,,,,, but 2024 chevy blazer ss $66k dollars,
$23000 is not cheap, bro
The American EV industry is suffering. Manufactures should make EVs that are more affordable. Ford is feeling the pain while KIA is selling more EVs. It makes me Sad!
Agree!
Chinese 🇨🇳 🚘👈-- Cars are the best!@👌👍
That Toyota is a 2021 model as the plate shows.things have changed now.toyota have stopped making e.v cars.
Polish Electric car izera production started in 2024 Jaworzno
Criminals better start collecting combustion engine cars and storing them. How long until the police of the future get the ability to run your plate and disable your connected electric cars.
Tin foil hat material.
Very cool but most people I think want electric that can go at least 300 miles & engine for back up for $35,000 & up.
Thanks for the comment!
Continuing to grow? Manufacturers and dealers are dropping these cremation wagons like stones.
Ford electric car is very danger. Ford use SK battery. I was battery engineer of SK.
These prices are a joke. NZ MSRP for literally every car you've mentioned is about 10K on top of everything you've said (after conversion) Either we are getting Massively ripped off (possible) or your prices are BS.
We listed prices for base models that we found online.
Clown cars are the cheapest squish your butt in there.😅
MINING LITHIUM FOR EV BATTERIES UNSUSTAINABLE ACCORDING TO STUDIES
As the push for more EVs increases lithium demand some believe 100% EV use is a potential environmental nightmare
Maybe it may become more eco-friendly in the future, who knows!
why are these all SUVs 😴😴e
Update yourself. EVs are now start from 4500$. You heard it right. When you start from 23k$. That's no good. This is 2023, era of EVs start here. No one buys a 23k EV now
The Chinese have cheaper and better options hope Trump doesn't get elected I love to buy a zeeker x
Agree with you!
Ok these cars are ugly ducklings the cheap ones
I wouldnt buy an electric car at any price
EVs are useless in Canada. Especially in the winter.. How does one travel long distances when you can only get 200 miles on a charge and it takes 45 -60 minutes. On top of this all the insurance for these vehicles is estimated as approx double to that of comparable combustion engine vehicles. Put these vehicles where the sun doesn't shine.
Who needs teslas when America will have kIA for the average cats
Horse and buggy does the same thing .
