There's Something At The Edge Of The Universe That Could Remake Physics

- While our telescopes can take us as far as we can see, there's always a fundamental limit. Even if space extends infinitely, the time since the hot Big Bang does not. Despite our technological advancements or the passage of time, there will forever be aspects of the cosmos concealed from our scrutiny. The Universe, like a cosmic enigma, holds secrets that elude our comprehension. Regardless of how long we wait, we are confronted by the stark reality that there will always be an 'edge' beyond which we cannot see."
Awesome content as always for those who love physics space and astronomy ❤️
You mean sci-fi content 😂
We are not getting a glimpse of the edge of the universe. We are seeing as far as light will allow us to see. Beyond that point the universe is expanding faster than the light beginning from that point can travel to us. It is the current limit of our vision not the boundary or edge of the universe. There are likely no boundaries to the infinitely small or big. There are likely only limits to our knowledge and understanding.
Yes, very true comment... 😉
I call this missing of knowledge and understanding "limited consciousness"...
What the James Web telescope is showing us is just more illusion
@@thekingofmojacar5333 It's just "consciousness". Entropy only arises as a function of "decoupling" from an otherwise discrete quantum system. Decoupling is tantamount to sentient awareness. The trick is that "you" are actually the universe decoupling from itself, in order to realize itself. The self is the required "veil" concealing truth, such that truth could possibly even be realized through unveiling.
There are so many contradictory things in astronomy and that is why I gave up on it. That was exactly what I thought when I started listening to this. The truth is we will never know and it will always be theories.
Anyway it is nice to see somebody else who sees it like I do. Not somebody that just blindly believes what they are told.
@@Vile_old_Bastard_3545 Who told you we "will never know"? It only appears "we will never know" because mainstream science hasn't advanced in over 100 years, but that doesn't mean science hasn't advanced underground in the meanwhile.
Good essay.
What happened the first black holes that we're formed. What happens when there's nothing left to eat right at the beginning of time. Where do they end up, are they still around. Could they still be active, if so but how. 🤔☘️
Now if we could look back 20 or even 30 billion years in the universe, we would see exactly the same cosmic phenomena such as galaxies, star clusters, quasars, etc.
Sorry, how is that possible? - Actually, it's not that hard to imagine...
These cosmic structures were part of our previous universe and since light always manifests itself sooner or later in this huge cosmos, we can also observe the photons from the previous universe. However, there is a small problem here...
The further away these light objects are, the longer it takes them to reach us on Earth
or they will never arrive (due to the expansion of the universe).
So in a way, we can already say that space is infinite, at least for our human (and tiny) dimension compared to this truly gigantic cosmos... 🔭 📡
Possibly not even a single image is real in this documentary. Kudos to NASA's CGI department.
The Universe is an eternal cycle of Big Bangs and Big Freezes
No it isn't.
How in the FLYING F are we looking back at the very beginning of the Universe?🤔
Ohhh, that’s, that static light!
Bc in a real world that “first light” would be much farther out then we are now. That’s like saying, “I’m gonna run in a strait line then get to the end then look back at myself running with binoculars.” 9:11 🤔
Here is a thought. 3 dimensions are how we define our space. We think in terms of that constraint. We may live in 4 dimensions but perceive it as limitless. A concept we have no real way of comprehending because it lies outside of out 3 dimensional experience. We can rethink that as 4 dimensions with time and endless or limitless becomes 5 dimensions but you get the concept.
Why would a fourth dimension make the universe seemingly infinite?
Not trying to start a debate or anything just curiosity
Because limitless IS ANOUTHER FORM of length like depth and width I would say
@@mattchambers4561.. Think about it from a Fish 🐟 point of view. The ocean is infinite 3D to the fish until u catch the fish and take it out of the water. 🤔 That's how I personally work through the dimension thoughts 💭
@bstevenson1002 you're close by definition ")imagine a creature lives in the bottom of the ocean never surfaces its world consists water but nothing else. if water is a medium then the air or space is a medium then there must be demarcation separates space another substance of medium....
@@mattchambers4561 Infinite is the dimension we cannot relate to. We define things to understand them. We think in terms of beginnings and endings, boundaries. Frames of reference. It's what we do, all we know.
If everything is moving away from everything else in all directions ....... Why do things collide? INCLUDING galaxies?
gravity
After you get passed all the planets stars and galaxies there is absolutely nothing on and on forever.
♾️
Probably 🤔
There are infinite other universes, the multiverse. We connect to it through our minds, spirits and imagination
If you believe in red shift, explain the large ring of galazies a billion light years across.
Answer: Nothing
What is nothing?
Who's building the wall around the universe? Does sleepy Joe know about this? And how long is the job going to last?
Why does the universe exist
GOD wanted it to, it was created by Him & for Him.
The anti universe -
all this proves that there is A GOD , who controls(programmed) everything.... alhumdu Lillah
If the "edge" of the observable universe recedes at light speed, then light speed is "motionless" with respect to the observable edge of the universe, in which case it makes more sense to model the universe as "static", with objects and time scales as "collapsing". Collapsing objects and time scales imply a "rescaling" function applied to each quantum-level state-transition, offering the straightforward explanation of everything scientists can't figure out, including time-frame dilation or dark matter & energy. Furthermore, "accelerating" expansion is just the constant function of a growing size ratio between system and content. Anyone who actually cares about this subject should read and comprehend the CTMU theory by Chris Langan.
