Guitar Unboxing, Demo, and First Thoughts of my Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S

CORRECTIONS: The EMG pickup is actually called Retro Active Hot 70, and I meant that someone had said that the second knob was the volume knob for the EMG pickup, which is fortunately incorrect.
I finally caved and treated myself to this one. I had wanted one for ages, but always had other priorities. I got it brandnew for a good price, so I snagged it up, as the weight was a mere 3.2 kg, as opposed to another one I had inquired about at 3.7kg. It feels and plays fantastic, and the Sustainiac is heaps of fun. So glad I have one at last. It arrived in perfect condition, with just a hint of fret sprout, but I don't feel anything pertruding whilst playing, so it's a non-issue. Great job, Schecter. I am really impressed with the craftsmanship and overall quality. The pickups aren't exactly versatile, and I might swap the EMG at some point.
