Thank you for sharing this 🙏🏾
Thanks so much for this. Extremely helpful 🎉❤🎉
I work for a third party medical billing company, I always recommend patients to look into financial assistance with the location of service where they were seen, most of our affiliates will honor these FA letters from the hospital.
Wish I had someone like you to speak to about some medical bills I'm fighting with now lol
@@dustinbono DM me, maybe I can help.
I’ve received financial assistance before and they only needed tax forms, but the 2 different hospitals want bank statements which was not needed before… any suggestions because I need that money to purchase a home?
@@bluehorseshoe5450 correct me if I'm wrong, so you don't want to turn in the statements because the amount you have (which is for the house) might exceed what qualifies you for financial assistance, correct? If so, that's a tough one, I hear they're not very flexible about that. Have you looked at cost share services?
@@bluehorseshoe5450 now, depending on the state, some states do specify that FA is available to low income residents with or without health ins, even if the ins covers a portion of the bill.
Sir I had some questions for you
But what if the dept went to collection what can I do
what would be considered proof of income? paystubs? or do I need something else?
That’s usually the best proof of income. They may ask for last set of paystubs or W-2 or last years tax returns
So when I'm filling out the financial aid form I see that they want my bank statements for both checking and savings.
They just can't go off my was.
I have money in my savings ONLY because I live in fear of the next massive catastrophic event thats bound to happen.
I’m in the exact same position… have you found out an answer or solution yet?
@@bluehorseshoe5450 I called the hospital and asked if I payed a portion of the bill today....would they considered it payed in full.
Without any hesitation or sympathy they simply said no. I Asked because I saw a video where someone got 30%off their bill by just asking.
In this case they wanted to be paid in full when I called. I told them that I have other places where I could spend 3100 dollars and set up a payment plan.
Please let me know how you make out.
Good luck.

@@bluehorseshoe5450 I’m in the same boat , I was wondering if you found any solutions??
@@SoundCastle00 Did you find any solution? I’m dealing with the same right now.
@@wickedmethods I'm on a payment plan for the full amount. Every month they generate a bill and send it out to me and I call up to make a payment over the phone making sure I try to waste their time as much as humanly possible. And everytime I call and physically speak with someone they always mention that I can use the automated service.....I always day no thanks
For yall to use:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to dispute a bill I recently received from your hospital. I believe that I am eligible for free or reduced-cost medical care, as I make less than 300% of the poverty line and your hospital is a non-profit organization.
As you may be aware, non-profit hospitals are required to provide a certain amount of charity care to patients who are unable to pay for medical treatment. According to my financial records, my income falls below the poverty line and I am unable to pay the bill you have sent me.
I kindly request that you review my financial records and adjust my bill accordingly. I would appreciate your cooperation in this matter and look forward to resolving this issue as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
Hi, can you tell me who should I send this letter to? Billing?
Lame
Damn, thanks Obama.
And if you like your doctor you will be able to keep him or her! Also the average American family will save $2500 per year with Obamacare. Lies all Lies.
Pretend you do not speak English and you won't get any medical bills.
Found the racist.
