Seen
In the stillness
Of our place of we
I come to you
Here among your
Vast greatness
I allow my heart
To settle into
Your presence
All of me surrendered
I utter my every
Sorrow
Regret
Worry
Concern
Heavy with the
Weight of guilt
Remorse
My spirit cries to you
Tell me all the things
I long to hear
Assure my heart
That I am not forgotten
That my failings mean
Nothing in the light of you
Instantly
You quickly
Calmly come
Quiet
Hush away
Inadequacy’s agony
In a moment’s breath
I am fully embraced
Surrounded by the
Verity of your voice
The reality of you
Ever so close
I am wrapped deep
In the warmth
Of your love
My every affliction
Silenced
Carried away
How wonderful
It is to be seen
Known
Loved by you
My very existence
Spirit given meaning
By the divine
Beaming
Gleam of you
