Rice water is only a protein treatment, but it can be used as a conditioner replacement or it can be used as an addition to your wash day routine... If you have high porosity hair you can use the protein treatment frequently but if you have low porosity hair you don't want to use it but every so often because low porosity hair can't take protein treatments like that... If you want to implement it into your wash day routine you can do a pre poo then shampoo then condition then rice water protein treatment and then rinsed that out after leaving it on for about 30 minutes to an hour and then style and moisturize as usual
I'd end up cutting my hair super short for the physical and mental (stress) relief from having to deal with all that hair - especially because mine is 4C (and much more challenging on a regular basis). Your hair, though, looks healthy and beautiful.

The fermented rice water is really high in protein. That's why I use it once a month only. Regarding the smell of fermented rice water, I use 🍊 orange peel cause it definitely made the unpleasant scent goes away. But overall, rice water is really good for hair. My hair thicken, soft, hair fall decreasing and most importantly my dandruff gone!
It depends on each individual hair too. Just make sure you don't overdo it. ☺️

Her hair is beautiful, I think we all can handle a certain amount. For mines is already pass my shoulder when I press it out. March thus year I did a big shed, it's not thick like it use to be . I feel it's coming with age, I'm over 60.

I use the rice water with onion juice. Collagen Peptides and do the envision method on my hair. I turned 50 last year and found my hair getting thinner and breaking off. Now it is back longer curly and thicker because of this. I keep the rice water/onion juice on my hair for 30 to 45 minutes. Collagen Peptides is for hair skin and nails. I use black castor oil or castor oil for my eyebrows and eyelashes and know I just use fillers for my eyelashes. I have twin daughters and I use the rice water/onion juice on my daughters hair and it their hair comes to their butt. Great video

Whoa, Sammay..your hair has really grown since I last checked in! I had the same problem with losing hair at my temples. There was nothing there for years. Then, I started taking about a quarter-size dollop of hexane-free castor oil, warmed it up in my hand and apply this amount to each temple, or area of thinning...massage a couple minutes. Do this the night before shampooing, so it stays in all night. Put on a shower cap as it's a bit gluey. I noticed baby hairs about a month or so in, and after six months my hair really thickened up and there was two inches of hair where there had not been any for over a decade. I use rice water occasionally to stengthen my curly hair and give it shine. 'Hope this helps. Keep smilin' :)

I have used rice water with orange peel to mask the smell, it does wonders for sure but 1 thing I noticed if the rice water gets in your eyes ,it does cause some irritation n blurring of eyes later therefore better avoid getting it in your eyes.

You should use brahmi and bhringraj, using rice water too much can cause protein overload, plus you can spray the tea you brew from brahmi and bhringraj onto your hair, it helped me with shedding a lot.

I am protein sensitive as well. I add oils to the rice water and then you don't get the straw finish. And I only do it once every couple of months.

It is obvious she has been caring for her hair for a long time to get to this strength so make sure that you maintain a good diet including lots of vegetables, poultry, nuts, fruits, fish, go easy on meat intake,and keep yourself active by walking... or exercising, whatever works for you may not work for somebody else...take good care of the inside of the body..and then, later try putting things in your hair..Good Luck.. Later in the future I will make a video of my hair before ..and after... and what I did to make it thick and long, and maintain it that way ..

I have a spray bottle. Might as well put some rice in it.
I heard that there's a risk with doing this treatment as often as twice a week. Some people have experienced breakage because it's such a potent protein treatment and they didn't follow up with a moisturizing treatment. Just a heads up :)
