Volvo Truck Coolant Line Disasters

In this video I go over how I have mitigated risks for O/O's when it comes to the dreaded volvo plastic coolant lines on trucks with D13 engines.
The lines we are talking about go from the distribution block located on the inside of the frame on the passenger side just behind the coolant filter and then run towards the rear of the truck along the frame until they 90 down and terminate at a quick connect.
Volvo does not offer upgraded lines and does not sell the fittings separately. Additionally the stock lines are unsupported for over 24" and very susceptible to vibration and being hit by road debris. With some care a shield can be made which uses existing bolt locations that will provide support and prevent road debris from ever coming in contact with the lines.
