Yep, I'm at it again this year. I'm doing the usual thing of using up my scrap paper, ribbon, and anything else that I've hoarded over the years. I'm re-using last years Christmas cards, and paying them forward to my friends and family. I hope that you find a few ideas, that you can use in your card making.

I recycled Christmas cards for years, but never thought of making new cards from them! Yours are lovely and creative! I’ve made bookmarks and tags, boxes and countdown calendars! Ready to start new project!

Hi Jane ! Yes, isn't it wonderful to be back in our craft rooms ! Love your new organiser for bits and bobs. And those cards, all of them beautiful. I love watching you spin that magic and bring these creations to life. I'm working through my stash too and enjoying using up materials. I just found you, and am so happy I did!! You have a great eye for detail and so glad you recycle everything as much as possible. Family/friends call me a hoarder but I am trying to do my part to save resources for future generations. I don't call them wasteful but I think that! 😉

I like the look of that box with all the smaller cases inside it - my youngest daughter soooooo needs one of these, she currently seems to keep her arts and crafts embellishments on her bed room floor!
I loove my storage boxes!! I have two daughters, who used to use their bedroom floor as storage lololol Goood luck with that Stu! ;) xxx

Thanks for the lesson. I’m new to your site. I’ve just started recycling paper and etc to make cards. You explain your ideas very well and I love seeing what comes forth from your fingertips 🥰👌🏻.

Great Jane, the only point I would make is that I usually just fix the ribbon ends to the back of the card with tape as this avoids any wrinkles on the ribbon on the front from the glue or sticky tape. Otherwise great ideas. I’ve started recycling my Christmas cards as well but use delicate dies to the enhance the pictures from old cards. TFS

Oh Jane, Your cards are adorable! I love how you use all the little bits and pieces from your stash! Your so organized! That has to make a difference when you set down to make the cards, everything you need is ready to go. luv that! do you play Christmas music while you make your cards? I'm feeling the holiday cheer just from watching you-SO cute! Your cards are a priceless gift to all who receive one. tfs ;-)

Just found you, great ideas, but wondering do you buy packs of envelopes for your cards, which fit size of your cards, or make your own envelopes from wrapping paper and stick labels on??
Hi Jocelyn, thank you, I do a bit of both :) I buy packs of blank cards with envelopes, but I also make cards from scratch and make envelopes to fit xxx
