I was trying to guess how much the Dall Sheep weighed, I was estimating 200#, but you know better. Have you ever eaten the meat? Is that the Turnagain Arm? So many questions. ;)
Dall sheep can be hunted in Alaska. Some units are open to over-the-counter tags and others are limited draws. It really depends on the quantity of animals in the area as to how many tags they allow.

They are very good eating, the best of wild game. Partly because you have to earn them the hard way.
That flavor bonus it what I had hypothesized.
Are they legal to hunt? They are beautiful, but I don’t know how plentiful they are. I don’t hunt, but I respect those who do… legally.
