But SHE is the reason I follow and become BAND MAID fan. When you Stop video exactly Her turn and mentioned Her, it made me really happy ( and also sad at the same time, Ikw). Thank you. Before this song was released, to be honest I didn’t know what to do with IT. I know this is her creation and dream, but just me that how much I can accept this song. Thanks from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

I loved the two shots of Miku by herself, first with the beautiful backup vocals and then by herself playing that "Flappy Pigeon" the no one else playing the song made you realize the melodic wall of sound that ran throughout the entire song was Miku's work. She provided the canvas that allowed the other artists to apply their creative strokes to the song.
Great reaction and well said as a fan of both bands (as am I). I think fans here for only one of the bands would benefit and enjoy diving in to the other band's music.
A really nice analysis that I can only agree with on all points, because we all probably had similar thoughts/concerns. How would these two very different heavyweights of the genre be able to put up a fair and even fight? But boy, did they go head-to-head without a clear loser in the end. A pairing that acted with respect at eye level and completely evenly matched, and who obviously had a lot of fun with the whole thing. The result? The secret of the structure of this song is through the genius that is Kanami, in the composition and arrangement. It's in more of the style of The Warning but with some of the instrumentation Band-Maid. Oh yes, and a fairly typical Band-Maid style video. All in all, everyone should be happy with final result. Remember, in the past some collaborations have been dogs dinner shockers.
Funny that TW fans think it is a 100% BM song, and BM fans thinks is a TW song.. me as a TW fan also feel is a BM song.. I think the only ones that can really tell are the 50-50 fans similar to this channel reactor that knows very well each band. For me it can be the high pitch voice or tone I can hear here that I can instantly relate it to BM or other Japanese bands. An even if you could relate this to a TW song in terms of hooks, TW usually change them from one chorus to the other.. I mean, you can tell where in the song you are in a TW song, sorry not a musician to exactly point what Im trying to say, but here the hook part feels like it was meant to be the same every time, in a way just to justify this collab. If you pay attention, BM took more care into writting their instruments parts, knowing they know how to kill it that way, but leaving out the things we like about TW, obviously this was mainly written by BM guitarrist. So even if BM fans see this more like a TW song in the attemp BM did to incorporate TW style, we as TW fans know it really doesnt feel like a TW song. BM can be excellent in playing instruments, composition and all that.. but for me TW just shines with an smoother feel and level not really explicit here and there but as a whole.. I can be fan of BM, but I know I wont never feel what I want by listening them, I just like the fact they respect each other and they both have their fans that loves them.

I follow both of these bands and this was an amazing collaboration, they meshed perfectly. So much talent in one place is incredible. They show so much respect for each other, and they are fans of each other, as well as friends. I think MISA ending the song with those bass notes was a shout-out to Ale for her ending bass notes in "Survive" but that's just my thoughts.
When I think the human species is past the point of rescue I watch this video. Knowing that there’s 8 super models who are writing and playing some of the best music in history it gives me hope. The fact that they all seem to like/love each other is a bonus. Magnificent work and art in this video. And Akane is the most talented and creative drummer I’ve seen in the last 60 years.

I think this is very valuable because this was not a management project, but something that the girls met in the U.S., developed a friendship, and made it happen while respecting each other. I know some of your fans are critical, but I was very impressed with what you said about "Willing to open your mind and listen to the music to see what they're trying to do." We should not easily criticize or deny something just because it is different from our expectations. If you call yourself a fan, you should warmly support these women with an open heart. In the first place, shouldn't we understand that this video was created after the girls consulted with each other, improved what they didn't like, and agreed with each other? I have seen some aggressive comments and I too have become a bit emotional. I personally do not intend to attack anyone. I apologize if anyone was offended by my comments.
This video screams "Girl Power!". What a collab!!!!!!!! Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Power Couple" in rock. Why, because a lot more people will start paying attention to them after this video is released on a wider basis. I was at the show in Japan! It waa phenomenal. They were not competing, they were celebrating each ither! The affection and respect fir each ither was on such display, which made me cry.
First, I want to say, your reactions are the best I have experienced so far. Playing all the way through without interruptions first and then going back afterwards for the reaction is something all the other reactors should learn to do. I'm glad this collaboration happened, as it will give more exposure for both bands and that's a good thing. Both bands are very talented and not as well-known as they should be. I have been listening to mostly rock music since the 1960's and was searching for classic to listen to when Band-Maid showed up on the list. So, I thought, what are they doing here, and out of curiosity I gave them a listen. I was completely blown away just how good they sounded, and now they are my favorite band. I found The Warning the same way I found Band-Maid and a lot of Japanese bands also. To me, The Warning, "a Mexican band" better suites my style of music than any of the other all-female Japanese bands. Band-Maid is still my favorite of these two bands, mainly because I prefer Saiki's strong feminine voice over Danny's strong macho sounding voice. Both bands are excellent, but I think the Band-Maid ladies are a little better with their instruments also. I just hope Band-Maid doesn't try to follow other Japanese female bands with full blown metal. Not a fan of extreme metal with screaming and growling, it just sounds too evil and angry to me. I'll stick with Band-Maid if they stay with the music are doing now.
Terrific commentary! Yeah, I was wondering how they were going to pull this off as well, but damned if the didn't. I agree that hopefully this will inspire fans to cross over more. For me it started at Aftershock '22, when I first learned of the two bands' mutual admiration. I checked out TW more, and since Show Them, that interest just keeps growing.
This video should, by all rights, become a mainstream sensation. There’s nothing about it that isn’t attractive to a broad range of people. Brilliant visuals, with 8 very attractive young women who also are legit musicians. A song that displays that high level musicianship but is also catchy and accessible. Last, but not least the great vocals, and harmonies, all in English, with a powerful, and positive, message.
I'm looking forward to another collaboration between them featuring Pau and Miku trading off lead vocals 😁. This one is certainly not the best by either band, but I'm pleasantly surprised that it works as well as it does.

Try changing the VIDEO resolution to 1080. Found out the audio mix changes with the video resolution. The mix opens up, vocals are less pronounced, and the instrumentals come thru more.

I am trying to figure out who is singing backup underneath Saiki and Dany...I don't think it is Miku. Also, I have heard the isolated guitars...Kanami is just brilliant. But after a few listens, that Miku lead vocal in the beginning and the rhythm guitar coming out if the battles are my favorite. 🕊️⚡🎶
Theres actually 7 solos after pau everyone drops out its just miku guitar with danni n saiki for like 4 bars maybe , miku has the longest solo of the whole song
She is the founder and heart of the host band. She can stand on her own contribute when she feels it is appropriate because she gets the utmost respect and doesn't have or need a counterpart. 🕊
This is the only song from bandmaid that i didnt listen to bcoz i dont want to listen to the warning the most overrated band of all time,, the warning is the band without any talent at all, their music is just some fucking lame guitar riffs and power chords, elementary bass lines and some very basic drumming ,, the warning.is just garbage a thrash, their music sucks..
I don’t like them as much as Band-Maid because I prefer Band-Maid’s prog tendencies, and the possibilities that having 5 members open up, but calling The Warning talentless is absurd.

Alan/Dicodec did an AI isolation of the vocals and it sounds like Miku to me.

This is the only song from bandmaid that i didnt listen to bcoz i dont want to listen to the warning the most overrated band of all time,, the warning is the band without any talent at all, their music is just some fucking lame guitar riffs and power chords, elementary bass lines and some very basic drumming ,, the warning.is just garbage a thrash, their music sucks..
