I am very far away, Argentina, and here we have cold winters but not as cold as there. I try to imagine the thermal sensation, especially when the wind is blowing... Thank you! It is very nice to get to know distant places through your walks.

Especially in winter, wind is a real game changer, on very windy days it feels so much different than no wind, windproof clothing is a real must on those days or you will feel it going through your body like a cheese with holes.

This is harbor with the boats is very atmospheric, would make great location for a thriller.

I enjoy the nighttime vids, but a nice mix of an occasional daytime vid is good too. Nighttime =Peaceful and quiet!

I’m in the Northwest of England 25 miles from Manchester, I bet we don’t get that much snow all winter.
Many years ago when I was a teenager we used to get a lot, but these days hardly any.

There is currently no snow in Southern Finland, but it won't be long before there is.
This also applies to southern Finland: about twenty years ago the winters were harsher than recently.

To answer your question, if by a big white building you mean the tall and proud building @17:11, then this is the Helsinki Cathedral, built between 1830 and 1852. The building is often considered the most famous structure in Finland.

Good morning Eric, in Southern Finland the first snowfall can often fall as early as October, but more often from November to April.
The amount of snow varies, depending where you live, from year to year. In the south, by the sea, there are winters when there is hardly any snow, while in the north, snow is guaranteed. In general, snow is welcome, it brings more light to the dark winter. Beautiful video!

Hey Bobby, it depends on your lifestyle, taxes are indeed high in general. Certain things can be more expensive, like cars, but houses can be quite cheap depending on your comfort level.

When I was in Finland, I found it unbelievably boring. There is nothing exciting going on there. Everything seems to function perfectly, everyone is calm, polite, healthy and problem free. I came to realize people need some conflict and drama to make life exciting! Americans just can’t make it in a place like this! Pretty video though!

I understand that not everyone is for winter, it can be very hard on your mental health.
Sorry not correct. Every suicide is too many but the rate in Finland is not "the highest in the world". According to the WHO, Finland 's rate is the 38th highest in the world, below the US...
Apart from drivers, few other Finns find snow depressing, it brings more light in winter. And it doesn't snow in extreme cold, snowy weather typically requires low pressure.
If i remember correctly, Finland had much worse statistics a few years ago, but it is not anymore now, that's true.
