Dishwashers are very user friendly. dishwasher use maximum 400/- worth of electricity, salt, detergent and Rinse Aid in a month. You can simply remove food from the plates and place them in dishwasher but in such a case you will have to clean the filters every month. If you rinse the plate before placing it in the dishwasher, it's filters and spray arms will NEVER require cleaning. Dishwasher gives you sparkling clean utensils, which are 100% dry. Dishwasher use less than 1/3 water as compared to hand cleaning.

LG is a very formidable dishwasher. it's built quality is very good and it has very good capacity to wash utensils. I had bought LG in October 2019 but returned it with full refund (After long legal steps). Reason for return was simple. When power goes in mid of a cycle, the cycles does not start from the last stage but get unduly extended. If there were more than one power outage, the wash cycle got extended for even longer duration. While dealing with this particular problem, I came across some complaints about failure of heater in dishwasher. Luckily, my dishwasher also suffered with heater failure problem. As LG has 2 years warranty, I took steps to return it after using it for around 15 months. Page 24 of the LG manual specifically says that in event of power failure, the cycle would restart from the last stage but it never happened. I went on to buy a dishwasher, which I presume has matchless features. It was Voltas Beko DF14S2. It did cost me 38000/- (Saving 10000/- as compared to LG). Voltas Beko has rare inverter motor (like LG), which saves energy to great extent. None of the cycle in Voltas use more than one unit of electricity. Voltas has matchless 4 sprays. One revolving spray at the top of the dishwasher, second spray, below the upper rack, third spray below the lower rack and a fourth spray (called - Aqua Intense) below the third spray. Aqua Intense spray pushes hot water jets with 5 times the normal power o clean any type of utensil with toughest stains. Voltas comes with 10 years warranty on dishwasher and 12 years warranty on motor. Voltas has 38 very helpful cycles which clean utensils very nicely. If your city has dependable power supply, you can continue with LG, a very formidable dishwasher.

@@ss-ki3oo all the dishwashers can handle power hardness till 900. You can get the level of water hardness measured by the technicians of water purifier. Voltas Beko can also maintain water hardness till 900.

No, aluminium and iron are not recommended in dish washer..
I wanted to buy BOSH but that time no latest model waz available in BOSH and old models i didn't want to buy . This model of LG came with steam function and this was latest one so i bought it .
But not much difference ..my sister is using BOSH Dishwasher and she is also happy with the product .so chose brand according to your requirement and budget

I am facing few problems with my godrej dishwasher and i hope u can help solve it...have u ever cleand melamine plates? I can see dry water splash marks only on melamine plates..it happens every other day.not all,but few plates show that but steel always comes out clean..steel and any glass show soapy bubble after dishwashed..i have to hand wash it again with plain water..i use very little soap and rinse aid is also not there. My water is soft so i cant understand whats goin wrong..did u ever notice the soapy bubble when u fill water in the glass after dishwashing it?

I have recently bought a dishwasher. It is a waste for Indian cooking. I have 14 plate one and I can just fit one pressure cooker and one milk cooker. I use a 5 ltr pressure cooker for dal and rice and a 2 ltr pressure pan for sabzi and mixie jar for chutney. You can't put mixie jar inside dishwasher wnd I can fit only one pressure cooker. I have still get my maid to was half the vessels.
It will take time to understand how to put Max utensils in your dishwasher

@@SmitarawatsKITCHEN The dishwasher doesn't clean burnt vessels. Your electricity bill shoots up. Any machine that heats or cools will take up more electricity. Our apartment has back up power , I can't use AC, geyser, iron box and the washing machine/ Dishwasher if it is in hot water mode. So that means all these appliances consume great amounts of electricity.

Check the amount of dishwasher detergent that you are adding. Usually all dishwashers have a marking for half load and full load detergent quantity. You can reduce the quantity of detergent if you are using Finish.

Discard aluminium vessels as soon as possible. Aluminium is poisonous for health. It causes cancers and other health issues too. Shift to steel vessels or glass vessels

In case of power failure does it resume from where it stopped or starts the entire process again?
Not entire process again , just one step back.
My Bosch dishwasher went dead after some voltage problems within a week of buying it. And it is taking weeks for the burnt out Circuit board to get replaced. IT is under warranty and so it will take more time for the replacement to come the salesman says. When buying the machine from Croma the person never suggested buying the stabilizer but now only suggesting it.
If someone can offer any help I would welcome it. I now realise the dishwasher is a waste of money and time.

If you want to wash only plates that case in lower rack 28-30 plates but Generally we use half space for bigger utensil and half for plates and upper self for small cups bowls and spoons
Mam my observation is after completion of the dishwasher cycle the vessels give soapy / slimmy feeling.
I did one experiment. After completion of the dishwasher cycle I again started the short cycle without putting the detergent .
I opened the door and found that the bottom of the dishwasher was having lather this clearly indicates that the vessels had detergent coat on the surface of the vessels.
How to avoid this.
Adjust detergent quantity

This problem Generally happened when we use tablet .
Detergent quantity you can cantrol easily ..
I use ifb and have this issue. After main wash, i do another wash of 30mins and still see this lather which covers the top and bottom vessels. I use just optimum amount of detergent. probably it's the salt and rinse that is causing this issue
