I love tutorials on main teams… often neglected. People cover new teams but if you were not playing forever (me) - I know who to put on the team but not why, mods, etc. well done.

Players don’t need to worry too too much about speed on Dark Trooper because he will gain a lot of TM under Veers lead and will assist every time Piett attacks if Piett marks him (which he should). All that to say, offense arrow primary is great for Dark. Try to get a nice speed secondary on there for sure tho. Include Range in the comp and Dark has even more potential to attack out of turn which boosts TM and damage even more
Adding Range means Starck will probably go to Iden’s team. Gideon is great with Veers to *ensure* your team goes first. If Gideon is needed elsewhere in a 5v5 situation (for Gidme for example), put Starck back with Veers. Iden will need some extra qualifying Troopers if you want to run her. Lots of candidates for that

I wonder the same. Might be a spot worth tweaking mods to gain an edge. Id say it depends on your exact lineups and how they plan to evolve....obviously. If youre running veers and iden. If you do or dont juice up gideon and/or dark. Theres a lot of very effective early game trooper combos and farming paths. Especially with solid easy empire unlocks like vader and the emporer.
Is the defense triangle a bad thing on dt? I get that offense is optimal...but is it? I ask because DT's kit is wierd considering health, protection, and defense and I dont know where to begin. It also depends on what you need troops to accomplish. CT3 then primarily TW offense? Put offense on Veers and speed on Starck. Getting a kill can be critical to the TM train. A crit damage triangle is never wasted on an early game trooper team. Starck grants 2x on both damage and chance, Veers increases chance passively (i believe), Snow grants passive damage, and Iden garentees crits if modded for potency. So...offense on Veers. Offense secondaries for all early game troops. Crit damage on the triagle. Crit damage mods not needed outside of snow. Offense, protection, and defense triagles can be taylored to your needs. Some potency is nice on Starck for different game modes...especially if you have Snow modded and built. Defense mods are also never a waste in a jam. I have found better results modding Range for speed as opposed to offense. Crush that CT2 and 3 and profit.
I've just started playing again. Being huge empire fan I'm loving the troopers team. I'm running veers and working on iden too. Don't suppose you could do a iden team video in the future please ?
Yes Gideon should be faster than Piett and it's not difficult to do so but if you read the skill carefully it says that after having reset everyone's TM (enemies and friends) it will give 25% TM back to allies...so even if Piett was faster and gideon resets everything in reality you start again from 25% and in that case you want piett really fast to get the turn meter train back.
Because Magmatrooper's unique gives him like 40% turn meter per debuff (mark him with Imperial Ambition) it stacks up to 20. And the rest.... another 10% via Veers lead and Piett unique causing the buffs (Emperor's Trap) to stack up 👆
What about Rolo lead team with Sana staros? It works just like Veers troopers. Rolo lead givs ally rebels 30 tm per debuff, sana gives debuff to rebels whenewer rebel starts turn. You can achieve full 100% tm cycle. Is anyone aware of this team?
