I'm surprised you didn't talk about Entrenched given the discussion about what you liked in other upgrade cards. It makes your Grit units monsters, giving potentially another shield, and up to 6 more power, and can be setup from nothing starting turn 2. If you don't have anything you want to put it on your side of the board, you can use it to stop your opponents card from slapping you in the face for a while.
