I don’t understand how it’s legal for anyone to work 24 hour shifts. My son was recently on an extended stay at the hospital and most doctors were on 24 hour shifts. I feel for all those doctors. It’s so much work and your brain is constantly on go mode! You guys are real heros
It doesn’t make sense bcuz they’re DOCTORS. The same ones that tell US we need sleep and can’t function high amount of hours and we have them working nonstop ?
I very much empathise with doctor’s but that should not be an excuse if they make a mistake yes it happens but human life is entrusted with them and it shouldn’t be brushed off as accidents happen with doctors when they are supposed to save lives-
As a teenage girl wanting to go in medicine as an obgyn, I ADORE these types of vlogs! They allow me to put myself in your shoes and get a glimpse of whats out there waiting for me! Thank you 💕
I currently work 2 full time jobs, one overnight(12 hour shifts), and a day one right after(8 hours), so working 20 hours, and boy do I have such respect for doctors and anyone having to work multiple jobs..Anyway, love you Ali, keep up the good work and posting!!
I just want to say props to you mama you’re doing it all!! ❤️And you also inspire me to keep going even though I’m not back to work yet and dreading the day I go back 😢
I was the person who went into the ER at 31w6days and didn’t leave until I delivered my son at 34 weeks. I went into the ER saying “I have pinkish fluid coming out and slight cramps”. The nurse and midwife both checked me and verified that my water broke and then the big gush of water came out and I was admitted for premature rupture of the membranes. I was so confused and asked “Can I go into labor? And will my baby survive without water?” And the nurse said yes to both questions and said I was at risk for infection and thats why I need to stay. It was honestly so scary but I knew I was in good hands. I had my son via emergency csection on 12/24/2020 ❤
I’m amazed you all have appetites while at work. I’m nauseous just thinking about it. lol. Thank goodness there are so many amazing women Obgyns these days! I’m sure your patients like you a lot. How did you decide this was the speciality for you? What attracted you.
i just remembered i dreamed i was pregnant again! i was so devastated because ive had 1 natural birth and 1 c section, both suck, and in the dream i was dreading how the baby was gonna get out. whewww, so glad that was just a nightmare lol
So why can't they figure out why the doctors how to stop my ovarian hemmoragic cysts? Birth control isn't an option as I'm ttc. I was absolutely horrified when after my surgery I got 2 more hemmoraghing cysts and wasn't very happy when they handed me birth control. I'm already ttc and just found out I lost a couple years bc my tubes were completely closed. Now wtf do I do 😢
In the UK, we have to be bare below the elbows, which includes no nail polish. The rules are they are they a bit more relaxed where you are? Just curious.
This should be illegal! I don’t understand how doctors, people with our lives in their hands, who take an oath to do no harm, work for 24 hours. It’s 100% not what is best for the patients.

And you get surprised when mistakes happen when diagnosed, and blame doctors forgetting that they are humans too and just like everyone they need sleep

Also doctors work around the clock to provide this service bc life just happens and we would all die if they didn’t so thank u to them

Help women thanks
squeezing the spectra flanges is something i completely forgot ab but its so necessary 😭😭 i want every last drop
24 hours. That should be illegal because no way is anyone 100% after 10 hours so anyone being treated after 20 better hope there are no complications.
Medical error is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. Yet tradition in the medical field is held above science!
24 hour shift?+?! That should be illegal!!

Do you like/recommend the ceres chill? Is it okay to pour milk in as you go throughout the day (mixing temps)? Thank you!
How is it legal to work 24 hour shifts? I don’t understand! 12 is already over the top!
How in the world does anyone work a 24hr shift?! Do you sleep at work?
24 hr shift?
Oof 24 hours?! I hope some one isn’t helping my deliver my baby after a 20hr day 😩🫶
Do hospitals ever have a shower room for doctors and nurses who can't go home/ work these extreme hours?
Working L&D is the only place you can leak, go “yep” and not feel bad about for even a second 😌

❤❤❤
It should not be legal to work 24 hours, sorry I don’t want someone delirious helping me in the hospital. We need an overhaul on how people work.

How long does it take to become an obgyn or it is different in every country
I thought you can’t drink coffee if you’re breastfeeding? Is that true?
Heavy bleeding after taking pills for a miscarriage… can someone translate that for me?
Now if you just found out you're pregnant and have had side pain but is constipated every day should I be worried ?
How long would you suggest breastfeeding
Is the person who fell ok?!?
✋🏻 people automatically think light eyes =pretty.
I have to ask did you deliver your own baby?😂
❤️🤍
