    If you want to, I suggest making the headlights have rims around them and come out further that the grille to be a little more realistic buts it's fine how you have it. Now I've seen a few picture of the M38's lights sinking into the grille, but most of them popping out. I've never seen a 2A's headlights sink in like that, but again it's fine :)

    I'm sorry, I stand corrected, it looks like you have got the dash right, There seems to be slightly different versions of the 2A jeep. I thought you were making an M38 until I saw the square windshield which belongs to the 2A that's why I said the dash was incorrect.

    Excellent work, did you take the measurements from somewhere or did you do it with the 1/10 base? If so, could you give me the plans? I would like to do a project like that.

    • @airwolfie100
      @airwolfie100  4 роки тому

      Dude to be honest, I don’t remember! That was 8 years ago! Now sold as well sadly. If I had to do it again, I found a picture with dimensions and I just divided them by10! Took ages to find the pic. I used to have the templates for the body, but I do not know where they are now unfortunately. If I did, I would share of course!😁

      ajmal yakoob, sorry it’s all scratchbuilt. I had some templates, but lost them when I moved home, and I now have sold it to someone a while back already.

      ajmal yakoob just google willys Jeep dimensions, and click on images at the top, you will get tons of pics with measurements and blueprints, and then just divide them by 10, that’s how I made mine. If you want it bigger obviously divide it by less. Best way is to measure the width of the axles you want to use and divide that measurement with the 1:1 measurement, you will get your ratio from that!

      Yes, biscuit tins, removed the paint, and then soldered with lead, the ones you use for soldering electronics and wires.

    How to make mini jeep bodyparts step up by step

    • @airwolfie100
      @airwolfie100  6 років тому

      Hi deepak, I made a cardboard template, as in the video. Then I used this to cut the tin and soldered it together with electrical solder, got to sand the parts down so they nice and clean though otherwise it won’t work. Also, the soldering iron needs to be adjustable and go up to 100W, you need a lot of heat to make it work.
