Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns in Spanish have been killing me for weeks. I've looked through videos, bought ENGLISH grammar books for adults, children and students of Spanish to little avail. Yet within seconds you've made it soooooo easy to understand. I can't thank you enough.
I'm in the UK and every night I do an hour of your videos. Its taken me two weeks to learn the days, months, and to count to 100. I have memorised your charts and I'm trying to be faster at looking at them in my head. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly and slowly.
I fimd language learning inoossible but your teaching style is helping me . My goal is to eventually learn portuguese, but these spanish classes are being absorbed by my stubborn brain
I considered myself a pretty good student in all my English classes. Grammar always got me though but your explanations make me wish I could go back and relearn it. You simplify things that no one else can! Bravo! You have such a gift! Keep up the good work!
As a teacher of 35+ years (thankfully, NOT a Spanish teacher), I am awed by your exceptionally clear and direct presentations of the subject matter. Sir, you are a Master Teacher.
At spanish class when my teacher was trying to explain this, my head was spinning. Luckily I knew about Dr. Evans, so as soon as I came home I looked it up on UA-cam and there it was. Lesson 26. In ten minutes he had me understanding what my teacher was unable to explain. So grateful to have this channel. And thank you Dr. Evans for explaining the "grammer expressions" . Its been a long time since I had to remember what a Direct Object Pronoun was. I too love the Chart explanations.
I'm a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese and I've been trying to boost my Spanish skills by studying its grammar. But this content related to direct and indirect object pronouns have been freaking me out because it's not the easiest grammar topic in Spanish, even for someone who speaks Portuguese, and then you were able to make it so easy, simple and understandable. Loved the video! You've got a new subscriber 👍🏼
I'm a Spanish student in Ghana. I find it very difficult learning but with you it's now easy and I'm enjoying it. God bless you Pls hold Spanish zoom classes Gracias
I just watched a few explanations on this topic from some popular Spanish teachers on UA-cam. This is the first time it’s made sense. I’ve said it before, but will say it again, this teacher is the best Spanish teacher you will find! I recommend him to everyone I know learning Spanish. Between this channel and Language Transfer, you have not only the best, but also free, quality tuition. Thank you so much Sir
My dear Language Tutor, I was stuck in my Spanish lesson (duolingo) for over a month now. I was about to quit because it was becoming a stressor rather than a relaxer. I am doing it because of going through a bad menopause and needed a distraction. Thank you for helping me. I have subbed and will use your lessons to get a better understanding of Spanish. Cheers!
I have to say once my teacher gaved me a new hw I came right to the website to see his teaching. I learn so much better from this man and then I go do my homwork lol....Thank you so much I appreciate you.
I’m so glad I've found your videos. I’ve been studying with a wonderful teacher from Bogota but it’s all in Spanish and difficult at times! You’re helping me bridge the gaps. Thank you so much!!
Conozco esto tema bastante bien, pero después de ver su video sobre "Indirect Object Pronouns" también quería repasar los pronombres de objeto directo. Y este video fue útil como pensé. Gracias!
Now I wanna tell you something, you have a great technic of teaching and I am following every single session of this course thank you so much give us more please and courage!!!!!!!!
Thank you Dr. Danny for all the materials you have shared ! I just found out about the channel I used to watch the Que hora es? videos and I was thrilled to find this. Please if you ever think of having Zoom Spanish courses that we can attended please let me know :)
I have watched sooo many videos about this subject and was just beating my head against the wall. You are THE BEAT teacher I have ever seen. Thank you so much.
You are such a gifted teacher, I was so confused with these - but your explanations are clear and precise and really help with learning Spanish. Gracias
U r absolutely right... We learn more about our language when we learn a new language 😅😅 When u said here comes the chart.. my eyes turned into hearts 😍😍😅😂
You are a godsend. I'm relearning Spanish with while daughter. She's in the third grade. I've taken Spanish before, but never went further. I love these videos.
This is really an excellent lesson. Using the native English examples of the forms and THEN teaching the Spanish really simplifies the whole concept. I can do 'live' translation on the spot by approaching it in this way.
omg thank you so much for your videos! I have to get through four semesters of spanish in order to graduate with my bachelor's -- your videos have been a lifesaver!
OMG ! I've been on the verge of giving up on my Duolingo. Been stuck on the Lo, Le, etc for more than a week. But this, this makes sense to my brain, thank you! Can't wait to try my lessons now! 🏴💙🇪🇸
What's funny is when I was in highschool I didn't know what is that Direct Object Pronoun, and here, is simply explain, just as easy as that only about less than a minute 😂
This is such a clear explanation, thankyou! However, it would have been nice to have seen some examples of me, te and nos as the direct object pronouns.
hello Mr Evans, I'm a french pupils( 66 years) and I like so much yours lessons; I want to be fluid in spanish; I learn 3 or 4 lessons every day and after that, I read really focus one or two pages of a book! you are so helpful! I have a question , I listen audible too and they pronounce the "V" like "B": is that in all country in spain? Waiting for your answer, i'm happy to learn with you and your method! thank you so much
Hey Nick! First of all, the absolute best way is always to find someone who speaks Spanish and just start trying to speak. Also, you can subscribe to The Language Tutor Spanish podcast and that will allow you to mentally process what's done on the lessons. Right now there are 2 episodes out and a new one comes out each week. Also, we're about to put practice sheet downloads on the website, so that will help as well.
As Dr. Evans indicated, and as a former exchange student in Spain, just listening over and over, repeating the information over and over will help. Remember arriving in Spain and surprised how the information will come rolling out of your brain when necessary. (And I used to hate the drills in my Spanish class more than anything! ) But yes of course just practicing with someone is the best. Looking forward to his Podcasts.
Best explanation of a direct object that I've ever seen and heard in my entire life!!! Been out here learning Spanish for too many years as well!!! 🤣🤣🤘🤘
Thank you for your lessons! I’ve tried many UA-cam courses but this is the absolute best. I have only one question: I understand how to use it as “it” or “them” but it is not very clear how to use the others. For example, if I would like to say: “she doesn’t see us” is it going to be like this: “Ella nos no ve” or “Ella no ve nosotros” is it even right to say it the second way?
(Because in my language it works either ways, but in the first case the stress is on “she” and in the second is on “us” and I wondered if it works on the same way in Spanish)
Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns in Spanish have been killing me for weeks. I've looked through videos, bought ENGLISH grammar books for adults, children and students of Spanish to little avail. Yet within seconds you've made it soooooo easy to understand. I can't thank you enough.
Having someone speak to you is way better than a book.
Why is it soooo difficult to find books that cover these elements and structures. I'm a visual learner. Thank god for these lessons. Diamond. Bx
OMG same here!
if you get it, you will also in italian and french, a combo... hehe don't give up.
I grew up in Mexico... And I am trying to help my son... And I guess i don't know Spanish 😂. I am definitely picking it up with these videos.
I'm in the UK and every night I do an hour of your videos. Its taken me two weeks to learn the days, months, and to count to 100. I have memorised your charts and I'm trying to be faster at looking at them in my head. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly and slowly.
