Don't panic folks, there'll be an extra episode of Non-League to Legend on Saturday to make up for missing this one, but this database releases today so it was pretty time sensitive! Head over to @themadscientistfm at themadscientistfm.wixsite.com/website to get your hands on a copy!
A Glory hunter style save with this database would be good. Regular moving clubs and being able to manage all these players. Also noticed Leeds winning the Champions League at Old Trafford 😬🤣
I started this DB yesterday, and I thought earlier today if the real-life regens came through the correct youth clubs and at the right year. This video comes up in recommended now and starts with the exact answer to my question. Thanks
I'd love to see how the lower tiers in England turn out. Would be interesting to see, particularly with the recent rise of some smaller clubs like Bournemouth and Leicester over the last decade or so irl. Also, I support Bristol Rovers and obviously as a Posh fan I'm sure it'd be interesting for you as well.
As a Leeds fan this just seems like a universe where the timeline changes when we didn't absolutely imploding financially in the early 00's. Is Peter Ridsdale still chairman?
Having now seen yours & Omega Luke's videos with this database I might have been persuaded to upgrade to FM23 some point soon & try out this database too. It said Milinkovic-Savic was born in Spaion his info screen
Maybe for a part 2 consider doing 10 minute overview for each 5 year interval, so 2003,2008,2013 etc with top transfers, champions league winners, winners of the big 5, world cups etc.
Laporte nearly had caps for France but was injured a couple of times just before the games he should have played in. Koulibaly was born in eastern France and played for the french youth team. Deschamps wanted to call him on the A team, before learning he already had caps for Senegal. Could we get a look at the french league if we have a new video ? Metz had just lost the title to Lens for a small goal difference the year before the save begins, and went down hard after that, did they got the same trajectory ?
Sergej Milinković-Savic and his brother Vanja were born in Spain. In Spain you get multiple names upon birth, thats why they have 2 last names, their mothers last name, and fathers last name.
I'd love to see the Scottish leagues & see if Celtic & Rangers are still the best teams, or if anyone else has overtaken them as the dominant force Also, not sure if you noticed, Scott McTominay chose England over Scotland
I think the most surprising thing I saw in this db was that jack wilshere didn't retire at this saves version of 2014 and is still playing present day for Newcastle
I feel like the best way to play this save would be to get a director of football in and hand him the power of transfers and see what gems he can sign for you
Since you didn't take a look at France in this one, I'd like to go and look there (admittedly this is so that I can see what an FC Nantes that didn't lose all it's money looks like).
Good to see Peter Ridsdale kept throwing around all the money possible at Leeds in this save, but without absolutely crippling them with debt like in real life!
Presumably there was a period where Man City were a middling Div 1 club with somewhat manky facilities packed full of the most promising 14 year olds imaginable, programmed to stay there.
Be interesting to see how the big managers progressed. Presume with no Porto win in the UCL these is no career for Jose. Do Pep and Klopp still make the big league managers
The Devs really missing an opportunity if they don’t release an official version of this in future. I’d play it more than a current database and I bet plenty of people would too.
Thinking back to the late 90s, Leeds were in incredible shape. It was missing out on the champions league one season where they literally were boom or bust that sent them downwards. Otherwise they would have been a powerhouse
@@reintaler6355 it's all about money. Qualifying for the champions league would have given them a huge financial boost which they had bargained for. They missed out so had to try and spend again to get in but didn't and eventually the debt caught up, players were sold and they slid down the leagues
@@stewartmoore3590 I don't disagree, just saying that it was bound to happen as they were constantly on the ropes. Tho if they could've remained competitive into the late 2000s when the income started to boom it would've been a different story
Leeds are just like this I think; they had Kane and Haaland up front for me; Ronaldinho had a good spell there as well. Interesting to see neither Messi or Ronaldo dominating as well.
Hi Lollujo, please could you have a look at Luton in a future episode, did they ever get relegated all the way down to non league as happened in the real world?

I think we should get two episodes tomorrow and one on Saturday to make up for today's disappointment. 4pm is the highlight of my day.
If I could release 2 episodes in a day without the algorithm destroying them both I wouldn’t have had to miss today…
@@lollujo That's a fair point.
@@lollujo guess that means a Sunday video?
As a Leeds fan I'm thoroughly enjoying this alternate reality
I find it thoroughly depressing as Leeds fan
Same
Same lol
Makes you think what could have been if we hadn't gone bust.
Milinkovic-Savic's father was a footballer and he was born in Lleida in Catalunya so he could have been a Spanish player IRL if he wanted to be
Kev is determined to play as Spurs as little as possible 🤣
Nice to see Djibril Cisse winning a ballon d'or
A Glory hunter style save with this database would be good. Regular moving clubs and being able to manage all these players. Also noticed Leeds winning the Champions League at Old Trafford 😬🤣
Would love to see a full save in this database. Something to think about maybe..
what i was thinking
Would love that too!
This would be brilliant tbf
Doing one atm, great fun. Only 1 season in so far but have ronaldinho working his magic at old trafford, zlatan in the academy too
We need a full save in this database!
I started this DB yesterday, and I thought earlier today if the real-life regens came through the correct youth clubs and at the right year. This video comes up in recommended now and starts with the exact answer to my question. Thanks
Seeing Freddy Adu actually get a proper career was nice. I'll need to get this and have a play with it.
This is the Leeds I’ve started to build on early access! Ronaldinho was the first one through the door. Lampard and Gerard won’t Be far behind
Seeing some managers in surprising leagues. Would be keen to see what top managers did like Sir Alex, Wenger, Mourinio, Ancelotti etc.
actually love how you express your joy to the process of looking at all these teams and players. definitely going to check your other videos.
Can’t believe you missed presumably Phil Jones being England’s starting midfielder
Surely that would be Curtis jones as its a midfielder
yhhh it’s curtis jones look into he right side 15:01
Great stuff. Would be interested in seeing the lower divisions if there's going to be a Part 2
Wouldnt make sense because then you could just poach guys like mbappe for 5 mils when they spawn
@@AntlerToxDon't think he meant play
Would be interesting to see how far clubs have fallen or risen in comparison to reality.
As a guy in his mid 30s, who’s peak football fandom was 98/99, I would love a series based in this DB!
Absolutely love the video, was so unique to see the way players grew but God damn man I can't stop saying 'Adam cole Bay bay'🤣
That Freddy Adu appearance really caught me off guard 🤣

love these retro databases. hope you're feeling better lad

You went through the Prem. The one that stood out to me. Derby Count top 7. I want to see that History Please and thank you.

Be an interesting series idea If you did an NLTL or similar on this database featuring Young Kev
Laporte nearly had caps for France but was injured a couple of times just before the games he should have played in. Koulibaly was born in eastern France and played for the french youth team. Deschamps wanted to call him on the A team, before learning he already had caps for Senegal.

Amazing video. Cheers mate
Loved this Kev. More interesting than into the future ones. More please.
Happy to have you back Lollujo!
Sergej Milinković-Savic and his brother Vanja were born in Spain. In Spain you get multiple names upon birth, thats why they have 2 last names, their mothers last name, and fathers last name.
Good content!!! Keep upload this type content pls
been seeing this db all over twitter glad it’s finally out
Neuer being at Barcelona but still shown as captain for Bayern.
And Messi only developing 12 finishing is crazy
Thanks for making this video🙏
Awesome can't wait to download this and have a play.
I'd love to see the Scottish leagues & see if Celtic & Rangers are still the best teams, or if anyone else has overtaken them as the dominant force
Also, not sure if you noticed, Scott McTominay chose England over Scotland
As a Leeds fan that grew up in this ear this is fantastic to see what we could've been like!
i imagine going through this league on stream would be good, people could post in chat asking you to look at their favourite teams and players
I think the most surprising thing I saw in this db was that jack wilshere didn't retire at this saves version of 2014 and is still playing present day for Newcastle
I feel like the best way to play this save would be to get a director of football in and hand him the power of transfers and see what gems he can sign for you
El Phenomenon, be really interested to see how his career turned out in this! Not that well I imagine with all Totti's Ballon d'or wins
Literally everyone played for Blackburn and Leeds haha
FM retro databases are more fun to play than the actual database.
I've spent last 2 weeks doing what you did lol many many saves holidayed, (testing DB )
98-99 retro is most definitely cool
92-93 retro takes me to epic levels
I'm trying to save Oldham from the free fall
Be interesting to see a NLTL based on this DB
David O'Leary basically became this universe's version of Ferguson/Wenger.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was born in Lleida (Spain) when his father was playing for UE Lleida
Good hystory 😉 good goals at all!
Show us Lazio! They were a powerhouse back in 98/99
The Dongless nature of the database alone makes it worth a look!
If you make a part 2, I would love to see some records
I wonder if the save creates the legendary regens of LMA Manager on the PS2 with names like
Paolo Davies and Eduardo Pringle
You need to look at the club legends and icons to see who was new there
I think the biggest surprise in this video was Kev’s knowledge of footballers.
Since you didn't take a look at France in this one, I'd like to go and look there (admittedly this is so that I can see what an FC Nantes that didn't lose all it's money looks like).
Milinkovic Savic was born in Spain, so dual nationality (and the Spanish-type last name, father's and mother's). Both parents are Serbian.
Good to see Peter Ridsdale kept throwing around all the money possible at Leeds in this save, but without absolutely crippling them with debt like in real life!
Freddy Adu what a wonderkid he was in the old Championship manager games and FM.
Rooney. Lampard and Gerrard? John Terry, Zola? Trying to think of the absolute legends. Roberto Carlos maybe was still about or Maldini?
I think the question we all want to ask is, given it seems every world class talent went through Leeds, how long was Pablo Fornals there for?
I'd love to see a watch-along of a UCL or World Cup final in this world
Presumably there was a period where Man City were a middling Div 1 club with somewhat manky facilities packed full of the most promising 14 year olds imaginable, programmed to stay there.
Roma is a nice try in this one
‘We’re going back…. Back to the future’…… great Scott
Be interesting to see how the big managers progressed. Presume with no Porto win in the UCL these is no career for Jose. Do Pep and Klopp still make the big league managers
Would love to see where Grealish ended up. Along with people like Ross McCormack and what the championship looks like
Need to see the starting database with the prem league teams... Can Kev do the Man Utd treble better than Sir Alex?
The Devs really missing an opportunity if they don’t release an official version of this in future. I’d play it more than a current database and I bet plenty of people would too.
Man I love these kinds of saves haha
joe ridley is a real player 😭
Literally 3 minutes into the video and I get another reminder that Chelsea once had Hazard and Salah
And KDB
Nice to see Jack Wilshere survived the injuries in this universe
Honestly I'm curious about the world rankings, especially considering mexico won the world cup. There has to be some curiosities there.
🤣 mctominay in the England squad and Joe Hart at Derby are my faves so far
This is a very massive project
Love you kev
What about posh? And the 1st division down, definitely need a save with database Kev 👍
There must be a load of The Class of 92 in here? Worth a look
Hm. As someone who plays FHM and OOTP as well I kind of wish we could play in historical seasons in FM.
You have to do a full save with this database!
The life of Leeds United we could have had 😭
Which managers got the sack and when?
Alex Ferguson and wenger what became of them???
we would love to see more from this save!
Is a throwback roster like this available on the console version? Please let me know! Thanks!
This would make a interesting stream
Couldn't figure it out how to get it working will try again later
Arsenal being 5 times runners up for champions league would end me!
you can have a look at the managers history
Thinking back to the late 90s, Leeds were in incredible shape. It was missing out on the champions league one season where they literally were boom or bust that sent them downwards. Otherwise they would have been a powerhouse
If one miss could doom them they were not in great shape. Even if they'd have made it, what about missing the next year? And the year after?
@@reintaler6355 it's all about money. Qualifying for the champions league would have given them a huge financial boost which they had bargained for. They missed out so had to try and spend again to get in but didn't and eventually the debt caught up, players were sold and they slid down the leagues

Milenkovic-Savic was born in Spain. His dad played football there.
Adam Cole T shirt , nice
hello bro i just wonder how yuo get this regens to work in database do i need to tick something
How do Leeds have Haaland and Mbappe when they were born in 2000 and 1998? Just wondering are they programmed to be regens down the line?
Hi Lollujo, please could you have a look at Luton in a future episode, did they ever get relegated all the way down to non league as happened in the real world?
Where can I download this DB?
How long did Wenger stay at Arsenal? How did the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira, etc get on? I assume there’s no Invincible season?
Awful to think about
Leeds were a top side in those days and appeared to have money and great youth development.
I have a question, have the Regens like mbappe or neymar etc the same Id, like the fm23? Can you check this for me?
