  • Hi guys! I’m so excited for this weeks video and to share with you a facial product that I have been loving for my rosacea and sensitive skin. It is the Paulas choice exfoliating solution with 2% salicylic acid. I have been using this liquid exfoliant from Paulas choice for several months now and it has completely changed my skin/life! It’s perfect for those with sensitive and rosacea prone skin. Please let me know if you have tried this or if you have tried a product similar! Thanks for watching ❤️

Paula’s Choice makes such amazing products! I relate to the rosacea struggle so much, I have eczema prone and oily combination skin. It’s a tricky balance to not flare up the eczema while keeping my oils and pores under control. Eczema products are usually more suitable for dry skin, however my face is mostly oily. Finding the right products is key!

I too find that exfoliants tend to irritate my skin as I have sensitive skin. I've only ever tried those that are abrasive, so maybe I'll have to give this one a shot! Thanks for sharing your experience :).

Most of the time they recommend not using chemical exfoliants, and actives like Retinol and vitamin C if Rosacea as people who has Rosacea also has sensitive (sensitized) skin. And they now find besides being hereditary that people get Rosacea due to the gut like food allergies/tolerances and vitamin D deficiency… which I have plus Diabetes type 2. Pre Rosacea I had normal to combination dehydrated skin. My Rosacea is mainly the cheeks and eyes. As Rosacea is also an eye disease. To control and manage flare ups it’s really important to be on a Rosacea diet aka foods that doesn’t causes inflammation which Rosacea is. And you don’t even have to exfoliate twice a day, which seems excessive. I used to be like you, which actually led to contact dermatitis then Rosacea. Once or twice a week is enough if you got sensitive Rosacea skin.

How long does it last please and how often do you use it? My rosacea skin is SO dry! It’s oily too and a lot of moisturisers make me break out. It’s so bad for my skin but I use a loofah pad and scrub the dry skin off and make it so so red and it makes all the rosacea pustules appear again :( I need to find something else to moisturise my skin. I feel so uncomfortable with my red skin and so I feel like I need to wear CC cream. But it shows up all the dry skin so I keep scrubbing it.

I have your exact issue too! Can’t find anything at all that just works for my skin. It’s been years and so much money on skincare/treatments and my face is still deep red, constantly breaking out in those tiny pustules, dry soooo dry! Any foundation just shows it up. It’s so disheartening and isn’t it 💕

@@tammifoxton7035 Are you in the UK? Doctor prescribed me Rozex gel (metronidazole) which helped a lot and now they’ve not put me onto Lymecycline an oral antibiotic. My skin is a lot better now and I use CeraVe hydrating cleanser to wash my face with (sometimes aqueous cream or simple moisturising cleanser as I don’t have that much money to spend on skincare) I’ve stopped scrubbing and I use the aveeno oat gel moisturiser sometimes and ceva ve pm facial moisturising lotion (that one is more moisturising) I looked up things on Reddit and my skin has improved so much. I try change my pillow more often than usual also.

Whatever little knowledge that I have about skincare,I don't think it' a good idea to use salicylic on sensitive skin.
    It's meant for oily skin.
It might improve it initially but if you continue using it the rosacea is likely to get worsened.
