      Willie, yours is the only reasonable comment on here. Everyone commenting seems to think that meeting hate with hate is good, when it only makes them just as hateful and intolerant as the folks they're complaining about. - Some white people hate black people. Some black people hate white people. That's just how it is, and how it will always be. Why bother addressing it? That only gives BOTH sides a bigger stage to preach their hate. - There is no point in trying to change a made-up mind. Let them think whatever they want to think. Making a big deal that not everybody thinks the way "you" think only makes matters worse. Let the racists be racist. Fuck 'em. I sure as shit don't care what anyone, black or white, in Charlottesville thinks about me, and nor should anyone else. Those people, on both sides, could have easily been spending their time more wisely. There are always lawns to be mowed, dishes to be cleaned, floors to be swept, neighbors to help, books to be read, children to raise, and so on. How can so many of us neglect what is actually important just to go scream at people that we already know don't like us? - Anyway, I'm rambling at this point. Have a good night, Willie. Peace and love to you, good sir.

      C D TRUMP is a racist. He questioned wheater OBUMA was even born in USA claiming he was born in Kenya. To attack obama on that front is racist as hell by delegitimizing the first non white president without any proff or evidence.

    • @commandercorner5575
      @commandercorner5575 6 років тому +2

      Tav Tav ...not only was Trump not the one who initiated that rumor, it's not racist to question the legitimacy of the president. We have laws governing who can and cannot be elected to office. The fact that the rumor was spread instilled doubt in MANY Americans minds as to his legitimacy, and the fact that Trump gave credence to the rumor doesn't make him racist, it makes him gullible.

    • @Rawk4Life
      @Rawk4Life 6 років тому +2

      Okay Tav. With that logic, Obama is equally wrong for claiming that John McCain wasn't a natural born U.S. Citizen in 2008 by stating that being born on an American military base in Panama, doesn't count as being a natural American. And, is also an age-ist by saying McCain was "too old" to qualify for the Presidency. Also, Obama's father is Kenyan, and since he technically never furnished a legit birth certificate proving that he was born in the United States, it's not racist to bring it into question.

      Gabriela Centurion Neumann This is the only thing I had to disagree with in the video. Ignoring it is pretty bad yes, but there would be nothing to ignore if no one was supporting it. It is all just a load of crap that we have this stuff to talk about.

    • @GabrielaCenturionNeumann
      @GabrielaCenturionNeumann 6 років тому +17

      Yog Sosoth But it does exist. Will it disappear if you just ignore it? Doing something about it doesn't always imply going to protests and such. You can acknowledge it exists and try to fight it with education as well. Teaching by example and trying to change it one person at a time makes a difference as well.

      Jimmy would have never had to say these things if we had a respectable President like Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, and even Rick, I can't remember the three branches of government I want to eliminate, Perry.
      I say this having fully supported Bernie in the primary and Hillary in the election. I say this because I am a flesh and blood American who believes people who embrace the American spirit should be protected...

    • @GabrielaCenturionNeumann
      @GabrielaCenturionNeumann 6 років тому +3

      Yog Sosoth I understand what you mean. Yes, supporting it is worse in the sense that you are actively doing bad in the world. But ignoring it is passively doing bad in the world. I think it comes down to whether we contribute to the problem or we try to make a change :) I wish you a lovely rest of the week!

      Dunovan Cook it's not that, the reason people are hating on this is because he didn't acknowledge that the left groups like BLM for instance has been doing this for quite a while and they were never acknowledged of it. The divisiveness is in the people who claim they stand for equality yet can't accept it when terrorist groups such as antifa are recognized as the source of some violence.

    I am appalled by what has happened. How people are so unable to see past the colour of people skin baffles me. Why does skin tone defy who we are. What we're like. I will never understand how people go to such lengths to shame others. Why do we have to be in separation. Why can't we all be together and happy. I'll never EVER understand racism, why our skin , race, religion etc changes who we are as people. One day in the future I hope that we all live with love and kindness and acceptance in our hearts. We are all human. We all are equal, we should all be treated with respect.

      She may not know much, but she is entitled to an opinion. Twelve years old or a hundred. This is her world(and possible country), what happens here and now affects her as much, if not more, than you. You've got less time on this Earth than her, and whatever we do now will affect what happens to her in the future and for much longer than it will ever affect you. Don't degrade her simply because she's 12. If you're from America and you dislike what she's saying, well then, I please ask you to remember that this is America, we are allowed freedom of speech and thought, even 12 year olds.

      Ok let me explain something to you. Jimmy is standing for
      equality but he immediately divides things right back up again by basically
      indicating that if you stand by Trump, you're a racist, homophobic bigot that
      needs educating. This because Trump simply denounced both sides of a violent
      situation. All that the Trump supporters are trying to show is that AntiFa (the
      group protesting) have problems of their own, violence and destruction of
      private property being among them. Therefore, we should in NO WAY be praising
      them as heroes. Honestly, it's simple to understand if you don't let yourself
      become so one dimensional.

I have been denied of a job and a place to stay because of my race..my daughter shouldnt have been denied a piece of paper to make a kite with the other kids because of her race.. I had to leave the place because of what was said after he wouldn't give her paper.. this was 2011.. my situation was in the 80s.. my other daughter was just walking with her dog in the pet store and a lady and her child were there.. her child wanted to play with the dog but the mother said stay away from her kind, meaning my daughter because she is black.. seems they TRYING to start a race war to me with this Charlottesville mess.. I don't hate whites because of what happened either.. I don't hate anyone and try to live at peace with others, no matter the color or religion.. I applaud Jimmy for saying something because this is not right.. It's 2017 dammit 😭

      Alabama:(( I went to an alternative school back in the 80s with blacks, white, exchange students.. it was great to me.. before in elementary school, just black students.. those experiences that I had after high school set me aback and I said is this what the world really like because for the most part I never saw racism at school.. maybe I had my head in the clouds so I didn't see it but I never saw that... well because of how I talk and the type of music I listen to I get it from both sides.. from some of my own race, I and my child get why do you talk like that.. you "sound" white.. from the white side I get when I tried to get that apt, I called the number in the paper and said how much and such.. he told me how much but then said I don't rent to blacks because they listen to loud music and asked me was I black.. well I don't "sound" black on the phone initially I guess.. the job issue there was an ad in the paper for the job and I was qualified and they asked me for an interview.. I go in and the lady said you have the experience but the owner doesn't want "blacks" on the front line.. in other words, he wanted blacks to cook the food.. I'm sorry, I'm trying to forget that happened.. I politely told her I'm sorry but I don't want the job then.. why should I be where someone doesn't want me.. that's why I didn't argue with the man about the apt and didn't argue about the job.. I forgot to say that my daughter and her friends were riding through an affluent neighborhood and were pulled over and told you are in the wrong neighborhood aren't you.. it was a night so maybe they would assume they would try to break into someone's house or something.. also at a Walmart here a black lady was accused of taking someone's purse.. but it wasn't her it was someone else and the owner of the purse tried to tell the police that but they had the black lady on the ground and everything... I think she had a lawsuit against the city of where that Walmart was.. it was very embarassing for her I'm sure.. I had a dress for my mom that I bought at another store that had nothing to do with the mall I was in and it had the tags still on it.. I was trying to find some shoes to match the dress and just had them out o the bag.. well the alarm went off and a little white kid said she is stealing and I turned around and said THESE ARE MINE I DIDN"T GET THEM FROM HERE.. I had my receipt and everything... long story short, I get it from both sides but it hurts the most when it's a black and white thing:((( I watched mtv growing up so I guess I'm not black enough and not white enough because I like different music...music is music to me.. the artist may be of a certain color of maybe an instrument from another country represents that country and we HAVE to have genres of music but music really to me has no color.. I wish people would just stop and think about that.. again I don't hate anyone:((

      sorry but I forgot to tell about when my daughter bought a used car from a guy that her friend knew..her friend was black and the car owner was white. he didn't have a problem with her buying it but another white man in the neighborhood did.. when she went to pick it up, he was calling her the n word and people told her don't respond.. that made him more mad that he came and broke the mirror on the car she just bought.... still she didn't respond... they are very bad here.. they had the church bombing here in my city where 4 little black girls lost their lives a long time ago... it's terrible the hatred I'm seeing.. it makes me want to run away because I can't stand conflict of any kind and I try to make matters right... why such hatred is beyond my comprehension.. she worked with white people and got along with them.. she doesn't hate whites because of what's going on.. why do they hate us.. we did nothing to them:((((

      he said in many statements that he didn't want to denounce them immediately because he knew that if he got one fact wrong, the media would be all over his ass, and now that he waited and really examined what happened, the media still bashed him for being incompetent to denounce them immediately. This event really goes to show not only were both sides were the cause of this that being alt right white supremacist, but also the alt left extremists that came in and legit started beating people with bats, sure the alt right are racist but not all of them were, many of them were marching in what they believed in and the fact that a statue of history shouldn't be taken down. The alt right ever had a PERMIT to protest and they were very peaceful about it, now just because i said that doesn't make a Nazi hating white male, but if the alt left extremists didn't intervened with fucking base ball bats and start bashing people with them, then none of this would have happened. and so the protest would go on and they would have spoken there mind about why they didn't what the statue gone and a park renamed. but guess who is always there to make something more worse than it is....

    Thank you Jimmy for being courageous to stand up for what is right, honorable and peaceable. I had to have this talk with my 4 children last night. They were frightened. They've asked hard questions that I couldn't find the answers to in order to comfort them. Questions like, "are my white friends going to hate me now because I'm different?, or my three-year-old asking me "Mommy are the bad people coming to hurt us?" or my son who is 11yrs old asked "what about daddy?" who is a colored Hispanic man. All I can say is that God made us all the same and not one race is better than another. I told them that God loves different things and that is we don't have only one type of flower or animal or people in the world. Diversity IS a beautiful thing. At the end of this deep and emotional conversation, my children and I wept and prayed for a change to happen in the heart of our president and the likes. Thank you again, Jimmy, for your support of the voiceless.

      Did you have to console your children after the Dallas sniper incident too or is your fear only reserved for the big bad Conservatives? I guess you haven't been paying attention but those who have know that at least in recent times in America violence is almost exclusive to the left. There are outside incidents like this but they're incredibly rare. But to sit here and paint it as if white nazis are going to come after your kids is absolutely ridiculous and deceptive.

    • @mimitovar7335
      @mimitovar7335 6 років тому +2

      Damien INSANO my fear is not who is doing the hate but the hate itself. Hate is not confined to one race but some live out their hatred more than others. Hate won't stop until blood is spilled. Hate is another word for sin. Sin does not stop until it destroys a life or multiple lives. Doesn't matter if you're a consersavative, liberal, black, white, hispanic or any other ethnic. Sin does not descriminate what kind of blood is being spilled. Sin is what causes division. But I guess you haven't been paying attention. I pray that one day you will.

If you even give racists the time of day to hate on them or even assault them you make them feel more impowered. We literally have to ignore racists, we need to stop grouping everyone by skin color because people are people, good and bad we need to just forgot the cosmetics and just be good people. Our service members put bullets in the heads of Nazi's in WWII. Trump didn't denounce shit until he was forced to. In fact, the Nazi's and KKK applauded his first response. Electing a reality show joke (Donald Trump) to lead the nation has people around the world laughing at Americans. Trump never speaks from facts. He is a pathological liar. It wasn't the timeliness of his response. Only one-side needed to be denounced..the racists / Nazi pieces of shit that murdered and attempted to murder other Americans. You are deplorable attempting to defend your mentally ill President.

      There's a group of nazis and white supremacists trying to absolve themselves of their guilt. Anyone that says 'both sides are to blame here' is literally sympathizing with nazis. There's no 'everyone is bad' when nazis take to the streets with torches and run over living breathing humans with their cars.

      Hating on white supremacists and nazis is bigotry and hate in itself.
      It was a peaceful demonstration, and the leftists counter-demonstration is what incited the violence. If the leftists would honour everybody's freedom of speech and expression, this wouldn't have happened.
      It's intolerance and self-righteousness that caused this sad situation.

      NerdOverlord yes he did, he specifically called out Trump when the President did nothing wrong. How is it so wrong for Trump to say both sides are to blame? It's a fact, both radical leftists and alt-right extremists engaged in acts of violence. He did this probably because he was told to by the liberal higher-ups. It was disingenuous. You can't just pick and choose when you wanna stand up to hate. If he truly cared, he would've used his voice after the cop killings in Dallas last summer during the BLM protest, after the mentally handicapped boy in Chicago was kidnapped and tortured by black kids for being white, and after white people were being pulled out of their cars and beaten by black supremacists in Milwaukee at the end of last summer. Maybe then I would believe he is sincere. But that didn't happen, now did it? Sorry but extremism and hate is not a trait unique to the right side of the political spectrum. Only way our country will heal is if we acknowledge and attempt to fix the violence and dangerous rhetoric on both sides of the aisle. It's time to be honest

      Kristen Jett I live in Canada nd I thank God that I do.yes we do have our problems,tho health care in my experience isnt one,but we aren't on the verge of seemingly tearing ourselves apart , violently(yes we've gone through not 1 but2 separation referendums in&from Quebec)nor do we have flag waving nazis openly parading through the streets and people applauding that .tho thankfully I see there were all those counter protests against white supremacy..so there's ,a bit of, hope for your country.Btw I'm not knee jerk anti American ,I like or used to like your country,am Independent/right of centre.

      Kristen Jett - I live in Canada, and he's right. He also wasn't implying that Canada is perfect. We have our issues, but there not even remotely close to the shitstorm in the U.S.

    Props to Jimmy for breaking his persona in this instance. Whether it was him personally or the result of a writers' room meeting---this is a class act move. And it's wholly apart from the usual MO.

      @Cringe2Win Correct. But you know his dopey persona crap he does on his abysmal show is all an act, right? Guy IRL isn't really like that

      gimmethedetails Let me break it down for you. When you click on a video, you give it a view. More views equals more possibilty to show on the trending list which alot of people look at. There, simple. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

    • @cupcakewithouttheicing
      @cupcakewithouttheicing 6 років тому

      Jheterrior It really doesn't. It's an algorithm. The reason stuff from the left side, as you say, is trending is because I find there are more people from the left side on UA-cam

    • @cupcakewithouttheicing
      @cupcakewithouttheicing 6 років тому

      Jheterrior That's true. I don't *understand* the algorithm but it is one. I doubt anyone goes out of their way to handpick those videos and if they did it is unlikely that they would pick the ones that trend sometimes

    "We cannot go backwards" Jimmy that is so true. We must stand up hand in hand and face evil/hatred and tell it leave that it has no place in America. We must do it, we have to do it, we have to show evil/hatred that we will not accept it or not do anything about as a country. This is our home, we have to protect it, but we have to do it peacefully, you can't fight evil with evil you must fight it with good; you can't fight hatred with hatred you must fight it with love.
