Hi Dave! Founder of NinjaPipe here 👋 I just watched the entire video and I side with you on everything. I'm going to re-watch this with the team and then make a game plan to resolve all of these within the next 2 weeks. I fundamentally see an issue with how we agree to too many features which is bloating the software. I am first of all going to cut back on that and focus on building a solid CRM with all the necessary features that we 'should' have to go shoulder-shoulder with the more popular competitors. While doing that, I am going to work on simplifying this way more and see how we can get the functionality done at much less effort. We are determined to get this right and that means I have to listen to you and the rest of the community with 10 ears. Thank you again for the honest review (and the tough love). I am going to put my head down and get to work. Much love
A commendable response! I genuinely don't like giving bad reviews. I will be happy to revisit in 2 weeks if you think the product is ready. Email me dave@clientamp.com
This is awesome! I mentioned in several places (here, FB groups, etc.) that I really hoped someone from the NinjaPipe team would see and respond to Dave's thorough review. You have a great premise with NinjaPipe and some very good building blocks, it just isn't well put together (yet). I don't have a lot of confidence that you all can fix everything that needs fixing in 2 weeks, but if you make actual effort and noticeable incremental improvements, that will speak volumes about how you and your team feel about your product. I would say that 45-60 days is a better goal for major improvements. This will give people time to buy, test, evaluate, keep or refund. In any case, I am pleased and impressed by the quick and emotionally intelligent response you have provided here! Well done @dinukajay!
@@JustSturgis Thank you. And you are right about the realistic goal setting. Either way, we are going to work on this feedback and get these out as soon as we can as a team and eventually make this a really great CRM. It's a time game and a marathon and I have no intention of quitting this or selling it away. So I'm going to try my level best to make it great! 💌
What a wonderful review. I really appreciate your honesty. I was just about to purchase the program. Then I thought, well. Let me just analyze it a little bit more before. I move forward. And found your detailed review. Unfortunately, I have to move forward to the next CRM option. or just building out. Automations using make.
Thanks Wendy! Best of luck. Check out FreeScout with the automations and kanban addon. Makes a great little sales CRM if you're willing to host! (otherwise we do that for clients at clientamp.com)
Really appreciate this honest review. Thank you Dave for what you do. What do you think of Gobrunch though? Do you think it could someday make waves in the future?
I still do not understand if there is a knowledgebase. Where does the bot gets specific information from about the company, product and service? Do you have info about that?
What a mess. Why would they even bother launching on AS 🤷 Thanks for the review. I had high hopes for this tool, it looked so good. Videos on their UA-cam channel are about a year old. Even if they did fix those issues I wouldn’t waste my time. It’s clear they have no idea, it would only be headache after headache.
wow glad i watched this video. definitely a pass not worth the headache, when you want a start up have something that just works it seems you got more "issues" than one would like. Why do people release broken software? why the rush? you only hurt your potential sales and clients using your software and once they are gone, they ARE gone.
@@dave-swift thank you for making it! because I was considering it tbh. I don't know if all these appsumo software are or will continue to be serviced, I bought today tinytalk and already running into problems just setting up not even into testing on a site yet, it's ridiculous.
Ugh, avoid like the plague. If you're going to self host, Espo FTW. Need something more lightweight, then try FreeScout with CRM, Workflows, and Kanban modules.
I was looking to buy this product, but after this review, I decided to pass. Too many bugs to fix, and it doesn't seem user-friendly. Thanks for the review @dave-swift! Very helpful

@@dave-swift Thank you my good sir. I will do that!

Thanks Heavy... I haven't tried Gobrunch, so I don't have comments on it right now.

Wait, there is a bot?
No, no knowledge base.
I think I covered every feature in this video aside from the client portal and databins.

waiting for the updated video dave
Me too!
NinjaPipe "we'll get this in next two weeks" - we've seen this so many times.....
Two weeks is ambitious. Agreed. I comment on this in the upcoming Taco Truck Roundup.

@@dave-swift That's quite helpful. Thanks
I would say Amwork is waaay to polish vs this one.
Between the two, I would go with Amwork as well!
Right dave I was waiting for your review actually
Thanks @panimovienaba62 👍
2 weeks have passed... I imagine they didn't deliver on the promise?
Can confirm everything looks the same to me and when I send a chat it still doesn't show up until I reload the page.
Wow, that was brutal, the product, not your review, your review was great!. Definitely not superior to Amwork (or most other CRM tools).
Thanks Justin!
WOW! What a mess.
Needs improvement...
