    I have a hoyer lifter that I only used for about 3 months probably 5 times at the most. Thank you so much! I am going to try this out because I need to sell this hoyer lifter! It still looks brand new!

    What were your symptoms? Did the charge light not come on ? I just got one and tried charging the battery but the charge light will not come on. I metered the battery and says 21 volts. But still won’t move the lift

      @@liam5668 I contacted the manufacture and they sent me a troubleshooting guide and yes it came down to a weak battery. It was just on the weak side enough to not take a charge. I went to the local battery world and got a pair for 30$ Canadian. They are a very common battery inside. Used the heat gun to loosen the adhesive that held the battery shell together and a small flat head screw driver to slowly separate without cracking or mangling the seam. Replaced the batteries taking note of wire connections and routing and where the foam went. Pretty easy and cheap replacement. Took a charge and works great now. As a note I put a piece of tape on the battery unit and marked the replacement date on it.

      @@danrayton9666 I can’t thank you enough. I am going to try and do what you did. Just pulled up to Walmart now. What kind of batteries are they?

      @@danrayton9666 I forgot if the black cord connects to the red connection on the battery in the blink of an eye. It only had a black red and white cord. (white and black cord/white and red cord). Also did you have to change the fuse? @brucenarten880

    How do you get hair out of the wheels of a hoyer lift

    • @24barz87
      @24barz87 Рік тому

      You have to take the wheels off with a socket set and crescent wrench then Pop the end caps off with a flat head screwdriver clean the hair then oil the bearings replace the caps and wheels
