If you do go to a Spurs You'd definitely have to wear that Spurs shirt with Campbell written on the back. 😅
You go to Tottenham - Arsenal and sit in the visiting area.
Go to a game with the away fans 😅 the away fans will love you with that shirt, but make sure you wear it after entering the ground and take it off before you leave the ground 😂😂

Yeah I was gonna say, you say you need a defensive midfielder and you have one of the best in the world sitting right there. He's also a team leader, if Kev gets rid of him, Son, and Kane in the same window then things might completely fall apart
Porro will last 3-4 more years too and you won't find a better right back.
Tbh I have no problem with having old players in a team as long as they have decent natural fitness. The better that is the less they decline overtime
I only ship players when wage is too high to renew and transfer fee is get can fund two U23 types that will work their way into the squad
I usually ditch players when they get into their 30s too but Barrella still looks world class! Surely he must be kept around for another year or 2
I always used to but since FM22 players with good natural fitness - especially elite level players - can keep going much longer.
I signed a 36 year old Kane for my Leicester side, scored 96 goals in 3 seasons 😅

I’m not sure if this is still the case but a couple years ago he said he was against affiliate clubs
@@JJ-ut3zv It's because of his realism rules, you aren't allowed affiliate clubs under FA rules or something, so it's not really done in England, except some big clubs have a foreign one. Like Man United had Royal Antwerp for a while and Chelsea has Vittesse.
I would keep Kane for AMC cover and Barella for CM as dlp as they still look decent. There are some utter dross players on 200k plus in the squad so I would move those on first, ie. Bulut
I'd probably keep Kane on as the main striker just till the end of the season. Mostly for the club atmosphere.
This could go wrong quickly. Shocking form and having to get rid of most of the established players. This will test anyone's managerial skills.
Barella's physicals are still really good. Definitely a hold until at least the end of the season

You should definitely be keeping Kane (great back up for a couple or years) and Barella (natural fitness will keep him as an option for a long time yet)
You can only register three new signings in January anyway, so it’s definitely not the time to cull proper top class players regardless of their age!

Barrela and kane is so good even in the ages of 34 and 36 you can play them until the end of the season and keep son if his contract is terminated at the end if the season solid backup for the unimportant games...

For a save based on "realism", not sure how you can walk into a club like Spurs and immediately decide to bin off Harry Kane for an average looking playmaker up front! A lot of those old men are still good options and just looking at the number 3 in their age is a stupid reason to sell them.

yes you can live in Hotspur Way, they built Hotspur Lodge for temporary overnight stays for staff and players, its basically a hotel
that just means he would be shopping for the best house in uk for 26 million. unofficaly the whole point of the series is to find the fanciest house within his budget.

I've observed, for several iterations of Football Manager, that the A.I. teams massively overspends on reputation. It just keeps on re-signing its old men until they fall apart.
I was kinda bummed that you left Preston since you had put so much work into its longevity, but now that I have watched this video and seen the absolute disaster you have inherited, I'm so excited to see what you do with Spurs. I'm gutted I have to wait till Monday to see! Proper cliffhanger.
I also think you should sell the older players a few at a time, as getting rid of all those established names at once could be detrimental. Some of them will provide adequate cover while you finish the season.
Don't sleep on Roony Bardghji as an alternate for Right wing, moving Kvaratskhetta up top

We know you love your young players Kev, but having a *Model Professional* and two Professionals right at the top of your hierarchy will surely do wonders for your initial crop of wonderkids via mentoring and just general influence. Also will probably go a long way towards softening the "turnover tariff" FM seems to inflict during rebuilds.
Son should definitely be leaving, but the other two can be very good mentor/team leaders, and Barella can absolutely put a good shift in, if only for the next season
Can't wait to see how many players are shown the exit door come January!

cannot recommend enough to not get rid of milinkovic-savic. i signed him in his last few years for my all-conquering st pauli side and he was absolutely world class. he won't bring you in much money, but he will be extremely useful on the pitch. even more so for barella and even kane, but everyone's said that already lol

Kane, Barella, Porro and Romero are still elite level players.
Kane as a DLF(s) or an AMC with fast, attacking roles around him will excel.
Porro can be your starting RB for the next few years until his key physicals drop below 13s and 14s
Don't get rid of barella, he's still very good
I would keep old man Kane through the summer at least. In my save at least he is still really good at scoring goals in 2032.
Tottenham makes sense, carry on with the career arc of overachieving with small clubs

Kev, FM23 has massively changed the longevity of players with good natural fitness. You're literally getting rid of world class players who still have a few good years in them! Barella will definitely do 2 more years, and he's just about as good as midfielders get, and Romero and Porro have 3 or 4 years left at the very top level. Kane only has 6 months on his contract, why not keep the club legend, captain, and man sitting at the top of the heirarchy til he retires? Also, that Diego Medina guy's attributes are great regardless of star rating (which would probably shoot up if he got a few 7.0s in a row in a anyway).
The debt was refinanced in 2021.

There are a small number of FM influencers I routinely watch on UA-cam. You are one. You and Zealand I find the funniest and most entertaining. The things I learn from you both are a bonus. I asked you once if you ever were a member of "The Hut". Predating even that was the old LLM page on the SI Forums.
On there was maybe the funniest story I ever read about playing FM. It was the story of Johnny Yakuza. He was a legend in there. His AARs were astoundingly funny and scary at the same time. He was known to only play the game dressed in a suit and tie. (HMMMM) He was known to break things in his room from throwing Shit in anger (like water bottles?) and screaming at his team. Remember, this was in the days of CM 01/02.

you should keep kane and play him in midfield! still a quality player and you wouldn't get a lot of money for him anyway. you're tight on budget so this would be an excellent option
The save just got predictable - save over (CL win) in 4 seasons. This is where reality goes out of the window. you would never be allowed to ditch Kane and Son midseason. Keep no.14 he's only 32.

Yeah, this was never really in doubt. Rules of the save are rules of the save. And for that much money, I'd hide my Dortmund shirts in the cellar and wear Smurf Blue.
Barella has great natural fitness and will probably be good for a couple seasons more. Shouldn't necessarily be sold Kev, unless he's on bonkers wages of course.

I used to get rid of players after 27 but ive recently started keeping a few over 30 who have good mentoring attributes. I would sell everyone here I can because you might not be able to get rid of bad salaries

Despite the disappointing decision, I will still be watching to see what happens. Either way it’s going to be an interesting watch. Either NLTL gets longer with Kev being sacked or jumping ship before he’s pushed or he ends up winning with a club he cannot stand

Doing what I call a “Freddy gets Fingered”. For context, that was a movie which the director (forgot the name) was contractually obligated to create, so he made it as shit as possible so he got fired.
