Really loving these, especially since I came back to the game a few months ago after a 2 year break and have been catching up on what's best to do right now. Would you recommend GAS as a priority R9 after GL's and reqs due to the prot boost damage boosts?
So glad you're enjoying these! Yes, GAS is an excellent value R9 (especially after your GLs are in order) not only because of the large prot gain, but they he makes excellent use of even minor amounts of Offense/Armor added as well.
I started last year, May, and Anakin is my favorite character in the franchise, so this is the character I've always wanted most. Finally got him up and running last week. He is R7 with decent mods for Chromium, but I've got to gear up the rest of his squad. My question is this: How much do I lose running Ahsoka with him, instead of building Arc Trooper? I've got a barely functional CLS squad that I've been wanting to give attention since last fall, when light speed bundles. Nor do I have a functional Traya team. Can I put Arc Trooper off, or is Ahsoka just not going to cut it?
Well first off, welcome to the game and thanks for watching! GAS is a monster and you're going to love him. About Ahsoka, unfortunately I think it's pretty disadvantageous to run her instead of ARC for a few reasons: - She's a valued member of the JMK team because she has buff dispel on her basic, paired with her unique causing her to assist whenever a Galactic Republic ally uses a special ability. (If you don't have JMK, she could be great wherever you're using JKA and GK, maybe with your Padme or QA if you unlocked her). Plus, ARC's summoned turret dispels on attack. - 501st Rex's Aerial Advantage gains 25% stacking damage for each clone trooper ally turn taken during the battle, so running Ahsoka over ARC leaves a lot of damage on the table. - Five's Tactical Awareness unique will only trigger to save a 501st Clone Trooper ally, so he will not save Ahsoka nor will she be a beneficiary of the stats he shares when he sacrifices himself.
@@tassenixgaming It would be hard indeed to lose Ahsoka off my QGJ/JKA team for GAC, or my Padme/GK team. It just feels wrong to not have "Snips" on the same team as General Skywalker. I wish they would retcon her to fit seamlessly onto multiple teams, the way that Captain Rex does. I just hate grinding Arc up in Cantina when I need so much signal data, and was hoping to put him off.
These mods are ungodly. Not a single secondary gone to waste. An incredible display. Rolling away from speed seems so backwards lol but I definitely see the case for it on that particular mod Edit: as someone who grew up on the prequels and a huge fan of TCW I love how timeless this kit is. I do wish his GL counterpart was a bit better or at least team made more sense canonically. I wanted a fallen anakin for so long and was PUMPED when he was coming out as a GL. I do wish they gave him at least one dark side clone as a lifter instead of a bunch of random ufus and empire units
Thanks man, he's a labor of love and I'm always keeping an eye open for even the slightest gains, definitely my most favorite character to tweak. I agree that LV feels much more lackluster than GAS which is a shame, but I do appreciate that aside from AOE daze he has a completely different kit that thematically nails "dark side" for me.
@@tassenixgaming oh yeah for the most part I love his kit. I just wish he had a better fit for a supporting cast not only with canon but just in general, to this day he never really has a set “best comp” it’s always kind of in flux people trying to figure out what’s gonna work or what’s gonna stop BH. From maul to piett to DV to inquisitors to Malicos and back again lol in a sense it’s fun to experiment but at the same time it just always feels like something is missing
