Royal Plantation was a rival of Jamaica Inn Hotel next door, until Sandals acquired it and renamed it by turning it into a all inclusive resort. Don't get me wrong, Sandals is world class, especially when they brought that "Sandals Luxury Included" with countless amenities of a large resort that they usually built from the ground up, but not a charming 1950s 74 suites resort that use to rival the best in Jamaica like Jamaica Inn, Goldeneye, Riund Hill, Tryall and Sans Souci. My advice, please lease it to Relais and Chateau, Luxury Collection or Dorchester Collection!!!!!
Hi Gina! Thanks for watching! While we’ve visited five different Sandals/Beaches properties, we’ve only stated at three of them. Our favorite BY FAR has been Beaches Turks and Caicos! If it’s limited to just Sandals specifically, we’ve viewed them pretty similarly. We haven’t had the opportunity to visit some of the locations we’ve been more excited about (South Coast, Royal Barbados), so one of those very well may be our favorite at some point! :) Happy Travels!

Sandals owner should have never acquired this resort and ruined it for profit. Royal Plantation needs to go back to it's former glory of being a non all inclusive resort. Sandals understand this, that's why they acquired land west of Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios to build a 300+ room resort that make more sense. Have you ever heard of a 74 suites Sandals with little space that cannot add more amenities? Me neither.
