How was Penn state Altoona? I’m trying to pick a campus for Penn state while I do my two years!
Hii I liked Altoona but I only did a semester there since covid happened. I did my spring semester online and then transferred to Penn State Harrisburg so I do not have a well experienced time there. I moved to Harrisburg to be a bit more closer to home. I graduated there and I honestly loved it so much. It is the second biggest commonwealth campus to UP. Lots of opportunities to be involved in clubs, organizations, and the profs also know you and, you can have a great experience if you put yourself out there, like any other campus.
I have also been to PSU Behrend it has such an authentic college campus and atmosphere. But that is one of the farthest PSU campuses depending on where you are coming from and plan to major in.
Ps. I’m not sure if you are aware but Altoona is in the mountains just like UP and is the closest PSU campus to UP. Harrisburg is like almost 2hrs away and not so much in the mountains if that’s is something you want to consider.

All of them were nice. They all have unique features that make them stand out. I have been to only those 3 PSU campuses and then University Park (UP)… but I will say Behrend had a beautiful campus environment with an aesthetic college look and feel. Hope this helps!
