@@icer39 no he wasn't even close to landing as much he even admitted it right after the fight he was didnt get busy enough. If one of those heavy shots knocking Diaz down it would be a different story but none of them put him down . Couldn't even stop him from staying busy that's why he lost
@maximilianborden313 literally the stats are Diaz 151/740 .. Masvidal 182/654 .. like I said threw less. Landed more. Numbers don't lie.
In fairness, his cardio held up the entire fight. Nate put the pressure on him early, and Jorge was able to match the pace with the bigger shots. Tough fight to call. Easily could've gone the other way.

How did he expect to win when nate was constantly more active stay busy in the pocket ,had way more ring control , basically walked him down most the fight . Nate was actually putting combos together . Wasnt just landing 1 shot punches like jorge ...plus masvidal looked gassed out after the 6th

Box is a disgrace, a joke between combat sports. Nate dias was throwing pillows all 10 rounds, while Masvidal was throwing devastating punches... still in the statistics Diaz landed 115 power strikes 🤡🤡🤡 I didn't see one... that is why MMA is rising and box going down...
Masvidal was the one hurt on multiple occasions and he got wobbled by those “pillow punches” but let’s talk about Masvidal . He landed hard shots that didn’t even stagger Nate 💯 not once was Nate in danger in that fight of anything lol Jorge I believe really got no knock out power imo . Small gloves , maybe ? Diaz controlled the fight and appeared to be the clear cut winner. Expected more out of Masvidal. Nate’s pressure was the story, Jorge couldn’t put anything meaningful together

Watching it live I thought Masvidal won, but I don’t think it was a robbery or crazy to say Diaz won. Masvidal Talked a lot of trash like he does before every fight and did not back up his trash talk. Masvidal had so many opportunities to hurt Nate and maybe even drop him but he was worried about gassing out. Not a great performance from him.

Glad diaz won. I have alot of respect for both men and both men have crazy ,exciting and entertaining careers , but I I'm a bigger Diaz fan and happy he got this one..
I wouldnt have been mad either way the decision went but with it that close there was no way they would give it to Masvidal in Cali. Jorge landed the harder shots but Nate was more active.
