Shauno my husband has been bogged in the lounge chair ever since he discovered your show 4WD 24/7. He has watched every episode, some twice 😂
Best reality tv show by far
👍🤣
Invest in a Runva
Maybe Shauno can send him some Maxtrax
Lol 😂
Most bogged I've been is in a 1980 two wheel drive hilux with a tonne of firewood on the back. I got caught in a thunderstorm and after maybe 50mm of rain in half an hour, the steep logging trail turned to sludge. It was only me, my little brother and sister, and luckily my sister brought the quad. I rode it home maybe 10km shirtless in the rain and got mums rodeo out and it pulled the hilux up and out of the bog at idle and my little 7 yr old brother drove the hilux home. Gave the utes a clean and mum and dad never found out 😂
Lmao 😂
Well done!!
the rodeo with the recovery the perfect story
@@mitchelllower8340 Go the rodeo!
7 year old drove a manual hilux? Gtfo
Mits… just send a picture and how you broke it…. Flawless. Respect brother. Love it
Saw a mitts at overland expo west this year and the construction quality was incredible
My favourite bit was the big 200 flying past bailey and drenching him through his window 😂
Still getting the mud out of the Ranger 😂👌🏼
Hi mate, what kind of trailer hitch you got on the maverick? look like a standard tow bol on the ranger! And a flexible conversion on the trailer 🤔
Pretty keen to know
Cheers mate 🍻
@@vincentdidis3747 Hey Mate We Run Mchitch Couplings On All Trailers 🤙🏼
Jocko's doing voice overs!! Good on you!
I believe, too, that you do🥪🌭🍕🍟🍔🥓🍗
by the side of Little Red-Cap🥩🍖🧀🥞🥨🥖🥐
was nothing that she would 🙄🤗😍😄
‘Come, Little Red-Cap, here is a😫😪😯🤐😮😥😣
And whenever she had picked one🥧🍰🎂🍪🍩🍨🍤
Jocko is always a laugh and a genuine good vibe. Definitely have to keep him on
When shauno says he's pretty ripped and then denying it straight away. It got me good
right and then he says mom turn your ears off! lol
This trip was bloody epic lads, I'll remember it for a long time 🤘
mate, the best part was when the 200 drenched bailey and his ranger
Top effort from Jocko, he gets in there and works hard on the recoveries! He drives that D Max so well too, When it comes to driving Graham is a good photographer.
Graham’s energy is unmatched on these trips
Had to smile at 15:30 when Tim is stuck(again) he pulls up the handbrake. Lol.
Watching how excited Tim gets when they get out of a bog hole or through a crossing is awesome! Wears his heart on his sleeve
In Montana so I can’t win but, while stationed in Washington my buddy drove off the track and his 76 Chevy sand down so deep we couldn’t open the doors. We hooked 9 trucks to it and yanked off the bumper but it lifted it high enough to hook to the frame. A couple of guys showed up with winches and 6 hours of digging and two winches and two trucks keeping constant pressure on it we finally pulled it out!!!
When jocko pulled out that bra I couldn’t stop laughing 😂😂😂
The fact that he had to specifically bring a bra along with him just for that little joke gets me
@@scottwhite2914 👍
Same I'm kinda sick rn and that part made me feel a tad bit better
Can we take a second to realise why did he have a bra weather the joke was there or not y did he have one lol
My landcruiser and I have been bogged in Sydney for the last 4 months. If digging got me out of Covid lockdown I'd keep digging. Your channel keeps us all going. Thanks for everything you do!
I finally took my Nissan patrol out and put her through her paces, I cant thank rocket rod and his team for the heavy extreme trans, its bloody mental 💪💪💪 definitely does not disappoint
100% agree, got a similiar option from Rocket and Co for my 80 series, best investment I have made.
@@madmick3794 bloody awesome team they are

@@donnanorris2658 hi, what did ya say?
Most bogged Ive been is with my dad, we had just come home from an overseas holiday early in the morning so we decided to go pick up our pet dog from the kernels that day, since we live in the country there are dirt roads everywhere, well we are driving our old 2wd single cab tub triton to pick our dog up and didn't take any notice of the news or take a look at the previous weather forecast, this all came apparent when we entered a dry weather road only road. At first the mud bogs where certainly making us think about what gear to shift into, but about half way down the road we came to an absolute car swallower and decided we better reverse back, before our car was even in reverse we started sliding towards the bank on the dirt road and the second we hit that bank we were long gone and stuck with no chance of getting out on our own steam. we called a mate to help pull us out but his 4x4 could budge us, so we picked up our dog in his car and went home and left it for the night. the next day we had a landcruiser and a winch try pulling us out be that was no use, so we had to leave it yet another few days, the mud didn't dry like we thought it would so we went back to look at the conditions so dad could gage when we could get his car back. As he was calling a nearby farmer for his tractor, a small Suzuki Vitara was traveling past and offered a hand, dad almost laughed at this small stock Vitara, but the bloke was certain he could help, well sure enough, with only one large run up the snatch strap and the Vitara catapulted us out the bog almost pulling off the tow bar. definitely the most bogged I've seen considering the car was out on a public dirt road for a few days.
I remember when I was a teen, a bunch of us went out to what a few Adelaidians will know as Pelican Point, which is right on the edge of the Port River. Mate decided to send his Ford TX5 into the river, while practicing his rally driving. All we had between us was a 1979 corolla with the 1.2L engine and a TG Gemini to pull it out. Tide came in and put his car under water as our 2 little cars couldn't break the suction of the wet sand. One of our uncles came down with his VK Commodore with the 308 and a snatch strap. Ripped it out like it was a piece of paper. We all learnt a valuable lesson that day. One of us needed to get into 4 wheel driving which 2 of us did in the end.
Dying to see a troopy on one of these episodes!
Another great watch thanks guys. I cant decide what my best bogging ever was, Hydrauliced a 47 in a hole in Wanangatta, Bogged a 4" 80 with 35's and twin lockers in the high country solo for 3 days, stuck in WA sand dunes resulting in 9hrs of winching. Bogged at Litchfeild NT that 7 other vehicles got bogged getting me out, or getting the Mighty AU falcon stuck on a tree across a track whilst using it well out side what fords design team had in mind. Regardless they are all character building and when you have good mates with you its where memories are made.
It doesn't matter what sort of shit you get stuck in , its the good people with you on the trip all in it together that memories are made of. Nobody remembers the easy trips where nothing goes wrong.....
Most i've been bogged wasnt that bad, i managed to get out myself just going back and forward in the mud for about 10 minutes up at glasshouse, when i got home i realised i forgot to lock my hubs and i did everything in 2wd.
That's a grouse story mate
Madness bro
Better than any Netflix Show hands down . Nice Hearing Jocko doing some narration .And I've got to say you guys have balls running around in those wetlands bare foot with all those Joe Blakes
After seeing how the Dmax handles when Jock is driving, I am now putting all bogging and winching down to Grahams driving haha
Can't wait to see this episode
Tim and Jock are two guys you'd just love to have on a challenging trip. They just get in, get dirty and do what needs to be done to help out. 👍
This is the best 4wd drive show I've seen. Thanks guys. I'm reliving my younger days.
"PUT THE WINDSCREEN WIPERS ON! TURN EM ON! MAKE THE DOODLOO SOUND!"
That cracked me up🤣 and shauno actually did the sound 💀
Can’t wait to watch it tonight with a beer 🍺 looks great
Already know this is gonna be a banger! Who else is keen to get away!? And where?
mate i’m in sydney and i just wanna get out of this lockdown and go off-roading. i don’t even care if i get bogged and try to get out for hrs at least i got to get out
i really wanna go to cape york some day
Every video you guys put out is truly classic. I look forward to the next one each time. As I have said before I envy you guys so much. Australia is so beautiful.
We sunk a service truck for oil pipeline equipment while trying to get to a few tracked excavators. Over a 13 hour day of trying to give every piece of equipment a try at pulling it out, we gave that day. The next day we pulled 6 tracked excavators beside the truck to dig it out. When that did not work and we buried the equipment to. The only thing left was to use a long boom crane to lift the truck out. After 44 long grueling hours we recovered it. And then another 18 hours we recovered the tracked excavators too. That texas sand and mud is no joke.
Yeeeeeee. About time!!! Time to sit back, and enjoy!
I ABSOLUTELY love you guys, I wish I could be there with you all, well done keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing videos as usual, you are all awesome. From a Pommy living in the USA wishing I was there with you all
BOYS! I only just found your channel & I'm in LOVE! 😁 I LOVE watching the old Farm truck just ripping through it all! Keeping a close eye I that too, watching what gears you're using in each conditions. As a tough little Canadian chic that grew up with big Old F250s & lifted Chevrolets, I just bought my first 4wd here in Aus & can't wait to go get my Navara NP300 DIRTY! Love seeing all the awesome camp gear & the tips and tricks too! Big fan!
One of the things I like best about this channel is the sharing of knowledge. I have been offroading for a long time and never saw the tire under the winch rope trick. Of course, I immediately shared it on Facebook with my local Jeep club. Much appreciated and cheers.
That's one epic trip lads. Have to say the last 2 episodes have to be the best I have seen. Credit to all the lads for getting through that hard slug.
I live about 15 miles from the town of Saratoga, New York. Never knew there was a fish on the other side of the planet with the same name!
Mate it’s a small world! I live not too far away in Vermont!
Have been subscribed to your channel for over 4 years! So glad to see a number of subscribers grow so well lately! Top work boys! Absolute legends!
Brilliant video, I thought you were going to lose a vehicle mind so well done to all of you.
Roll on to your next trip.
Love your work guys keep it up wish I was there
Been waiting for this 🔥
Thank you for making so many great show's for us. I have been watching You, Roothy, Rocket, Chris from 4x4 Supacenta, Shawn, and a raft of other keen off roaders since shorty was almost water proof, The evolution of your 4x4 show has been fun to watch so, Thank you again for the cracking show's to watch while I give my 94 troopy a few up graded mods and a much needed full rewiring, (using a custom made loom from a mate who's knows the black art of 12 volt system's).
I’m in North Carolina. USA. The most stuck I’ve ever been was back in 2001. Got the bright idea to go wheeling by myself and found a nasty hole. After walking nearly 3 miles out of the woods to a strangers house to use the phone it too 2 full size trucks to pull out a jeep. Lesson of the day? Never go alone lol. Love the show guys
I reckon you guys planned the get the MITS 79 stuck in that mud just to show how good the canopy is. Well your plan worked, now I am saving up to get one. :)
May i know how much this mits canopy roughly cost?
What did the canopy have to do with the situation?
Bloody oath legends always a great watch 🍻🍻🍻
Amazing driving. So hype for this episode to come out and what a name for a pub at the end.
Epic trip boys love this show! Can't wait for footage on the next one go get em 👌🏾
Been waiting all arvo for this!
Yeww let’s go boys. Let’s see what happened 🤙
Had a doozy up at Hill River just south of Jurien Bay WA. 38" tyres 8" lift in a GU Patrol. Stuck in the river for 9 hours with water almost touching the steering wheel. 2 broken snatch straps, a destroyed towbar on a 75 series. A legendary 80 series saved the day with 3 mooring anchors, 5 snatch blocks and about 150m of 30mm rope! What a time to be alive!
The Wildmen of Australia ... Great adventure guy's!!!!!!
I've never missed a 4WD247 upload, obsessed 🤙 good drive boys

Congratulations to all of you, what an adventure and the Saratoga what a beautiful fish
My 06 100 series td is sitting in my garage in Melbourne. I’m in Poland with my wife and family. I have every DVD and magazine you guys have ever made in oz, the only thing getting me through living here is you guys, Thank you, keep them coming and hopefully we can wheel when I get home in a year. Merry Christmas boys

The most stuck I have been was when I took the Grand Vitara (completely stock) up 'Big Sandy' at Byfeild National Park. Took about 3 hrs with 6psi to get to the top and we had to fill the wheel ruts in most of the way.
Most bogged at Teewah Beach in Pathfinder towing a Jayco camper. Went down off the entry way and found there was no hard sand, should have walked down first. A group of Park Rangers were there and hooked up to the camper with their Cruiser and got me out with the surf lapping not to far away. Taught me a lot about keeping the hitch high out of the sand and using low range. Spent our first night in a motel but got up there in the end. Cheers guys very entertaining vids.
Good on ya Shauno........Great fish.......Big thanks to you and all the lads.....for an "Awesome Show"
Dam it boys!! It’s 12:00 AM in the Pacific Northwest!! A girl has got to get her beauty sleep! Now I’m definitely gonna be up the next hour watching my favorite 4 wheelers!
I’m gonna send you pictures of my little weapon on Instagram! ❤️🐞
Looks like you get plenty of beauty sleep!! Gorgeous girl ! 😍😍

@@henrythehilux3963 🤣🤣 I guess pictures of my little weapon could be misconstrued!
Mates, @ approx 49mins, I feel that it would be beneficial for the convoy to have @ least a set of block&tackle, better yet Everyone should have a set... the ratio with multiple sets....you blokes could theoretically pull it out by sheer bloke power! I know from experience having pulled a a full-sized Dodge van out of a Mire with a mere 10 Boy Scouts!
Great vid fellas 👌 had a similar night bogged to the chassis in a dual cab 79 in the middle of a paddock fox hunting. No other vehicles and not a tree in sight. Had to run the entire way home 5kms at 3 o’clock in the morning to get another vehicle to pull it out. After another 6 hours of digging and breaking winch ropes we finally had the big rig out.
Jocko, @ Exactly 44:14min; It is Just about time for a beer 🍺! As soon as you blokes find a camping spot!😉👍
I've been so bogged but i have never driven a track. How you ask, well it's quite simple. Bought a 2nd hand 4b for the first time, the following week victoria went into lockdown. Could you be any more bogged?
You been bogged for what like 233 days now.
I think Victoria will ALWAYS BE BOGGED !!! (thanks DICTATOR Dan)
FINALLY!! A week is a long time to wait for the follow up video
Hope you enjoyed it mate! 🙌🏻
Watching that 200 series really makes you think about track maintenance.
Big V8 power, 35's and a heavy right foot. Very, very cool and awesome to watch! But even more impressive is that everytime the right foot got exercised every truck behind it got bogged to the chassis. Every. Single. Time.
Bogged to the door seals in my 80. I needed all 5 other rigs in the convoy to act at a massive anchor coz we were in a big salt flat. Took hours of recovery and DAYS of cleaning. Loved every second of it. Haha
Waited for this episode! I'm literally your biggest fan from the Philippines 🇵🇭. Mabuhay guys
Shaun and his stocking, I use that same method to keep my new radiators clean.. Works great!!
Been waiting all week for this!, Legends as always. Cheers for another ripper vid.
Been bogged for 6 hrs solo in black soil at night.
Only way out was backwards.
1 winch, 1 snatch block, multiple shackles, winch extension, tree trunk protector, and towbar recovery point.
Ran the rope under the car poking it thru with a big branch and digging it out.
Snatch blocked it back to the towbar on a winch extension strap.
She came out.
Love how Tim rips on the handbrake when he got bogged 🤣
Shauno double parked at 55:00 😂😂🍻
Damn boys….that was some crazy stuff😂
Love the channel…keep on keepin on!
another awesome trip / mission !!! LOL ...and that Saratoga that shauno court bloody awesome and its on camera LOL ...... BIG THUMBS UP GUYS :) those outtakes omg LOL 1:00:08
Nothing beats four wheel driving and having a camp fire with your best friends awsome love you vids so inspirational
Fantastic adventure. We all dream about. But boys were was the cord on bleau. Segment. 😜🤪
Great for this coming out it’s given me something to take off my mind what happened today I had a house fire and it was not very great
Thats some epic stuff guys.
Learn a lot of winching tricks 😉
Love your adventures.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the passion they all have for this.
I took the family to Fraser Island, all was going well. about late afternoon saw the camping area at the top of the hill (All Sand) started to go upI became bogged and the trailer was stuck couldn't go backwards spent most of the night digging it out. Wife was unhappy the kids starving around midnight un hitched the traiiler, made it out left the trailer at the bottom. After a six pack a young fellow had a winch on his 4X4 saved the trailer. Fed the kids, wife wanted to go home, pitched the tent, a good night sleep.
Been forced into watching your videos every night with hubby over dinner and I'm officially hooked! You guys are brilliant 😀
Always a great watch legends and with the trailer recovery I would of used the Max tracks at the front for a skid
The most stuck I have been is glued to the Tv and couch in the shed watching 4wd 24/7 with a few beers cannot get out even with help.
Keep up the great videos cannot wait to see the y62 💪🏽
In my back paddock, took me a week to dig it out. Bogged to the rails 🤠👍
Getting flash backs from a few years ago. Just brought a 92 SR5 Hilux and decided to take it on some stuff tracks in Tassie. Long story short we broke a few snatch straps and a PDO winch on a shorty 40. Left it over night came back with 3 serious 4wds. Took all 3 to finally get my lux out. I was a very amateur off roader but not now I learnt my lesson and have learnt so much from you legends
Epic recoveries all right . The property owner though won’t be to pleased that his tracks have been torn up lol 😂
I headed out to a mud flat off a croc infested creek in Townsville. A p plater in a Ford ranger had been chucking loops and drive bout 800m in and was bogged in slaty mud half way up the doors. I took my old Colorado out there because nobody wanted to help and managed to get myself bogged while giving a snatch.
7 hours later and 7 winched vehicles got me out slowly lol.
I drove the p platers home and we left there car there only to pick them up the following morning and we got a custom Army mog to come and drag him 700m after 5/6 hours of us running the logs winches and straps we ended up getting his car out and I even signed him on base so he could use the army’s wash bay to clean his rig haha longest weekend of my life. I baught an 80series not long after that haven’t been bogged since ;)
sam smashing through the mud! one of the best things ive ever seen! so sick!
Awesome trip best 4wd trip ever 👍 would love to watch more of this type of awesome content 🤩
We once got our 2000 Mitsubishi Triton bogged while checking out the fence line. We tried reversing out of it multiple times until we were making it worse. Then it started raining, but we got the Tractor either way. Once we got it up to the Ute we were trying for a solid 10 minutes. While doing it we also got the Tractor bogged. Luckily it managed to bite and we got it out, but we were sure as hell considering burning the thing down 😂
Oh no
Great watching bloody excellent 👍
I got a 1997 chevy T6500 24 ft moving truck stuck in mud where a friend said to park and it took 12 hours of digging to get that big truck out. Love your videos.
hahaha i love that quote from Graham after having the idea with the trailer. "Its actually quite Brilliant" iv heard that a few times just before doing something stupid with the boys
Hi Guys, This was a great trip (adventure) Having done lots of Off Road, Remote trips over the years. I always take some 2mm rubber to cover tyre splits on the inside and then fit a Tube and this has been used to get us through many trips. Maybe you have to try some of the older fixes. Yes I use many plugs but as well but always have a tube etc for remote places !!!
Wow... just awesome troopers
Love that there is more fishing again
Most stuck? Buxton (about an hour west of Hervey bay) we headed to the beach for a long weekend. Took a little side track on Saturday morning, 4 rigs, 7 nights, 2 missing max tracks, 4 stripped max tracks , 2 burnt out winches, countless snapped winch ropes, 4 shovels busted, 2 high lift jacks that were turned into boomerangs, trees being pulled out of the ground winching, a massive storm come over and created rising flood waters, 5km later we finally got out. Yes, it was only 5km. Looking back it was a great experience, just don’t want to be that stuck again.
I was out at Flora River while a ranger in the NT. We had a little ranger camp in the park away from prying eyes and overnight we had significant rain. Yep, you guessed it, black soil. It took me 4hours to do the 400m back to the main track. I know the feeling!
