I have been unable to receive my targeted advance. I got the original loan last year in august but grant funds were over. I applied around April but am still pending on processing stage for both. Sent a stamped copy of my 2018 taxes in june and still no response from the grant officials. This sucks
Getting a grant on your own takes lot of time and most times you don’t even meet up your expectations. but it is easier and faster when you have good mentorship from a case worker. If you want to research other options,you should try working with a government attorney for validation

Thank you I will. I am writing this down! Then I will start as well with my local government agent in my district. I just have to continue to work my regular job to support myself and that causes me to take so long getting things going but I keep going. I am proud that I got registered with my state. I have my EIN # my LLC. I just opened a business bank account just last night. Now I am headed to applying for funding help and grant help. I am determined!

I've been in business since 2015. I wish I would have looked this stuff up. I'm a woman owned product developer here in Upstate New York. There's tons here
I have a human-owned business. I do not delineate sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc when describing my business. That is ostentatious and obnoxious. Grow your business on your personal merits. Do not try to get ahead simply due to catch phrases or picket lines. That is flagrant disregard for others that have built theirs on hard work and upon the sweat on their brow. I do have to ask, Chris Lilly, why do you feel the need to state “I have a black owned food delivery service”? Why does it matter what race you are? Does it make the food taste any different? Are you saying that the brown owned food delivery service is worse than yours simply because they are brown? Or is the white owned food delivery service terrible because they are white. I am purposely being obtuse to show why it does not matter the amount of melanin in your epidermis when it comes to business.

I have a curb painting business that is doing really good. I was looking for a council member in Dallas and fort Worth and it's very hard to get ahold on them. Luckily because I work so much in a specific City, the Councilman in that City was looking for me when I came back in that area. He wanted me to paint one of the residence curb. And there you go that is going to be my city councilman!!!!

Determining whether you are eligible to apply for and receive a federal grant is very important. If you are not legally eligible for a specific funding opportunity, you would waste a lot of time and money completing the application process when you cannot actually receive the grant.
Charlotte the choice left for you is having an agent whom will guide you and give you good impact in understanding legal eligibility per the funding opportunity, than time wasting on applying yourself.
Not a good fan of Grants Online because I haven’t given it a trial not up till now, and with reviews so far this year has been just fun to my ears and zero satisfaction to my financial status, any guarantor??.

I have been unable to receive my targeted advance. I got the original loan last year in august but grant funds were over. I applied around April but am still pending on processing stage for both. Sent a stamped copy of my 2018 taxes in june and still no response from the grant officials. This sucks

Getting a grant on your own takes lot of time and most times you don’t even meet up your expectations. but it is easier and faster when you have good mentorship from a case worker. If you want to research other options,you should try working with a government attorney for validation

You still have to be in the low income area according to federal government grant map

Contact your local SBA office and ask them to refer you to a Business Mentor. You can do it online, too. They usually do it for free. See if that will help you get started. In either case, having a mentor can be a wonderful thing for your business.

At 44 years old I finally feel ready to settle down long enough to buy a house. Unfortunately due to previous horrible stupid life decisions, I’m forced to start with a zero balance in my savings account. On the bright side, the huge amount of debt - consequence of those bad decisions will be paid off next month! 🥳 It’s never too late to start saving like there’s no tomorrow, and I’m really REALLY excited and motivated. Oh and TODAY, fyi my emergency fund is also a done deal! by BsnsFunding lol, I didn’t make it myself.

Yes! There are new business grants out there, but you’ll likely need a clear business plan to be awarded the grant.
