@@bluepikmin6363 There migth be examples of other characters pulling off something crazy like this in a cutscene, or as a context sensitive QTE/button prompt, but I can't of the top of my head think of another example, where anything this bombastic would just be a readily accessible part of a character's moveset.
Just realized when Nero uses showdown he does the same thing when going for the sword in the buildup, has his hand waiting near the handle to pick it up and slash. Pretty dope

Well previously Vergil could only do JCE in DT mode so it wouldn't be surprising if he quickly switched to DT then back.
