- SQW team member David was leading the way out of the only exit of the property in the mountains of Western North Carolina that the group investigates for Bigfoot. As he went to open the gate, he was interrupted and left motionless as the loud sounds of vicious growls and movement were coming from the woods in front of him. As team members Taylor and Tate quickly exited their vehicles and raced towards David to defend him and discover what was lurking in the woods, the encounter turned almost near lethal to where Tate drew his firearm! I don't think a 9mm is going to slow down something that big..
Lots of bears and big animals where I live. We're definitely not the top of the food chain. I carry a 3-5-7 on my chest and an AR chambered for 50 Beowulf on a sling in the woods. Very accurate to maybe 200 yards, but has 320 grain business end... That's big enough to stop anything it hits. Have the sites (scope, laser and iron) set for 75 yards. Just carry it for defense. Bear or BF, neither has a prayer against the beowulf. I reload and practice practice practice with it a lot. I hit what I aim at.
It easily would with multiple shots to the head and or chest.
I have pictures from 2007 - 2008 from close to Indian Mound in Mount Gilead NC . I spotted one and called the NCWRC and the sent a Biologist down from Albermarle and he said he saw these types of Tracks all over Uwharrie National Forest. I only saw 1 but kept finding tracks . I took some pictures and uploaded them 2 years later in 2010 and there were 3 Bigfoots close to me as I was on my deer stand on a little island in the Pee Dee River.
Uwharrie is BF territory and they seem to be more ill tempered people out there should be very careful
I'm NW of Uwharrie Nat Forest. West of Lake Norman.....there active over here as well. The whole state has them matter of fact.
I didn’t know about your Indian Mound. I’m in Ohio and grew up a couple miles from Indian Mound here. Serpent mound to. I never believed in Bigfoot but grew up listening to story’s from my family. Still didn’t believe. I never seen a Bigfoot but I’ve seen other things and the past 4 years I’ve become a believer in many things. I don’t want to ever see a Bigfoot because my sister said they’d kidnapp and eat me. So I’m curious as to what these men or anyone could and would actually do if they were face to face with one? I’m good watching from afar

I got ran out of Uwharrie national Forest one night it was 20 to 30 yards from me deep growing moved from left to right from the sound it was big
I'm aware of similar occurrences there happened to an old buddy of mine as well as Janice Carter had a bad encounter there.

Pulled down to the falls lake behind badin across the other side there was something making a sound like a cow I know that there is nothing but hills and trees and cliffs it started near the water up too the top and hafe way down the side

No sounds, nothing. Come on guys. start wearing head cameras. This way you can get anything on film, if you actually heard it.

night about 10 oclcok. Got out of my truck, walked to the passenger side back door and opened it to grab some bags of stuff. As soon as i picked up a handful of bags, i heard a loud growling literally right behind me. It sounded canine like. It wasnt just a little growl, it was a loud, like im fixing to eat youre butt growl. I dropped my bags, spun around, and was absolutely nothing there. I live in a city in ky. Its not a big city, but nevertheless a city. There are some patches of woods around my neighborhood. Anyways my back porch light was on, as well as a street light in front of my house. There was nowhere this "canine" could of ran off too without me seeing it, or at least hearing it run away. Ive lived here for years, and the only dog ive ever seen is a beagle hound that howls and chases rabbits around the neighborhood some evenings. I still dont know what it was. It couldve possibly been a dog, but i really dont believe it was. Especially me turning around in a split second after it growled just a couple feet behind me, and me never seeing it or hearing it run away 🤷♂️
What KY city? I live in KY. You do know, a child, 14 year old boy, was drug out of a relatives front yard, screaming for his daddy, while he was visiting; and, it mauled him to death? It hit the news, that law enforcement officials, couldn't identify the animal either.
Oh yeah. The city was Jackson Breathit, KY about an hour and a half drive from me; and, the news showed the home. I remember seeing kudzu all around it. Great cover for a huge cryptid.
I'd appreciate to know the city you live in, and I'm hoping it's far away from me; but, it doesn't matter, really. It's proven, BF & DM, can cloak.
What I've see on Hellbent Holler, has me convinced the orbs associated with them, aren't just pretty anomalies. They stalk you thru them, silently, and leave silently through the air.

A long time ago, back in 1976 when I was a young man of 17. My cousin Jake and I went hunting out on our Grandfather's 700+ acre ranch in East Texas. On this ranch there was about 200+ acres of thick woods that backed up to a national forest. It was a cool fall day in mid November, we decided we'd try our luck at deer hunting as our family freezer was getting a little low on venison. We liked to use a nice wooded ridge on the Southern side of the woods that overlooked a nice grassy clearing towards the North. This meant we'd be downwind of any possible deer grazing on this grassy area, as on this day, there was a calm breeze from the North. We sat with our backs against a couple of huge beautiful old growth oak trees. Grandpa respected the old growth trees on his property and taught us to respect them as well. We never harvested lumber or firewood from them unless they fell over in a storm or from disease. Anyway, there we were sitting under these old trees just quietly scanning the woods, waiting for a good sized buck to walk into this clearing. What happened next, I still can't believe to this day. If it wasn't for the confirmation from my cousin Jake, I would have shrugged it off as a hallucination or a bad dream. It started with the woods going completely quiet. I mean death quiet. No birds, no insects, no wind noise, nothing. It's as if someone or something hit the pause button. Jake looked over at me and whispered _"Do you hear that?"_ *"Hear what?"* I asked. _"Exactly! Nothin'! I don't hear nothin'!"_ he replied. Just then a loud crack erupted from the national forest side of the woods and Jake's eyes grew as big as saucers. It sounded like someone slammed the side of a tree with a Louisville Slugger. We both knew this was getting serious and in a hurry. Jake had his Dad's new 30-06 and I had Grandpa's old Winchester lever action 30-30. We raised our rifles and set our sights in the direction we believed the loud crack came from. I could hear my heart beating in my eardrums. The suspense was excruciating. I just wanted to get out of there, but Jake wanted to know what in the hell made that noise. To this day I wish we would've just got the hell out of there. After about 30 seconds that felt like an hour, we heard footsteps. Not hoofbeats but footsteps. Like a man running. You know, the seesaw pit pat bipedal rhythm of a human running. But this wasn't a man. It sounded like a damn bulldozer tearing through those woods. There was a smell in the air. I couldn't quite place it. Kind of like rotten meat mixed with sulphur. Closer and closer the sound got, louder and louder. It's as if this thing is about to pop out of the woods and into the clearing. My heart was in my throat, my mouth was dry and my hands were a sweaty, shaking mess. My brain is trying to rationalize what this damn thing is, but nothing fits. I'm frozen with fear. Just then the running stopped. My mind is screaming "RUN, you fool!" but my legs are like spaghetti, and I wasn't going to leave my cousin there by himself to face this abomination. No. Hell no! I'd rather die fighting, than do that. Ol' Jake was like a brother to me. I look over at Jake and he's got his right index finger up to his lips making the "shhh" sign. Then he points into the woods towards the North. *"I see it! I see it Jake!."* I whispered.
Well, I guess this damned thing heard me, because it let out a earsplitting roar. Not a scream or a yell, but a damn roar. It sounded like a mix of a lion and an elephant. As it roared, the black mass we saw at the edge of the clearing, started to grow. The damned thing was standing up!
Five feet, six feet, seven feet, eight feet, all the way up to what looked to be nine feet tall. It was at that point we knew exactly what it was. It was a damn...

Same thing happened to me (more or less).... except my encounter old squatch, or yeti if you prefer, sat down and talked to me.
After an hour of fascinating and illuminating conversation he leaned in and whispered, "There's no way Biden got 81 million votes"......."And that whole Epstien thing?.....he's still alive".
I left the forest with a newfound understanding and a sense of awe and wonder about our planet.

Uh, it's probably gonna take more than a Kel-tec PMR30 .22mag semi-auto pistol to take on a "Squatch-Foot." Sure it's got thirty rounds (although, 28 rounds is probably all you're gonna be able to load in the mags), but that's just thirty times you're gonna bee-sting the thing and piss it off. I know that sidearm very well...I've got one. Just be sure to use some ear protection because it's LOUD.
Get a 12 gauge and keep a Taurus Judge 35/410 handy
I want this to be a real thing but the evidence is still close to nothing.
Get loads of volunteers involved, target an area where there are a large number of apparent Bigfoot sightings. Carpet an area with trail cameras, I mean loads. (Please don't use the argument that they are aware of cameras, any animal that runs around the woods eating squirrels, will never understand the compexities of the engineering and electronics of a digital camera motion sensor.)
Once these cameras are in place, flood the area with food, absolutely everywhere. Fruit, vegetables, donuts, meat, whatever. Get donations. Get volunteers. That's all I can suggest.
