@thaniusvingadorius5532 strongly recommend the F4S. I've uploaded several videos where I'm bombing in it and making ALOT of SL and RP if you want to see. Easily don't. Very worth it
The F-4 is simply more efficient and consistent for the average WT player in ARB games. You can carry a full loadout of A2A weapons which along with 2 1000lb and 2 napalm bombs for a almost guaranteed base drop with a relatively minor hit to flight performance. The F-5C is a very good plane, but the skill floor is much higher to get consistent results compared to bombing a base and slinging SARH missiles at whoever tries to go head on with you. I consider myself terrible at ARB and despise playing props or dogfighting jets like the Sabres or early Migs, but I have a 60% WR and about a 2.0 KD with the F-4S and have just reached rank 6 from reserve tier in 200 games.
Lets face it: All US top premium jets has at least 1 if not more serious handicaps! (same goes for the British premium jets but those still worse) For the F-4S one is the (lack of) gun; and even that SINGLE pod it can take is the worst, + no all aspect IR AAMs, no AGM or smart bombs. The F-5C is all low tech, and maxed out pilot skills are mandatory, + "under-engined" making barely supersonic, add any ground ordinance and flys like a bus. AV-8A has to sacrifice the middle hard point for countermeasures, lacks the double bomb rack of its British sisters, so it can't destroy a base, NOT a fighter, and very limited as CAS. A-10A slow as a super-prop on a supersonic BR, In air RB it has to wait for the targets to respawn since everything gonna beat it to them, even with clean wings it looses energy fast. A-6 has poor acceleration and climb rate, "locks up" at high speed, still no radar added to it, only smart bombs no AGM, no gun just crap gunpods, (inferior to the Su-25).
Yoooo sako! Early again! Although I don't think the F4S is worth it. Like you said, the F5C is a better plane. It will teach the new player a lot more about the game and it will move up to rank 7. In my opinion I don't think that the f4s is worth it. Keep up the excellent work though! I love watching your videos.
A respectable opinion for sure and that the F5C is a really good aircraft for dogfighting especially at its BR however I do believe that the F4S is a lot better when it comes to teaching the top tier mechanic utilizing heavily on radar and missile more than its gun, it comes a lot handy knowing how top tier gameplay works with the F4S. although I dont recommend both planes unless you understand what they are capable and not capable of, as I do suck flying the F5C as i am not proficient aiming the guns against super sonic jets compared to early gen 1 jets and prop plane though F4S learning curve is different knowing where enemy and using its radar while knowing how to position your self while maintaining lock and also learning to avoid radar guided missile and ir missile.

I happily dogfight Falcons and Fulcrums with mine. Trick is using combat flaps and not letting your energy drop, and by extention, finishing it quickly. I respect the sparrow, but against players that know what they are doing it will never reach them because they WILL break lock, and unlike the Mig-23's R24s, it cannot be reestablished. Sidewinder is more practical, if you stay under 1.5km to limit reaction time
A quick tip for the F4S is go for a flank charge while letting your team and enemy envelop in a dogfight then use the aim 7f with PD radar and choose the enemy thats facing in front of you or in a front angle view of you, always make sure if the enemy is movement direction, if they decide to turn sideways you will lose lock from PD and if you are facing there rear you will also lose lock from PD. You can immediately switch PD off but chances of your missile being chaffed is possible without PD. I also suggest sticking to low ground level to avoid radar guided missile having a proper lock on you and also be aware enemie high altitude from you can launch there missile above you without you knowing. Keep your speed up and dont engage a dogfight unless being forced upon and for weapon loadout I would prefer 4 aim7 and 4 aim9 however for my preference and experience the aim7 tend to get the job done better then the aim9 as your aim9 is a rear aspect missile and isnt as flare resistant especially in matches where everyone dump chaffs and flare all over the place your aim7 with PD will do most of the work.
@@simula152 I do know how to use it, I usually try to stay away from the fur ball. However if facing people that don't know their plane then yes you will win, but if they do you are dead. For example in the current state the f16 is good at low speed if I dog fight a f4s i just put the air brakes and I'm in his circle, f 14 I do a rate fight. But overall you are better off in any 4th gen fighter then in this.
@@simula152 lock radar in MTI ACM before climbing and you effectively have an autolocking 10km doppler radar with narrower dead spead than the F4S' radar. Paired with the R24R, which has better acceleration under 10km, and can relock after launch. On a faster plane. That has better low speed manuvering. Hm...

However, due to skillbase below "very good" avg, and ML chickening out due to being aware of flares and SARH ordnance count, F4S usually stomps panicing mig. I don't like 1% top ML players, 50/50 for less range but higher count of 7F/Ms, acknowledged
This thing is the only brake even for all the insane frustration, and a pretty good brake even Nothing like clipping 12 kills in any AB or best RB experience possible at it's BR /* plus it has CCIP for flawless bombing fun /* + free bases in events for top CCRP, very fun (for the one in the F4S)
If want to be better pilot and learning the game buy F5 It'll be rank up for next patch. If u want to braindead go for F4S just if u can't kill just bomb, lock and shoot which is quite braindead for me and you not gonna learn much about this game.
lol have you ever played top tier? you should know that dealing with PD radar and shit is quite complicated. They are 2 different planes, one better at dogfighting and one has far better BVR capabilities. MiG29 players are braindead too bc they use r27er?

I just got the f4s because i like the look of f4. But it sucks. Getting up tier you get kill pretty quickly.
