Katrina was my wake up call when I became serious about becoming a prepared citizen. It's been quite the trip and I'm not at my final destination yet.
In my personal opinion I believe most of us have higher chance of getting a heart attack than getting into a fire fight. Don't get me wrong playing with these "tools" is really fun. I'm going to focus on being fit enough to walk/run back home with my gear.
No need to apologize for lack of military experience, sir. In my 20 year career in the Air Force I was an Avionics Tech. I did learn to shoot and maintain the M-16 quite well, but that was the extent of my “weapons” training. As a US Citizen, you are as bound to the defense of this nation as those of us who took the oath. Here’s a great quote I found just today on the topic of the relevance of the 2nd Amendment: “Because it is my duty and responsibility as an American citizen to possess the means (and to be competent with those means) to deter or even (should the need arise) to resist tyranny by my own government.”
I have to say, your honest openness about this approach versus the “I know everything, I’m John Rambo” attitude, “oh you didn’t know that, what a moron” nonsense just made your channel jump about a thousand points in my book. I’ll be recommending this channel to people again, and more now. Thank you PW!

It is amazing what even prepared people can learn from others.
A lot of my family and friends seem like that they don't think anything is going to happen so they are not trying to prepare. Everyone so busy with life and work. But it's all I think about is trying to prepare and hone my skills.

Nice to see so many coming to the harsh reality of todays world. Things are getting crazy. Long time prepper myself, start to form a community to help each other when and if things go bad. If you prepare and nothing happens you have lost nothing, if you don't and thing go sideways you lose everything. God bless the Republic.

Looking forward to this, Minuteman, Grey man, Urban survival skill sets, We can get so proficient in woodland skills that we loose focus on the other environment we are involved with. I makes sense to know what to do and how to prepare since this environment can change overnight.

New here and glad I found ya honestly. You'll do great with a minuteman lineup for sure. You'll lose subscribers only due to the name in general I almost gurentee. For some reason minutemen/ militia / insert whatever word similar scare some away, but run with it due to it being your right and duty as a prepared citizen and I agree 100%.

I'm interested to see where you take things. I've enjoyed your gear reviews in the past and knew you were into bush craft, which only the basics really are needed for urban prepping/survival. I've specialized in urban awareness and survival. I think you'll do fine and will enjoy you're new training and adventures.

I don't see us bugging out, I hope not. We need plenty of food and water mainly, I have plenty of weapons and my wife can kill a deer at 500 yards with iron sights. But I got her a decent scope now.
I personally had to make a decision what kind of guns to buy, what kind of ammo, what kind of portable generator, what kind of knives and even my getaway vehicle to shower bags to rain gear to water filters. I just went with it. No going to question myself on getting two Jackery 1000, not going to question the Mossberg hunting rifle or the Smith & Wesson M&P15 or even the stripped down cargo truck with no features but it can haul 9,000 lbs and I can live in it. I've done all I could with food and growing seeds and even my own clothing line and extra shoes and tons of soap.
Hey Wanderer I have always enjoyed your vids thanks for that and I think you should be prepared to protect your self but full tactical gear is a little to far for me
You should have started a new channel and given people the choice to go to your new channel and choice to change thanks for sharing what you have chosen to take your channel

Axes, knives, newest guns, flint and steel is all fun and games but ultimately useless. Growing food, canning, exercise and continuing a livelihood are all more important. Did you bail from stock market or buy defense stocks and Home Depot? Help you community where you live don’t hide.
