I'll never understand R Kelly ... Dude literally had it all. He would've done half time shows at the Super Bowl, and could've had one of the most celebrated music catalogs in history. He was rich, good looking and tremendously talented, and could've had all the 18 year old women he wanted, even today ... And threw it all away over some perverted fetish. Really is mind boggling when you consider the two extremes.

Every person who contributed to &/or hid what was going on enabled Kelly & Weinstein to continue committing crimes should also face charges. Those who provided victims & helped to keep things hidden should at least face conspiracy charges.
Our justice system always works that way. If you knowingly aid or abed sexual assault or rape, you can be send to jail for that. Nothing you said is new.
To what extent? Should the driver be charged? Should his fans be charged for enabling him? Who has contributed to this?

There are states in the US that don't have a minimum age for marriage, and bills to establish them are met with opposition. Wyoming just established one, but with opposition from a political party because it would infringe on religious freedoms.
Certain state laws have marriage ages lower than one might expect. Once married, as i understand it, all those statutory charge liabilities effectively vanish.
It's a set of old laws that never got patched, leaving quite the loophole.
He probably got that idea from Law & Order. Smh.

What's scary is the GOP wants to lower the age of consent in a few states.
This video made me respect Bruce much more. I feel like we're cut from the same cloth. One of the things I always fixated on regarding SA was the aftermath. The rest of their life will be enduring unimaginable pain just for that few minutes, in some cases. The worst part is always the generational trauma. Hurt people, hurt people. Love you Bruce. 😢

This crap was absolutely normal back in the day. And it was also a joke. People would crack jokes about it. Our attitudes have really changed as a society. They should’ve been taken more seriously.
What's really messed up is that these guys are probably just the tip of the iceberg. They got busted because they were huge public figures with a lot of victims. It makes me wonder how many other R Kelly's and Harvey Weinstein's are still lurking in the shadows of the entertainment industry.

Bruce, I love your channel and think you seem like a genuinely nice human being and a great lawyer. I'm sure you fight tooth and nail for your clients. ...but what if you were defending a guy like this? How would hearing victim impact statements aimed at your client affect you? I know being an attorney is your "job" and you shouldn't get personally invested or get emotional because that could jeopardize how you defend a case...but I have to believe it would be hard to look those victims in the eyes while trying to discredit them and to see how their life has been changed by your client.
