What few people know is that thew waterfall didn't flow up because of Ken's aura. It just detected he was gonna end somebody and didn't want to be around for it just in case

Tensho Honrentsu wasn't an Hokuto Shinken original technique, but it was discovered by Raoh, when he stealed many styles from various prisoners on Casandra. Therefore, Ken copied this Raoh's signature move, a beam ray of pure ki energy, which hits an enemy from far away, pulling him away. But, this time, Kenshiro used the " Spirit Hokuto blown ", which grants him to hit enemies tsubo (power points) without touching them. The "boss" resisted this energy, then Kenshiro powered it up "a little"....

Ron si è beccato quella bordata di energia in pieno petto e se non avesse avuto l'armatura (che si è disintegrata sul colpo), probabilmente sarebbe rimasto ucciso.
First if all Ken already copy other fighting style such as Shin Nanto Koshu Ken, Yuda Nanto Koka Ken, Shu Nanto Hakuro Ken, Toki Ju no Ken, Rei Nanto Suicho Ken and Raoh Go no Ken
@@joejunior5991 Kenshiro didn't copied Shin's or Rei's Nanto Style. He only studied it in order to prevent it, making it useless. He only copied Juda's Nanto Kogakuken style (like Raoh already did) to send attacks from distance (and he copied it just watching Juda using that special move against Rei), then he copied entirely Shuu's Nanto Akuroken style, using it when he remains blind after the match against Raoh in Nanto Tower (since Shuu, too, was blind). Then, he copied Raoh's Tenshoo Honrentsu (a move Raoh used against Kenshiro in the fight in Nanto Tower) and used it against Han.
Kenshiro didn't copied any other Nanto Style.

HE Did use Rei Santo Suicho Ken when on Musou Tensei State Remember when Raoh use Gosho Ha and Ken Move so Fast that it slice his upper body similar to Nanto Suicho Ken
For Toki he use Hokuto Ujo Mosho Ha as a Finisher during his fight with Souther

Hokuto No Ken 2 is severly underrated. Its my favorite arc of the series actually. Sure the supporting characters aren't as great. Even the beginning, like with Shin, isn't the best. But once Ken goes to Asura, oh lord. It'll make a man out of you just watching it!
There are some crazy fights but the quality of the characters and plot goes to hell pretty bad.
Kenshiro has a long lost brother? That's fair. We know nothing of his family since he was an orphan.
Raoh also has a long lost brother that neither he nor Toki ever spoke of before flashbacks in this arc? That's just dumb. We saw Toki & Raoh as younger kids and they were nowhere near Asura. They also have a sister too?! Good god, author, are you even trying?!
If they wanted to go with that sort of thing, Souther could've worked, since he too was an orphan. It'd actually carry more weight because Souther died while building a monument to someone he had an emotional attachment to.
Don't even get me started on the utterly pointless death of Falco, Shachi needlessly getting people killed & making things worse at every opportunity, or the plot issues of Ryuken purposefully making sure Asura only had 1 potential savior instead of 3 great warriors working together for that cause.
It is fun despite its flaws

Why it angers me to the degree it does is because I hate it when something could go from meh to great had just a little bit changed.
Bat should've been a lot stronger/useful, since he had a dude who could teach him some martial arts. It would've been cool to see him actually do something useful, but still not quite be at the level he needed to be yet.
Falco should've gotten a less stupid death, like fighting Shachi or Han or someone else of substance. He might as well have not even bothered going there at all
Raoh shouldn't have had never before mentioned by anyone siblings from across the ocean. That was just a waste of potential for the story. It also contradicts some of what we're told about Asura, which hurts the narrative a bit.

This scene isn't in the manga. Saint Seiya was published in 1985 and HnK2 in 1987.

Let me get this straight. This guy uses a deadly killing technique on Kenshiro that would kill any normal man, and rushes at him with a sword when it doesn't work? I guess brawn is valued over brains in the land of Asura.
+luke bruner i hear you. I think the "logic" (ahehm...) of martial arts anime is that techniques have this "it's not working" thing like an antibiotic to bacteria. There is some kind of immunity here and there (say: the old Musou Tensei does not work on Kahio's Anryu Tempa before an upgrade, but in theory Ken could have still punched Kaio to death, which is really not an easy thing to do without using "my best esoteric technique"). S it could make sense to resort to something else (like a sword...)

Ken here is like how he should've been at the end of the series with his fight against Kaioh, not saying he should've fought harder but after his fights, I feel like Ken should've ended up like his other brothers, basically a Ki vampire who seeks fist-fights only to bait and switch because he's leveled up so much he just uses non-contact death-attacks.

HnK2 - like an awesome old rpg expansion pack where even tho you pwnd the old world, everything in this new place is a threat... For a while
They sort of try to explain it in that they make it out as if this Shura place is absolutely insane in how militant it is, with everybody there being either a nameless slave or an ultra-fanatical warrior that does nothing but train and fight for his entire life. And the random soldiers don't end up being any more of a threat to Kenshiro than the mohawk dudes from HnK1, it's pretty much just Han, Hyoh and Kaioh that are able to give Ken a decent fight.
