Hi what are the symptoms of a worn-out belt and rollers, on a Yamaha delight 125 2017, mine as covered 10500 miles and drives OK should I check it. Thanks Bob.

Definitely the rollers were the problem and No oil or grease on the variatior bushing , It’s also a good idea to set the belt into the rear pulley to give more slack on front pulley when replacing . BTW you should never run the transmission without the cover on as clutch shaft not in the support bearing !

Im sure in an ideal world with the bike cover but I'm sure static movement wouldn't take much toll on it how else suppose to inspect running belt issues with cover on

Don't think I would use what looked like WD40 as a lubricant. I understand that goes sticky when dry.

It's a lithium grease wd40 not just wd40
