    Hi - its Big Rodders in Ireland. My requirement is for a 50mph cruising machine. Could I expect it to be able to maintain this speed at say 2/3 or 3/4 throttle under most conditions?

    Cracking bikes, those Honda step throughs! I only got as big as Honda C70 but these new 125's look brilliant. Only change I would prefer though would be one continuous seat rather than the two in tandem.

    I can't even figure out how to unplug them. I opened the pocket and pulled out the batteries. They were already plugged in. When I received them in the mail, it came with a thing saying the batteries were "fitted and tested" or something. They work. But I can't figure out where they are meant to detach, how to unplug them, how to charge them. Omg. I am having a bad time, and I don't want to hurt them yanking around Edit: hehe I twisted and they unplugged. One step down!!! ...can't figure out how to use the adapter.

    How well does it hold the road in the rain and on diesel spills?

    • @motovlogger7198
      @motovlogger7198 2 роки тому

      Very good in rain, depending on how you hit the wheels on diesel can be twitchy had the back end twitch before but because of the 2 front wheels it has tendency to crab 1st before toppling but diesel troublesome regardless so if got it leant over might be a different story but the extra wheel does help in places were might lose a 2 wheeler

    Definitely the rollers were the problem and No oil or grease on the variatior bushing , It’s also a good idea to set the belt into the rear pulley to give more slack on front pulley when replacing . BTW you should never run the transmission without the cover on as clutch shaft not in the support bearing !

    • @motovlogger7198
      @motovlogger7198 3 роки тому

      Im sure in an ideal world with the bike cover but I'm sure static movement wouldn't take much toll on it how else suppose to inspect running belt issues with cover on

    Shouldn't you say it Trinity not trainity? After all it's spelled T R I C I T Y not T R Y C I T Y. You don't say Trinity like ~ trainity. I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one and when I hear it pronunced like this I irritates me like trainity WOULD. so thumb not up

    • @motovlogger7198

      Considering I own one and the badge on it says Tricity I'm sure it's Tricity. Its a punctuation how some call it yes Yamaha pronounce it slightly different like Tri City but difficult to convey in txt speech.

    Hi thank you for the video. I have purchased the same top box but sometimes find it hard to clip the red holder when set at the highest position. I lift the cover to the max but it is not enough to allow me to push the red clip. Sometimes it works and some other times I struggle. Does ist happen to you too?

    • @motovlogger7198

    Agree with everything. What you didnt mention is that the 300 is too wide for city filtering. People buy it for motorways. Ill be getting the 125 for my city commute. Looking forward to no foot brake, foot gear shifter or clutch. Thanks for the vid.

    • @motovlogger7198
      @motovlogger7198 3 роки тому

      As I mentioned I don't own a 300 for city commuting so unable to comment regarding that. But as a 125 owner of one city riding they are an absolute blast 😎

  • @paulrose8876
    @paulrose8876 3 роки тому

    Hi I have one these. I had a piaggio 500 mp3 then forsa 125 and I have gone back to three wheels. It accelerates fine. They will sit on the motorway two up at the speed limit with acceleration to spare. I will feel heavier than a 125 but that wears off. What you do get is road presence and stability I only have a car licence and this is the best way to commute.

      Yes the oil change flashes release button then it dissapears till next service interval. I tried it once to see if the ecu has a programme inside when you go over the miles the performance on the engine is limited but did not see much or any change.

    I hate that eco light. It's not even accurate, even with no gas aplied, when there is no fuel injected it doesn't come on above 60 km/h and it's anoying at night, so i painted it over with a permanent marker. I live near the alps, it doesn't really fly up hills, but you're not a complete roadblock either. I like the concept of 2 front wheels. 2 weeks ago i rode through an oil stain with all 3 wheels, at the corner after the stain the front kept completely stable, the rear slipped a little. I really prefer the rear end to loose grip first, especially on a bike. It is more expensive than most 125ccm scooters (except crappy italian rust magnets) but the fact that it can be used more days per year makes up for it. I don't really give a shit about wet leaves or gravel, i ride it anyways. Have fun, and keep scratching that main stand on the asphalt in tight corners!

    • @motovlogger7198
      @motovlogger7198 4 роки тому

      The eco light is useless idea esp on 100mpg+ bike what Yamaha was thinking. Guess appeasing Green Peace or sommmat. My Tricity currently out touring & camping ride safe 👍
