Salvador's decoded message definitely hints of Silo 1 being part of the story. That's probably the big reveal at the end of S2. They can wrap all of Shift as a flashback in one episode next season. Then focus more on Dust in seasons 3 & 4.
I like the idea that the woman discover her talking while shes on her dive, I also believe that firework or whatever it is that explodes and all the papers come out saying she lives while happen at the end of the season, possibly the last scene after some have heard or talked with juliet on the radio.
It is possible they meet the kids this coming episode. The meeting may be changed in the show, as they changed many things. Thinking once they drain the silo, it will reveal the tunnel and Juliet will go back that way. I also think the antibiotic that silo “made” and healed Juliet in what felt like 24 hours is not antibiotic but will be revealed later. Trying not to reveal to much, but it’s not mentioned until book two …. With Thurman….
I am also suspecting Sims and his wife are secretly a flame keeper, trying to take over the silo, and maybe this gets revealed after a sims Knox battle. It’s the only motivation I can think of about the Sims family… or at least Sims’s wife is… food for though? I get a kick out of when read my comments so thanks so much! Still voting for a severance show! 😂
I don't think the tunnels connect the various silos to each other or even close neighbors. I'm guessing each silo has a tunnel that connects only to silo 1. I don't think they were in the books but book readers might have an idea what they might be for.
Yes I agree I think they skip shift and save it for a prequel. I was very impressed they found a way plausibly make Lucas Bernard's shadow. Hopefully the kids show up soon. Great Podcast
I think we will get some of Shift this season and the prequel series would be awesome. Hugh Howey has said in an interview that there are many other silos and other stories he has in the pipeline.
Hi Bubba, Merry Christmas! I am hoping there could be some secret agenda involving Lucas, where he strings Bernard along and eventually blackmails him or takes over the IT department. he turns out to be the real bad of the show. "Shift" would have been a great spinoff between seasons of Silo-like seasons 2-5-really fleshing it out with better writing, more actors, and more storylines. It could run during the off-season of Silo, and then connect at the end. I don’t think anyone truly knows what’s going on unless it’s from the people who built them or left information explaining why. Thanks, Jacob
@@DoublePMedia i vwuld hope so. that would be awsome. but i think the show benard talking to sum1 else in another silo. sayin we have problem. but show gives impression he dont know much.
Still a chance for lucas to contact jules if she can convince solo or someone else convinces him she/they have to come inside the server room. In the book Doesn't Juliet contact her silo by radio before walking back to it? Of course book walker eased dropped on silo communications all the time, show walker could have really benefitted from a working radio.
If the Quins’ letter really was about that, I’m really curious to see where the show will take us. So, does that mean the door at the bottom of the silo is just a way to the safeguard (no digging this time)? And the subplot with Billings deep down is developing in an interesting way. I wonder if Meadows’ death will end up being the reason Bernard gets sent to cleaning.
That's too long of a message for an encrypted letter to hold. And how do we crack the code when we don't even know what the legacy is? Bernard said u need the legacy to solve this.
@@waynerogers864 And your feeling would be right. They are indeed the Legacy. But as the audience, we actually 'don't know' about that since no info has been revealed, so I believe that we should consider ourselves as 'don't have the necessary tools to crack the code yet'.
HUGE spoilers which will be revealed on the show in 2 and a half weeks... any thoughts on the Salvador Quinn message?
Great video love your vibe just subbed have a merry Christmas !!
Thanks, hope your holidays are merry & bright
That is basically what the book series is about and would explain why Meadows gave up and started drinking heavily.
Great point about Meadows reading that & starting to drink

100% - The first book 'Wool' doesn't end on a cliffhanger, the 2nd season should and will

I've come around to your way of thinking --- don't think it will happen in the next episode
This review was something else, thank you ❤️
Thanks, more great Silo episodes to come

I really hope they cracked the code without having access untill episode 9. It would be pretty cool that way.
Sounds like that could be it

Thanks! So close to the end of s2, yet so far!

Salvador Quinn message will set up the cliffhanger of s2, with the monitors in Silo 1
Will they show Silo 1 this season?

All these sci fi mystery shows work the same: start small and slowly expand the world. Silo 1 vs 18 will eventually be the storyline.
That makes sense
@1:54 what about the word “Anne”?
Lost as to the word "Anne" -- is it in the subtitle? What's the sentence?

Will Catfish shed tears at Bernard's death?
@ only tears of happiness 😅

I got a feeling the Legacy is the library looking room we see in some of the trailer pics. Probably a book on decryption in there some where.

How is Solo an older man from the time the rebellion happened but there are children alive in his silo?
Wonderful question - only answer that I can assume is that Solo's lost track of years (maybe he took forgetting drug) ?
Do they need any of Shift at this point?
Most of the questions show watchers and show characters have are answered in Shift. Once found out they drive the rest of the series and books.
Shift will be done as a flashback.
there's a debate amongst the fans --- it will be interesting to see if we get a clue to how the show will cover it at the end of this season
not first
