어릴적 성북동 살때 삼선교 옆 아카데미 과학 드나들며 행복했었지요. 이제 환갑 나이가 되었는데 지금도 내 개인의원 진료실 뒤 조그만 방 하나 마련해놓고 프라모델 작업 틈틈히 하고 있습니다 . 아카데미 과학 무궁한 발전이 있기를 기원합니다.
ㅋㅋㅋ 초등학교 시절 그 유리창을 들여다보며 환상의 빠졌었죠 ㅎㅎㅎ
기억나네요. 나폴레옹 제과점 맞은 편에 아카데미 과학이 있었지요. 진열되어 있던 프라모델 한참을 보고 또 보았던 기억이 지금도 생생합니다.

저도 그곳에서 많은 시간을 보냈고 성인되어서 1/24 스케일 자동차 모형에 빠져 살다가 결혼해서 애 낳고 못하게 되었네요....개원치의인데 현재도 가끔 다시 만들어볼까 상상만 합니다......오토모형은 광빨내는 재미에....ㅋ

@@bunion8579 the last time I talked to my Korean friends (that is, last week) - it was still a corporate hell, where the boss can force you to make coffee or drive his car simply because he is in a bad mood and he doesn’t care that you even - then a programmer, not a secretary. Or deprive you of your bonus because you refused to drink with management after work. And no, these are not rare cases, this is a culture hammered into the heads of many generations - when if you are lower in the hierarchy, you are obliged to obey, no matter how pathetic it may be.

지금 나이가 50대 중반입니다.
초등학교(당시 국민학교)부터 조립하면서 웃고 즐기던 모형을 지금도 취미로 하고 있습니다.
대한민국 에서 아카데미는 역사..... 그 자체죠.....
이제는 돈이 있고 시간이 있지만 체력이 안딸아주네요..

I admittedly have complained about the prices of scale models, but seeing the process from CAD to packaging and the thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of dollars needed to bring a scale model to market, I can truly understand the price point for these products. Thanks for sharing this video!
Academy makes really good models, and they are comparably more affordable than many other brands, and that's why so many people, including myself, are keeping Academy as our first choice.👍
어렸을 땐 장난감에 가까웠지만.. 이제는 예술 작품. 완성후 보고 또 봐도 질리지가 않는.. 내 손으로 이걸 실감나게 만들어 냈다는 게 정말 뿌듯하고 행복합니다.

从上个世纪九十年代就开始制作academy的模型，现在三十年过去了，我依然在制作这个知名韩国厂家的产品。他生产的F/A-18A/C系列飞机模型是目前的最佳选择。👍👍

대략 15년전에 아카데미와 타미아 품질을 비교해보면 타미아가 압승이였는데.. 이제는 많이 올라왔나보네요
@@jwp-yh8whAcademy曾经的旧产品经常有一些外形错误。tamiya在这方面的确做的更好。但这些年随着技术进步Academy已经很少出现这些错误。而且Academy在价格上同Hassegawa、tamiya相比一直有优势。我认为他们都是非常优秀的模型公司，几十年来一直坚持不懈追求完美品质。

아카데미생산과정을 보니 새롭네요. 예전엔 양주시 덕계리쪽에 있었는데, 아파트 개발로인해 의정부로 이사갔더라구요. 덕계리쪽은 아파트들이 다 완공되어서 아파트촌이 되어버렸네요.
아카데미에서 우리나라 고전 자동차들 계속 만들어주면 좋겠어요. 1년에 2~3개씩만 나왔으면~~~
정말 여기만큼은 영원했으면 좋겠습니다. 국가적으로도 나라에서 특별히 관리하면 좋겠습니다.
캐드가 없었을땐 무엇으로 제작했을까...그 당시에도 정교하더만..
현재의 직업을 갖는데 영향을 준 국딩시절 아카데미 조립식 프라모델... 대단해요~!

It must have been very labor intesive. I remember making models in the 1970's. Kids today are no longer interested in models.

Loves Academy model kits, is my life.. as a professional scale model maker from 1996 was using Academy model kits for my scale model works.. by now completed hundreds of Academy model kits, and still working.. have a great stock of kits from Academy.. am too thankful to the Academy model company for the great model kits that I completed as part of my scale model profession.. today I earned everything because of the greatest model kits from Academy.. it smells my life.. it glued my life.. and also won some great prizes for model making.. million thanks for sharing this great video..
I built models as a kid, spending many hours with kits from Revell, AMT and the like. How does a professional model maker earn a living?
@@thardyryll Used to be some work available in movie making, but CG has killed off that path for the most part. I see some model makers working on commission to build specific pieces for collector types that are too buzy, lazy or don't have the skills required to complete these replicas.
70년대 초반 고삐리 시절 삼선동 있던 아카데미 과학 교재사
초창기 시절에 U/C, R/C 비행기 만들어서 주말에 화전 비행장에
단체로 가서 날리던 기억이.. 당시에 비행기 제작 알바도 잠깐 씩
했었는데... 내 나이 곧 70이니 그때가 벌써 50년이 훌쩍 넘었네요...
지금은 보잉 뱅기 공장 옆에서 진짜 큰 뱅기를 맨날 보며 살고 있어요~🤗

초등학교 시절 만드는 재미가 쏠쏠했지. 아카데미는 당시에도 아귀가 잘 맞고 대단히 고급스러웠으며 한 번도 구입해 후회한 적 없었지. 지금은 반 백 년을 넘긴 나이지만 다시 그 때로 돌아가고 싶네. 조립 과정에서 체득하는 지식은 말할 것도 없고 몰입감이 최고며 완성한 후의 뿌듯함과 작품을 바라보는 마음은 지금 아이들도 취미로라도 해볼 만한 충분한 가치가 있다. 영원히 번창하길.

We have to appreciate the efforts of these workers more than ever.
For us to be excited when we make the purchase, and opening the box, we should remind ourselves of the studious designers, to the production staff doing the daily grind in a humdrum environment, all for our pleasure.

어릴적 모든 어린이들의 낭만이자 꿈 그때 당시는 프라모델 회사가 많았다. 그중에 아카데미는 프라모델계의 믿고 사는 프리미엄급
지금 50이 넘었지만 아직도 프라모델 매장을 가면 두근거린다 아직도 가끔 구매 해서 조립하는 즐거움이란... 아카데미는 정말 지켜야 할 기업
몇일전에도 전차와 장갑차 2개를 구매햤다. 고등 학생이 된 아들이 어릴적 F-14톰캣을 사주고 같이 조립을 해주었는데 이사하면서 파손이 되었다.

진짜 아카데미과학은 한국 대표할만한 건실한 중소기업이라 할만함. 내 기억속 최소 40년 이상 품질이 1등이었음. 타미야, 하세가와, 교쇼 등 당시 잘나가던 일본제만큼은 못해도, 아이디어.합동 등 타사 대비해서는 월등했음.
Wow. The Grumman XF5F Skyrocket! Back in 1974 my junior high school's library a really old book which included this aircraft. The book was so old that the Skyrocket's top speed was classified as being "secret" in the book. The book probably was published in 1940.

The book title was probably “Our Navy”. Edgartown Library on Martha’s Vineyard used to a copy. I was the person who signed it out the most.

每次開盒都小心翼翼的 結果看到版件在流水線上是直接從這裡掉到那裡去的有種奇妙的感覺XDD 不過可以理解啦
2:35 Mold making today is "easy" because they have CNC machines to do most of the precision work for them. Back in the days, tool makers did it by hand. They filed, scraped and sanded the molds to specs, and they were often made out of tool grade steel, and often had +/ - tolerances less than 1/100 of a millimeter, sometimes even down to 1/1000 of a millimeter. To make a mold could take months, even a year depending on the complexity and size of the mold. I had a friend that were an old school tool maker, and he did most of the work by hand.
I can greatly appreciate the great tool makers of past years. A skill that is being lost. But just like all old ways of doing things and making the process easier and faster the technology is changing. The new methods have their own high-level skills that should be appreciated as well.
Then why do model makers use the same molds for 20 years?
yeah. moment of stone age era, workers made it by stones for stone material kits.
@@kubluu Because they have a significant investment in the research, design and finally the actual tools (molds) themselves. They have to sell thousands of kits just to break even on this investment. Stands to reason they would squeeze as much life as possible from these tools. Tamiya is arguably about the finest model kit maker on the planet, and every now and then they release kits from the 1970's. They wouldn't do that if they didn't sell.

지금부터 52~53년전이면 아마 우리나라 프라모델 산업 초창기가 아닌가 싶은데 그때 초등학교3~4학년때부터 미친 듯이 프라모델에 빠져 살았었습니다.
지금 생각하면 적지 않은 돈이었을텐데 부모님이 아무말 없이 용돈을 주신 것 생각하면 이제 돌이켜보니 감사하고 죄송스런 마음입니다 ㅎㅎ
그때에는 의외로 아카데미사 말고도 에이스과학 그리고 많은 군소업체가 각종 프라모델들을 만들어 판매했던 것으로 생각합니다. 사실 그당시 품질은 지금생각하면 조악한 것이 대부분이었습니다. 비행기 날개나 부품 틀이 안맞거아 금형이 그래서 인지 모르는데 군더더기도 제품에 붙어 잇고 그러다 친구 아버님이 일본 출장 다녀오시면서 일본 타미야(?)제품을 사오셨는데 엄청난 충격을 받았습니다. 일본제품의 금형(다이 캐스트)기술이 완벽해서 이건 뭐 넘사벽이었습니다. 조종석 디테일도 장난이 아니고 전사지도 다양하고 너무너무 부러웠습니다. 이제 세월이 흘러 초로가 되어 아카데미 외에 그 많던 군소업체는 사라졌지만 아카데미 과학 제품을 만들지는 않고 옛생각이나 몇점 사봤는데 우리나라 기술이 이렇게 발전했구나 새삼 눈물이 흘렀습니다. 이차전지와 반도체 부품 소재회사를 하고 있어서 일본기술진도 많이 옵니다만 어떤 부분은 우리가 기술을 전수하는 부분도 많습니다., 아직도 정밀기계 부분은 일본이 강자입니다만 한국의 기술또한 만만치 않고 그런 맥락에서 프라스틱 사출기술역시 고도화됐음을 실감합니다.
아카데미과학은 어릴적 추억과 꿈을 담아 주었던 우리 기업입니다. 늘 응원하겠습니다. 이제 좀 여유가 있으면 항공기 위주로 모든 제품 다 구매해서 만들어 볼 생각입니다. 디오라마도 만들고 도색도 전문장비 구입해서^^.....화이팅
Это же Академи - они неандертальцы. Там у руководства без удара каменного топора рабочий день не начинается. Обнаглели, зажрались, потеряли темп и ощущение конкурентоспособности. Как выпускали 30 лет назад, так и выпускают... только, сейчас это уже по точности - дрова. Посмотришь современные модели от Бронко, Meng, MiniArt, ICM - потом от Академи плакать хочется.
아카데미과학은 정말 보물과도 같은 소중한 기업.
나의 유년~ 청년기 시절을 아카데미과학 프라모델과 함께 할 수 있어서 정말 행복했다.
아.. 내 손에서 완성품으로 거듭 태어난 그때의 프라모델들이 주마등처럼 새록새록 떠오르며 진심으로 울컥해진다.

지금은 저렇다지만 7-80년대에는 도대체 프라모델들을 어떻게 그리 잘만들어냈을까?! 저걸보니 그때의 생산성이 더 놀랍네..
반다이 건담 프라모델을 카피해서 만들던 시절, 반다이에서 아카데미 뒤집으러 갔다가 오히려 아카데미의 금형 제작 기술력에 감탄하여 협력 계약을 맺은 일화는 유명하죠.
70년도 초반 경신중학교 다닐 때 삼선교 아카데미가 생각나는군요. 초창기 매장에서 타미야제품 특히 진열대 앞에 전시되어 있던 타이거 전차의 박스아트 모습이 아직도 잊혀지질 않습니다. 그러나 첫번째 구입한것은 레벨의 B-17 멤피스벨 이었던걸로 기억하는데 이제는 그것들을 능가하는 아카데미 제품이 나의 취미생활의 중요한 파트너가 되었군요.

Academy kits have improved a lot in the last 20 years or so. They are now among the A tier, not quite up there in the S tier but definitely a solid choice.
I do like their recent 1/48 A-10, of which I have both of the Hobby 2000 boxings and will get the originals too.

진짜 예전에 국산 프라모델 회사들은 죄다 저질 삼류였는데 아카데미만큼은 정말 최고의 모델제조회사였어요 ㅠ 그건 아마 아카데미 정신이라 할수 있을겁니다 세계어디 내놔도 손색없는 자랑스런 한국기업 아카데미 ㅠㅠ
기술과 캐릭터를 앞세운 일본과 싼 노동력과 가격으로 밀어붙이는 중국 사이에서
국내 모형 기업이 이렇게 살아남아 있어서
우리들의 아쉬운 추억 한조각이라도 더 맞출 수 있음에 그저 감사할 따름입니다.

When I was in South Korea, I bought a lot WW2 aircraft, so many I still have them in the boxes. Now, I know how they make models. The research is amazing for these models, I've never even seen this aircraft before. I will like to get it, but it looks like these kits haven't made it to stores yet.
Excellent video - didn't appreciate that the post molding checking and packing was still so labour intensive!
Thank you Academy Science Company, your management and your workers for making a high quality product and making it affordable. I must admit to being a bit envious of the one fellow whose job it is to test assemble the packaged products. What an array of supplies and models available to him.

I really didn't know much about this company - glad to see the production process! I will take a look at purchasing one of these in the future
they are like tamiya kits back in the 90s. great fun. I like their figures more!
The process is very interesting, I have many Academy models assembled and in my stash
I love Academy models as they provide an affordable option for scale modellers while not compromising on quality or accuracy, which watching this video I can see is reflected in the workmanship put into them.
C'est vraiment très intéressant de voir tout cela ! Le numérique a beaucoup changé la donne pour les fabricants, par contre, à l'autre bout il y a toujours les mêmes petits passionnés qui font des maquettes :o)

This is so cool, relaxing. And great to know the Skyrocket kit is still being made. My decals got water 💧 damaged 💔 but looks like I could get new decals by writing to Academy.
You could probably Google 'Academy Customer Service' If it is anything like some of the other Asian manufacturers, they will probably send you a sheet. Doesn't hurt to try.
Simply put South Korean are awesome people. The world is lucky to have them.
