F-15E Strike Eagle in 1/48th scale, one of Revell's most successful kits and it's out of production. Time to re-release it with updates to modern standards!
@@IHRZGHKIP Why? Gee, idk!😄 Better details overall, more accurate details, afterburner cans, have you seen those on Revell kit, almost rivals with the resin aftermarket ones! Plus Revell kit is one of the few that has fuselage with the wings as one piece, that's a big win for me. Some would say that it's the best Strike Eagle kit in all of the scales! Yes, weapons in Academy's kit is a huge bonus, also the additional details and upgrades to modern standards, but I would still choose Revell kit! 🙂
Revell. Please scrap the flimsy side opening boxes on your kits for more stable top openers. I’ve received kits damaged because of the flimsy side opening box. So Revell, get on on it please.
The Corvette looks great and the Airbus will be labour intensive in terms of the paint job, but it'll certainly look stunning on a display shelf at the end once you get it right. The Countach kit is showing its age and it looks like one of the wheels at the rear and one at the front aren't sitting straight. Thanks for the explanation of the registration plate decals and the issues model manufacturers face in depicting them, but one of my main concerns with Revell Germany and Italeri is that they ALWAYS have inaccurate UK plates in terms of how the numbers and letters are laid out, and in relation to the age of the car.
Very nice format guys. Keep it up and maybe Revell will send you the kits so we can see the actual plastic. Personally, I am into 1/72 scale aircraft (mostly WWII on up) and 1/35 Scale the same. Honestly, all I want from Revell is either the old Matchbox tooling of, or a retooled 1/72 Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer. I still have a Matchbox kit in my stash, but I missed Revells release in grey plastic. I never heard about Revell buying matchboxes molds. I would buy three right now retooled or not. Thanks fellas.
@@randomnickify So? I did say Revell purchased the molds from Matchbox. That kit now belongs to Revell. The Matchbox kit came out in the early '80s and the molds are now Revells. What is your point?
@@petebesch "Very nice format guys. Keep it up and maybe Revell will send you the kits so we can see the actual plastic" - they are Revell, they work there :D
That F-35 sounds great, love the addition of the weapons and even the dragchute which we're going to use in the Netherlands. First airframes are getting that modification as we speak I think.
@@stealthbomber2127 there are a number of great kits they could re-release (1970 Dodge Challenger hemi stock hood, 2009/2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8), minor moded kits like a never before released 1971 Dodge Challenger or 2015+ Dodge Challenger SRT392 or Redeye, or totally new kits like any of the AMC muscle cars. I'd even like to see a '67 Camaro convertible.
I would like to see the "Bill Signs Peterbilt" rereleased. I'm positive that I'm not the only one who would like to add that kit or several kits to my truck collection.

The ONLY model I'm interested in is the "Can Do" wrecker !!!!!!!!!!!! I can get one off eBay but I'm NOT PAYING $600 FOR IT !!!!!!!!!!! So get with it Revell
You guys should think about bringing back the old 1/32 Monogram slot cars , maybe with modern Carrera Chassis and running gear , plus Monogram never offered digital cars of any kind , an easy fix for your company . The old 60's NASCAR racers , the Corvette Grand Sports , the Shelby Mustangs and all the old classic Can-Am and vintage race cars would be a great addition to the Carrera line of slot cars and it wouldn't cost a fortune in R+D and new tooling , you have it all already !
Hello Alex, I see Revell continue to work in odd scales on car in 1/24 and on car in 1/25 Why is that? Is the Sea Lynx your 12 year old tooling, as it did not say new tool? Hi Luke you hope your new role works out for you. Nice to see reveal behind the camera.
Most of "New" Revel kits are actually re-releases of older kits from other companies - hence the chaos in the scales. Edit: After checking recent "new tool" releases from vario producers it seems to me that everyone is using 1:24 except Americans who preferer 1:25. I assume 1:25 kits are made by Revel USA :)
35:21 - Alex’s English sounds good. It’s not Germglish. Hopefully F35 is 1/48. Still haven’t seen any 2023 models released by other makers where I live. Waiting for C8 and other Revell cars 1/25.
i have the lynx you showed but the big decal sheet was not in the box, it seems to be a problem as i have heard others have had the same thing revell need to sort this out
Luke, is that a Robert Taylor print on the wall behind you ? I have two or three of his prints signed by Sir Douglas Bader, General Adolph Gallant and Johnny Johnson. I met them here in Toronto fir the 40th anniversary of the Battle of Britain

We need 1/72 US modern ground equipment, and 1/144 civilian ground equipment please! (well, I do) Since I'm at it, would it be too much to ask for 1/144 US military ground equipment?😂

You guys should think about making a new f1 model or 2, maybe one from the new ground effect for example. A Finnair livery passenger plane and a Ferrari road car would also be great.

Please please please get rid of the side opening boxes and replace with a good quality top opening box. This is the biggest thing stopping me from buying more your kits. Also put a paint conversion chart on the instructions and label 20th century toolings as “vintage”.
I got to say that I love making the Land Rover,s that you brought out , now how about the Land Rover Camper van ( Caravan) and the short wheelbase Land Rover 90 series 3 .
Yes, it's time a Land Rover 90 came out - Monogram did one back in the early 1980s so that tooling must be available somewhere and the chassis components could be updated with the ones from the new kit.
@@davidhinkson8856 Didn't see that kit but Monogram would have done it in 1/25 unlike Revell Land Rover s which are in 1/24 so a complete new tooling would be needed unless Monogram did do it in 1/24 .

It is so frustrating that a model kit like the Corvette is in 25th scale and not 24th scale. What can’t model manufacturers make car kits in 24th scale?
Pity Revell have saved money and put those inaccurate narrow tyres in the Lamborghini. The rears should be twice as wide - as shown on the box art. The rear wheels aren’t deep enough either. Poor effort 😢
Ok now that you have to c8, how about re releasing the monogram 1985 fiero gt. America’s first midengine sports car. It would make a great companion to this corvette
why dont you reissue all the truck an trailer kits ??? every truck modeller would be a multiple buyer ..seems your set on doing models you have a limited market for , and a poorer quality version than other companies produce ..
F-15E Strike Eagle in 1/48th scale, one of Revell's most successful kits and it's out of production. Time to re-release it with updates to modern standards!
