Being an interior house painter, we deal with colors all the time. I've had a couple of pretentious designers spec Pantone colors for walls, but we just found the closest match in a color deck and told the actual customer what we were doing. Fortunately, that doesn't happen often. But our paint store doesn't do PMS matching. Now that I'm getting into screen printing, I'll probably go that direction. Not sure if I'll be able to use it in the painting biz though.
Hi Josh, can u tell me what the differences are between a PMS Bridge scale and a PMS Solid Coated/Uncoated one? For a graphic designer that wants to design 2- coloured layouts (thats a project i have now) what might be the best to use and why?

Once again, great knowledge for a newbie. Just curious Josh, did you get a color mixing system?
Not yet, but I'm working on it!
