Can the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 Life 40kW Regular Gas Boiler be used with Nest? I have unvented system in place which is used to store hot water. I am intending on using the boiler just for the rads? Do i need Regular boiler or System boiler?

I’ve a Worcester 8000 and have had problems over the last 3 years. These problems, all stem from the Auto filling pressure value. My advice to anyone thinking of getting one. Make sure you get a manual pressure value. Mine is a 35 kw combi and it’s very efficient.

@@SS-78- we originally had the intelligent filling system. It has now been changed to the filling system, with a blue pull lever. The intelligent system caused us no end of issues. Not many gas engineers, actually know how the intelligent filling system works, as it involves setting the parameters within the control panel. My advice, do not install the intelligent system.

Yes the pipe work was a pain on the first generation of the 2000 but had no issues at all. The second generation of the 2000 is much better And who doesn’t love a challenge.
