why did you titled this video by Secretarybird while most of it not about this falcon?, only less than three minutes are about the secretarybirds!

They are already accustomed to people and have been habituated. Even still, it is best to allow them to approach you and not the other way around. They are very relaxed around people as long as you respect their space...

@evsbichon: I think the best time is towards the end of the rainy season - late March/April. Its also a great time for nesting and migrant birds, young wildlife, the zebra and wildebeest migration in the Makgadigkadi and a pleasant climate. To use the same camera/video equipment you will need a Nikon scope and an FSA adapter - both made by Nikon. They can be purchased at stores like B&H or ordered online at opticsplanet.

Excellent - thank you so much.
What time of year did you visit Botswana? I would love to go for birding /wildlife adventure - would like the best time of year to maximize seeing both the birds and the wildlife.
    Thanks.
PS - I have Nikon D3100 camera could I use this camera with a spotting scope camera adapter set-up like James has.

Moving camera from the hunting bird to the host for theory, at exactly hunting time was just amazing.
