I struggled with my faith for years in the past, after almost dying and seeing things while unconscious/almost dead. I have no doubt in my mind that Christ lives. I’ve had so many spiritual things happen to me since my faith has grown and I thank god every day for giving me a second chance at life. I’m an atheist but I do hope with all my heart that the end times and the rapture actually happen. I want to see the faces of all the hateful “Christians” when they are left behind. I know that some truly do live by the word of the Bible and carry themselves as a Christian should. But there are also a lot that are just hateful and awful people who pretend that it’s gods will.
The rapture is probably a false idea that has only come to be believed in the way we've grown up with for less than 200 years. What I do believe in, is the Illumination of Conscience aka the Warning, which mystics are saying will occur quite soon. This has been prophesied for at least 400 years, and certain people have had their own version of the experience for even longer. St. Paul possibly experienced a type of this. But don't quote me on that, it's just my speculation. A cross will appear in the sky, and the only light will be sourced from the holes of where Christ was nailed.. the stars and moon will not give light. Every person of a certain age will see the weight of their sins and their effects on God, they will see themselves and their souls clearly in the light of God, and the Lord will reveal where they would go if they were to die then.. Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory. There will be conversions by the millions I'm guessing. Priests will be hearing confessions all day. That is also prophesied across many eras and people. It is a great act of mercy of God, though a very intense one. Honestly, short of something like this, many people just wouldn't believe or accept. Jesus did say many peoples' love will grow cold as the last days go on. Christine Watkins has written about it in a book called The Warning. I hope to pick it up and read it some day. I believe in God and want to follow Him, but my devotion and obedience swings between really intense, and basically non-existent and full of obstinate sin, and I need mercy and forgiveness something fierce. The rapture is probably a false idea that has only come to be believed in the way we've grown up with for less than 200 years. What I do believe in, is the Illumination of Conscience aka the Warning, which mystics are saying will occur quite soon. This has been prophesied for at least 400 years, and certain people have had their own version of the experience for even longer. St. Paul possibly experienced a type of this. But don't quote me on that, it's just my speculation.

Every person of a certain age will see the weight of their sins and their effects on God, they will see themselves and their souls clearly in the light of God, and the Lord will reveal where they would go if they were to die then.. I hope people understand that this seems to be true. And whether or not these specific prophesies are, God still exists. Sin is still committed by each and every one of us. We will stand before an all-holy God who did and does everything and then some for our salvation and eternal and temporal good. You're thinking of Hemaglobin, which is the protein that allows blood to carry oxygen. The only similarly is the root word. Hell, even hematite got its name from the bloodlike color it produces when ground into a powder.

Little correction. When Joel 2 was written and translated into Greek the passage said the moon would literally turn to blood not hematite. And that's how it even translates in English today. I don't wanna be a dick but details like these matter. Hebrew scholars thought the moon would literally turn into blood. That's why they used the word aima instead of skouria, which is Hebrew for rust.

Understood and I always listened to the KJVB where it says the English word Blood so I always thought that it would be the color of blood which is a dark red almost a maroon color and we are still aways away (that is of course if god allows) from the color of blood.
